1, because cannot give a zero. We booked 4 rooms for 8 people in Trivandrum through Agoda. We were told at the counter of the hotel, that 4 rooms are booked for 4 people and the other 4 cannot stay unless we pay additional 500 per person. To show the lowest prices for rooms might be getting you the customers, taking their trust for granted will surely chase them away very soon

I cannot sign in, cannot delete photo, all you give me is error error and error!!!! Then please try again!!!! Then now, it is already October. I just received a message from a possible guest that was trying to make a booking in May🙄🙄🙄 5 months later then I received booking in May???? What a joke? And when I was trying to message guest to apologise about this stupid system error, I couldn't send any of my messages at all. It keeps saying technical issues, system error, please try again.

Do not use this app for hotel booking. First they show lower price at first and then when you proceed with it the rate changes substantially. Plus there is a hidden charge that goes upto 1500/- for an average room booking. They have no cash back plan that works. Also they hide very crucial details from customer about non availability of essentials like lift or AC . Rates are all AC but when you reach hotel you get a dingy small room with no AC. They don't take any responsibility for issues.

Last booking was a mess as I booked with a price and I was charged more then the secured price. When I contacted Agoda customer service I was told that because I used pay later service I was charged more (didn't show anywhere that if I choose pay later will be a different price).The option given was to cancel and then book again but they say the price can be even more. I found very unfair the way Agoda is doing business and definitely I will use Booking or any other app.

Very bad app, they initialy offer free cancellation of booking an when we try to cancel the booking they say its not available online, and if we contact their customer service there is no response from them, Very bad experience, I am compelled to visit the hotel I have booked thinking not to waste the amount

I was looking for a good deal on a room. After looking at agoda's deals, I realized Expedia had a better price, so I booked though Expedia, and stayed the night. Two days later, agoda's charged me for a night's stay, without me even going to the charge screen. Of course, they won't refund my money, either, because it says on, "...their end," that I purchased the room through them. What a crock! Don't waste your money going to this site. They will screw you!

I almost got scammed by some fraudster who hacked into the chat between me and the hotel that I booked. They said they need to confirm my payment method and asked me to fill in some form. I called Agoda service center and told them it was weird. But the staff told me that some hotel needed some deposit for guarantee and I should fill in that form. Shouldn't they warn me to be careful and to ignore any suspicious link??? I think the whole staff needed to get some security training or something!!!

The room selection is so misleading and false advertising! I booked a room with a window, and results hotel gave me the room without window! Hotel front desk said Agoda just only pay them at the price of room without window! What the heck! Seek customer service Agoda for help, in the end also doesn't help. Poor customer service. A CS named Jerryco is not responsive and professional to answer all my queries!

Very convenient to use and so far reliable. Sometimes promos can seem to be just priced similarly to booking directly, but the app makes it easier to view available properties all in one platform.

I would have given a Zero star if possible, the property owner sends me a long list of rules and regulations that i would have to follow to stay. At least let them post all those rules on the ad so that a user can see and decide if he wants or not to stay in their 'Jails'. I feel like I got scammed by some random guy through your app in the name of 'cancellation charges' as they're ridiculously high and i still haven't received the rest of the amount of refund.

I was redirected to them from another app to boom a room. When I went to check in there was a $200 deposit for in city residents which was not stated anywhere in the booking listing. The hotel canceled to reservation so I could get a refund. Due to this I spent the night in my car in a very high risk situation. I have reached out in every way possible and no response. Worst customer service ever

I booked, got charged, I didn't get a confirmation email. Their AI customer support is useless. Calling their live agent keeps telling me they have a worldwide technical issue which has been going for hours and then the hotel has been fully booked now... thanks Agoda. I won't be BOOKING here again

They give you dicsount, but when you try to pay it, they charge you the full price of the accomodation, and later dont respons to your emails. They write that all taxes are payed, and when u get to hotel, they say that not all taxes are payed and you need to pay more. This is the worst application ever i have use it. I will stay with booking from now. Dont get robbed from agoda, and never use it. If i can, i would give -1 star to agoda. Good luck to everyone

I have booked a stay with this app about 2weeks in advance.. No reminders... no emails about the booking on the day i should arrive at the hotel... nothing until they have collected the payment and they wanted a good review. Really? I did not even use the booking. Well, there are other booking apps and I really appreciate how they give reminders about the booking the rules, etc. concern to your members should include such emails or messages not simply the notice of payment and good ratings!

I wish they had hired some test engineers to test their app/product instead of hiring celebrities to advertise. The cashback doesn't work, says I need to be on a particular version of the app but am already on a newer version. The customer support chat navigation on the app doesn't allow you to type a response to the question unless you choose a option which then takes you back to main menu. Miles to go before they reach the nearest competition in terms of app user experience.

Too complicated. Discounts and cashbacks are tricky as you have to "REQUEST" cashback after months and then they expire. It's a joke. Plus AGODA is not based in India so they hold no accountability for any misconduct done by hotels. Even though they have all the details of your payments and bokings, you have to keep a track of documents and proofs to even claim a refund. Getting in touch with customer service is a challenge as you will need to manually enter booking number, etc. #Outdated!

Worst app. I booked a room through this app. I didn't get the booking voucher. Some how I managed to go to the property. The property was the worst one. Breakfast was included in my booking but the hotel didn't provided the breakfast. I tried to chat with customer care of agoda but that also not working. Booking by this app is like a nightmare. Worst service provider. Please uninstall this app. Do not book from this app.
