All my local radio stations were on here which is cool but the amount of ads is a little overwhelming and for some reason the app will just randomly close itself while I'm listening in the background which ruins the experience. I have a Galaxy S7 so I dont know if it's an issue with my phone or the app but I have used other music apps in the past and never had this issue before.

Very good app with so many stations of each different genre music that it's impossible to have only one 'favorite' station...because there's so many more that you haven't listened to...yet! Music lovers will enjoy the time they spend on this site. Music is internationally loved and therapeutic to the minds of many. Enjoy everyone!

myTuner Radio free v update: forces ads on you FAR TOO FREQUENTLY. and it's very obvious those ads use a LOT of memory & cpu resources! Plus of course, you then have to listen to the ads that are built into the station's you're listening to. It has some of the radio stations I was looking for but is missing quite a few others. Also, it will NOT run without starting the Chrome browser for some crazy reason! And if you force close the Chrome browser the myTuner radio app stops working!?!

constantly cuts out and shuts down at key moments I'm trying to listen to. ads play randomly over the actual program I'm trying to listen to. ads plays in the beginning but won't go back to the program so I have to reload it and then sit thru another ad. this looped 5-6 times over on several occasions. I do not suggest this P.o.s. app what so ever. would give it 0 stars if I could

I discovered this app later than the others, but it's now my favorite. Loved the sound quality of the radio streams. The UI overall looks great, with well crafted icons and graphics. This app also offers "Variety" in its lineup of stations and podcasts, languages and world regions. It's highly recommended.

It's better and better. In testing, I found stations that the app claimed were no longer extant. Song identification is late or left blank sometimes. I'm trying to identify what effects are independent of a concurrent network issue. But, I find it quite robust, flexible, with a multitude of choices.

Found it on a long road trip a few years ago. 5 STAR LOVE for years UNTIL... The danged app DEMANDS to run in the background. It strains and drains my phone; overrides notification blocks and revises my listed Faves. Some stations/podcasts don't even load! I have uninstalled it. Reinstalled it and tweaked the settings. It's a mess. Boooooo to the updates! UPDATE; STILL trying to run in the back ground. No bueno!

This app contains commercials which you are not able to immediately back out. the ad will continue playing for 15 to 20 seconds and not allow you to listen to the program or radio station you desired. I don't get all the programming I'm looking for in iHeartRadio but I don't have to put up with these capturing ads. The adds occur when any station is first started. If i need to get rid of the add, I stop I need to stop ituner and restart. I haven't the same issue with the individual radio apps.

Crashing and draining battery faster then any other app installed on my SG Note8 and note9 phone's. Even after it crashed, it was still running in the background, being a battery vampire. needs more search options like being able to search language, genres and locations, all at the same time. like the app, but does need improvements..

Best radio and podcast app in my opinion, got fed up with iheart ad overload when you wanted to change stations and looked for something else. So glad I found myTuner, it has everything I was looking for and more, can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great radio and podcast player app.

I'm listening to a radio station with ads and then the app interrupts the radio program to play an ad! Then my phone gets a notification and plays a notification tone which interrupts the app, so it plays another ad before returning to the program! Edit: Thanks for your response, but your explanation is FALSE. The station never cuts off a radio program in the middle of a thought to play an ad and then return to the program already in progress, causing me to miss part of the program; that's you!

The app has to be restarted frequently, especially when pausing. Also, content search could be better. I have to search for particular Channel several different ways before I find it. Of course, some of the station's I'm looking for are probably not covered with this app. But, overall it's easy to use and it works fine for me.

Lots of stations too many ads clogs up the app. Sometimes you can't close the ads they take over and you can't close them. I understand apps need ads for revenue but this was a bit too much. If you can't close the ad or it doesn't time out then the app is crippled and useless which in this case is bad since the app actually looks good when you can get to it.

I like this app. It does sometimes refuse to start a stream and I need to reboot the phone. It may be due to another app that is blocking access to the mixer. Perhaps Plex? Also, some streams are only in one channel, like KBBR. It would be nice to have a mono mode so it goes to both left and right.

Straight forward radio 'tuner' emulation. Streams many stations well. Usually buffers and keeps signal smooth and steady. Better than the well known competitor in this category. Allows calls to come through and automatically resumes. Has lots of podcasts that come up easily. Even a very modest EQ - so often needed - but rarely included. Best choice in class.

I love myTuner! I had been using TuneIn for ages. For a year now, I have Android Auto. I was considering an iPhone (a dying closed architecture technology) just to improve my car experience. Then, I tried replacing TuneIn with myTuner. Not only do I love myTuner, but my whole car experience is now very good! TuneIn is so buggy. it was killing my car experience. No commercials and no ads for three bucks (optional). I have stations back that TI had dropped. Very happy

I see this app is going down the same road TuneIn and countless others have gone down. trying to appease too many tastes and forgetting what got them popular. myTuner was/is a great app to find alternative radio stations from a large arena. as vague and simplistic as that sounds, myTuner is great at doing it. I hope they keep it simple and stripped down of all the other fluff TuneIn and the rest are busy chasing.

Like the variety of stations on the mobile app, but the UI looks very unpolished. Was switching from TuneIn because TuneIn doesn't have a watch app available, so I had high hopes for myTuner, but was very disappointed I couldn't log into my account to sync my favorite stations. I'm also disappointed that there is no search functionally on there, which means I have no way of listening to my stations on the watch app.
