The application is great and all but why am I being signed out repeatedly like every 2 days? It's so inconvenient to log back in every other 2 days whenever I want to read an article, work on it!

This app has been my go to app for news for some time now. Suddenly, it is asking me to "sign up" to continue to use it. A really stupid way to get a customer to get their news elsewhere. I know I will. Unplugging thus app.

I have spent a good week or two trying to get use to the redesign... but... I hate it. It is such a gaint step backwards. I guess I understand why they did it... the constant scrolling leaves much more space for adds, and they are hoping to get you to spend more time on the app. But, I find myself searching for news now, rather than being presented it. such a miss understanding of their target audience. bring back the efficiency!!!

Information and content are good. I have an issue with the markets watchlist where the ticker symbol doesn't display - it mostly defeats the purpose of the tab.

Usually an excellent source of information and mostly politically unbiased. App is very user friendly. However, I've noticed that since the last update, my chosen feeds are being reset to default after closing and reopening the app. This is pretty frustrating, as sport seems to be given priority over science news. That's stupid. If that could be patched soon, that'd be great.

Used to be 5*, the almost perfect news app. But now it's lost its compactness, loads of scrolling, to fit big pictures into the preview that I don't want and I don't need. The best things about it were the efficient "the wire" feed and the widget, both are gone now. Those actually made the app great for a "busy lifestyle". On top of that I experience stability issues on my admittedly a bit old sgs5.

What happened? From a streamlined, easy to use and easy to see the important news, it transformed into this mess of everything everywhere. I open the app and the first few tabs are full of "Your news feed is not available". Thank you, good to know. Endless loading screens. Also, the new design is terrible. Everything scrolls everywhere. Up, down, between images, between tabs. Some pages have image sliders in them, some don't. When I scroll, I never know what I'm going to get. It feels unstable

I uninstalled this app two years ago after the update, as it kept crashing. Now in 2021, it remains as glitchy as ever. Choosing a article frequently brings me to the completely wrong article somewhere further up/down the page. It is as if the UI forgot where I stopped on a page and decides to launch something else instead. It's near impossible to use. Also, would it be possible to disable images on the main feed, but not in the article itself? Your only option seems to disable images entirely.

In terms of journalism, this is my go to news source along with Associated Press. The GUI is clean and supports dark mode. The issue though it can get quite buggy, for example if I click on a particular story on the feed, it sometimes open a random story and the only way to fix it is to close the app. There also too many ads in the app. Would be great if there was the option for a paid version without any ads

as far as content goes, it's great. as for the app, it's a mess. I installed it yesterday and poked through the settings. I turned off video autoplay, but the videos keep autoplaying. it's annoying. today I opened the app to read the news and all my selected categories reverted to default. I also tried the night mode, but it doesn't work properly. the articles are displayed correctly, but the suggested articles have a light background. hope all these can be fixed.

Clear, sounds impartial. Sometimes will not connect, though. Addendum 8/2023. Excellent read. Second class App. Does not connect reliably. Too bad...

I used to check this app many times each day as my source for balanced world new. The app used to have a wider variety of news and sports stories in the main feed, but Now, its mainly business, market and energy news, which are not my areas of interest.

They have done a reasonably good job of curating high quality, unbiased news. This reduces coverage of emotional topics and increases focus on the ones more important in the long run

This app is SOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOW, I thought it had frozen up. I was even able to make a cup of coffee before it loaded. Please fix it.

Great looking app. Everything is sleek and follows the same color scheme. One comment is that whenver I open a news story it opens in chrome, but still in the same tab. I wish it just opened the text inside the app without chrome. Thanks!

Good reporting but, the app itself is a glitchy mess. Countless times I have been signed out and told that my correct password is invalid, forcing me to change it everytime it does this. I would give this app 5 stars if it wasn't for this repeating problem.

Update: Now getting 'article limit' IN THE APP. Bye Felicia! Huge flaws: No ability to move application to external storage. I interpret this as complete and deliberate disregard for users. No way to launch the app while attempting to read an article on a web browser and being lied to, saying I already "reached my article limit" despite never reading any articles and having the app. They also engage in clear both-sidesism.

Good app but no way to automatically go to a specific news e.g. sport on opening. Although video autoplay is turned off in settings, videos automatically play. This means I have to pause the video on every page. Very frustrating and potentially expensive, depending on your mobile data limit.
