EDIT: I appreciate the fast response. I have been trying to replicate without success, so I am going back to five stars unless something changes. This is a great free music app but it has started playing commercials over the music which is very annoying and distracting.

The ads have gotten worse over time, and the themed stations only play the same set of songs in a loop. I'm extremely disappointed in the Rush station. Given that they have 20 studio albums, I'd like to hear a better selection of their music and not a handful of radio hits and live songs. It might be different if the live stuff was the top tier like the drum solos, but-and I say this with full love to Rush-the selections chosen could have been better. There's room to improve, but still good.

App used to be great, but now, I can't listen for more than about 3 minutes at a time until it cuts out (usually earlier). Oddly enough, it only seems to happen during the radio show I'm listening to, and never the commercials. All my other apps work just fine. Not sure how this is still an issue in a major metro area with 4G/5G service.

I have had the app for years and pay for it. Recently I have noticed that really bothers me is when I plug it into my car to listen, it will start playing music from a random artist I have never listened to nor even heard of before. It would be different if it was at least the same genre that I always listen to based on my play lists, but the music style couldn't be any more opposite than what I always play. It gets very annoying that I have to constantly remove those stations.

I definitely love this application! I have actually attempted a couple of various other music applications and also this is without a doubt the best. The user interface is truly very easy to use and also it has a lot of attributes that I really did not find in the other apps. The terminals feature is really terrific as well. It has a lot of various stations that I can listen to and also discover new music to. The podcasts function is also truly fantastic. It has a great deal of different podcast

Word of warning. The app doesn't necessarily play well with other audio or game apps. You may have to adjust your settings. Your results may vary. My only complaint is the 30-second ad inserted when relaunching the app if it happens to close inadvertently. Ads starting in apps played while listening to a stream will stop the stream. Restarting requires a 30-second ad/pause before the what I am listening to returns. Otherwise it's a decent app, does what it's supposed to, deliver ads.

Would be great if they would modify playlist edit features with the ability to edit location on list of more than one song at a time (batch moves) and the ability to send a newly added song to the top of the list. It's a pain to move them currently, especially if you have a large playlist.

The app has landmine popup ads that enroll you into a trial followed up by recurring billing. I was trying to select a podcast when an ad popped up right where I was trying to press, and with no additional verification I was enrolled in ALL ACCESS. My ability to cancel the subscription is disabled in the app. I cannot cancel my subscription through the Google Play Store because the trial hasn't ended and I haven't been hit with a recurring charge yet. Be warned. This should be illegal.

If you create a radio station based on one of your favorite artist, any favorite a bunch of songs, those favorites do not appear in your weekly mixtape. And you have to re-favorite them. It's definitely a pet peeve of mine with this application. The app has become more stable. And the music selection has improved.

Every time I try to listen to a specific episode of a podcast, this app decides to randomly shuffle and play a different episode. But not just 1, it will change episodes randomly within the first few minutes of each! Every time I try to go back to the original episode it will change after several minutes. I go back again, and it will change again! But not to the same episode as before, a different one each time! Extremely frustrated. And no I don't have my settings on "shuffle" or anything.

Problems with podcasts. I am trying to catch up on a long running podcast, halfway there. The app will not go to the next episode. It will either go to the latest one or some random one. And it will jump ahead sometimes thirty minutes or more into an episode when I continue listening after stopping for awhile. This is all very frustrating, especially when I am driving. A lot of times I have to force stop and restart the app for it to let me select the episode I want.

Overall I like the app. They just need to work a little more on actually playing the kind of music that you're selecting. The commercials lately have more volume than the music and it makes you jump, that's annoying. Work on keeping the commercials the same volumen( and NO I don't want to pay for no commercials), I don't mind commercials just don't put them too loud.

App is decent. Has most artists but deff not all artists or songs. Tends to 'pause' when there's a bad connection. Sometimes I have to restart the app or my phone to get it working again. Making my own Playlist is nice but I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list just to get to my most recently added songs. No way around it. Customer service sucks. Anyone I talk to always try to redirect me to someone else and no one knows what they are talking about. Recommend pandora or Spotify.

This app is extremely stable and the UI is relatively user friendly. I like the ability to listen to music or podcasts and the playlists feature is great. I would like the ability to sort episodes of a podcast (e.g. hiding the ones I've already listened to), scrolling through a couple hundred to find the one I want gets tedious. The ability to find and listen to radio stations from all over the country is really cool! I enjoy hearing weather reports and goings on from outside my little area.

The app launches and it's pure clutter. Once I get where I'm going the music plays but no information shows up about the song or artist telling me what or who. I've listened to one station and each time I play it the station album art is stuck on album art from a band that's not even playing. It's made the appearance on Android Auto look cheap and makes Android continue to look worse than CarPlay. I like most of the stations but there seems to be so much unstable in the app.

Lately, when streaming radio stations in the app, the player stops 2 minutes after turning off my phone's screen. When I unlock the phone (turn the screen back on), the player picks up the stream again without having to go into the app. I have tried every permission and battery-optimization setting, and I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the problem persists. I really like this app, but not playing in the background when the screen is locked is a major issue.

Wow, what an improvement! Using my antique android as a music player, and this new version of iheart has become my favorite. KUDOS DEVS! Data, songs, albums, and artist selection have won my favor. Modern adverts suck, but someone has to get paid, and that is a okay. Selection is great, and like music is great. Best of all... unlike other overly invasive apps (I won't mention communist pandora!) This app is simple to setup, configure, and stays in genre. I tip my hat, and thank you all.

It doesn't always play my favorite songs but the commercials have been played too often so hopefully they won't get any worse and to have the ability to hand pick each song that plays would be great. However I guess I'll just have to see how it goes. If it becomes more than I'm willing to deal with I'll just uninstall it and find something that works best for me hopefully this one will be my place for music from now on
