Like a lot of apps, CamScanner is now just too bloated with extra features that sound cool, but don't necessarily add anything useful. In my experience, the app has gotten worse. There's a new feature that seems to guess where the document is and then crops at that point. Problem is, I don't want it to crop there and I seemingly have no way of fixing this automatic cropping. Annoyed as this was scanning official documents that cannot be cropped unduly.

I tried this app because I heard about it during a bored teachers reel. I uploaded and mistakenly thought I had to pay for it. You don't have to pay, you can just x out of that ad. It's amazing! Everything is very clear, and it's easy to send in an email. Easy peasy!

This app is awesome. I found a book I started writing years ago in an old folder and wanted to try and finish it. I didn't want to retype 70 page and simply scanned them and poof, they were transcribed to word! Such a useful tool!

This app is high quality, and serves its purpose. I highly recommend it to users that need to scan in documents or make copies of papers. The only complaint I have is pencil does not show up well under some of the filters, but, that may just be me. Very useful app!

Cam scanner was THE top pdf scanner. I've had it forever, and I have bought it for at least a dozen others because it made work easier and it was a great deal. But now it has changed. It constantly goads me to pay them for some new extra pro version. I don't want it, what I had worked great. They musta got bought out by some soul sucking private equity or ugly multinational.

Incredibly helpful, has stopped me from buying a scanner on more than one occasion. The ads aren't to bad for the features that are free. Have used it for all kinds of docs that usually would have been a huge pain to do in a more traditional way.

After spending hours trying to scan important forms onto a laptop and trying to convert them into a PDF to email, I still didn't succeed on a very well known PDF reader app/PDF app, but after speaking to my super fund, they recommended CamScanner and it was literally the easiest and quickest way I have ever scanned a document, nevermind converting it to a PDF and then getting that attached to an email. I honestly believe this app must be dummy-proof!! So happy & relieved! 5 🌟 without a doubt!

This is the best app for scanning documents! I just purchased a house, and CamScanner made the document sharing process so easy! In the past, I had to use a printer/scanner to physically scan all of my documents, but this app streamlined the process and saved me a lot of time (and paper!) The app is very easy to use, and I highly recommend it to anyone who ever needs to scan any documents.

Love the app but they recently killed of the permanent license I paid for some years ago. Now many features I had paid for are gone. My account has been downgraded and the app is pushing me to pay for another upgrade to return to previous licensed functionality. On the CamScanner website my account is listed as 'Pro/Plus', but when I go into account settings its listed as 'Basic'. Bad form. I have lost trust in this company.

This app was working fine for me up until a month ago. When I submit my work to my instructors, not all the pages are going through. It clearly shows the number of pages scanned, but they are not reaching their destination. This makes me look like I'm not doing my work on time when they email me & it's late now, costing me points. Sorry, from 5 stars to 2.

(update) Still a Great tool! I need it 4-6 times a year. Wish there was a way to pay a few bucks for very intermittent use because it is valuable but not $40 a year for that kind of use. I only use it a half dozen times a year but when I need it it's great! 9/29/23. Still love it! Easy to use and makes good quality pdf.

Awful experience in my first attempt to use the app. When I tried to capture my documents and save it, the app asked me to purchase for subscription and showed me their options. One of the options was 3-day trial and then one year of subscription, but the app deducted straight away from my account the moment I clicked that option! I don't even have that 3 days to try and not to mention that the subscription was not cheap!!

After the last update, I have to re choose the quality level every time. The default level is too blurry. Very disappointing. (Update) I'm no longer using this app $80 a year is too much. $30, sure. But now I found one with fewer ads for free.

I liked it better and would have given it 5 stars because when I got my new phone it would do auto size and scan. Now it asks me if I want to retake every time instead of going right to the batch. Just send like an unnecessary step if you're going to look at it before sending any way. Yet, still, it's a very useful app. And great for sending pics and keeping them stored in an organized way.

I have stated it once and will stick to my words that nothing comes close to this app in scanning and maintaining documents. Easy to generate scanned copies and maintaining folders of different set of documents. An all in one scanning app. I don't care if Adobe has a better version of this app out there. This app alone is simple to use and is highly dependable in terms of sending your precious documents in the form of jpg or PDF formats anywhere via email or other forms. Superb application.👍👍.

I've been using this app for years. Works great, got all my scans back since I have an account with them. Making pdf from captured documents is a breeze. Very intuitive. Still works great on me pixel 7

Forced to pay for an entire year's worth of service! They won't issue a refund. If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. Don't download this app. There are better versions that are available for FREE. Once more, I've never purchased the full version. EDITED: Initially, they said no refunds were available. They swiftly repaired it after I gave them a 1 Star review and branded them crooks. 4 stars for the manner they've put up their free trial.

Use it for our small business as a portable scanner and it handles everything we could possibly need! The only two things I miss from actual scanner machines are 1) no need to position/stabilize camera and 2) assuming scanner has this feature, the ability to feed multiple pages automatically. But for an app on the phone, this is as close as you can get to a physical scanner machine! And the device storage, sharing, and cloud storage capabilities actually make this app rival a real scanner!
