the map navigation experience has deteriorated over the past year. You can barely select businesses that are reasonably apart on the map. nearly impossible to pinpoint businesses that are close to each other. The app also literally go out of the way to push sponsored restaurant. It is really confusing when you are searching in a specific map area, and yelp pushes you something 60 miles away.

I still use yelp whenever I get hungry, but it changed, crashes and closes itself. Edit (9/15/23): Every time they make a change, it gets more problems. I can't send/receive yelp links anymore! Y'all need to fix this before people stop using this altogether. The crashing, not filtering recent media, pages not loading at all. My sister uninstalled, reinstalled, signed out, signed in, still had problems & we're all on wifi. She is using a new Samsung S23 Ultra, so it's not phone problems. C'mon!!

it has been a Rocky road using yelp. I get a lot of messages that are scams they give me the same message that they have already tried. when I have leads I contact them and it doesn't seem like the messages go through I never hear back from any of them and I'm constantly getting pressed to pay for ads. I don't feel like the ads are going to change anything because I can't seem to communicate with customers. I also found an old profile with wrong information on it and it still isn't fixed.

Yelp has always been a scam, exploiting businesses to release good reviews. I only downloaded the app because it's necessary to join a restaurant wait-list. I'll admit the restaurant wait list feature works well, but the app makes it seem like an account and real time location data access are required when it's not. All of this could have been done on the website. Update: dropping to one star because the wait-list function doesn't work anymore on my phone. Hot garbage.
Pivot The Dox
This is one of the worst apps i've ever had to use (Second only to repfirst2). I o wanted to find the description of a place because i only saw a preview on the website. When i click "show more" it brings me to the app where i can only see reviews. I dont care what other people think, i only wanted to see the description but it doesnt exist in the app. So now that my one-time use is done its time to uninstall this pos.

Moses was great! He was straightforward and gave me answers I could trust. The entire experience, from first phone call to having my check in hand (and cashed), happened in the blink of an eye. But I never once felt rushed. I spent less than 30 total minutes at their office. I would DEFINITELY use them again. Thank you!

Glitches! Pages overlap when using Android, especially when writing a review, this has caused me to scale back on reviewing because it's not worth the headache. Simple tasks like copy and paste are painful on this application. Secondly, Yelp used to be a reliable source, but now it's compromised, integrity wise. Reviews are filtered too much, especially if a business pays yelp to advertise. This platform used to be so real and interactive, it's changed for the worse.

They did a great job installing my crown molding, and doors. They even helped me with the design, and was very patient with me when I made a lot of last minute changes. I don't have a truck, so they purchased all of the materials for me, which was lovely. And they did it all for a great price!! Best part is that they are very knowledgeable in all things home improvement, so they were able to answer a lot of my random questions about my house. I will definitely continue to use their services!

Absolutely annoying how trying to view photos from the website prompts the Google play page for Yelp to launch, with only the options to install or open, and open just launches the app without pulling up the restaurant. I think this was my sign to just stop yelping.

Overall, it was a very nice dining experience. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the food tasted very good - there are many dish options that would likely offer something for everyone. Since the pandemic and most buffets have gone away, it was nice to get this experience once again.

I called in needing to replace two tires and they were available to help within 30 minutes. I was able to wait inside while they serviced the vehicle and was out the door within an hour. The employees were polite and very helpful. I recommend this place especially if you're looking for friendly, fast and no hassle service.

App keeps saying Yelp is having an issue. To please try again later. When I try to respond to a message, it says "Yelp is acting funky right now. Try again later." I've deleted the app and reinstalled. No fix. Emailed tech support and waiting for them to correct the issue. Been like this for over 8 hours now.

It was mandatory to download the app to confirm a reservation. There is no reason whatsoever this shouldn't be able to be done in browser. I'm very angry they force the download down your throat like that. If it was offered like any normal business I might use it, but literally forcing users to download your app instead of being able to use the site is really awful. 1 star, wish there was an option for zero.

This app has absolutely no way to get support from a actual person. My problem is it won't let me do anything like add a picture because it says that the location is off but it is on for every app. I ask what I can do and it gives me first "how do I change my yelp push settings" the only relevant one is make sure that my location is on. Support is absolutely a joke. Try to use quotations ( " ) and you get ( " ) What the heck is that? No way to ask for help from whats so ever

Not sure why the Facebook sign in option was taken away. I have problems getting into my account now because my account didn't have an email linked to it. I've been dedicated to writing reviews and is elite as well. It's a shame I cannot log in on my new phone. EDIT: Yelp support is amazing and helped me get access to my account. Great support and great app!

Garbage app. Can't login no matter how many times I clear the cache or re-download. Crashes constantly and is practically unusable but their web version on mobile forces you onto the app. Been requesting a new password link to try and login that way and they never send it.

Added my first review. Accidentally added it to the wrong establishment and deleting it was a nightmare. Had to find a way to delete the review, and then it wouldn't let me. Then I finally got rid of it and had to go delete each photo individually. Won't be contributing again. Only redeeming feature is the ability to join the waitlist before you get to a restaurant Check on offers are a scam. They make you start a review and then don't tell you when the offer is valid until after

Whether you get yourself styled by Flo (Owner) or by Linda, you will not be disappointed. They are both very professional and they provide a friendly atmosphere. They listen to what style you are looking for, and they work their magic! Braids, Weaves, Wash, etc. - whatever you need, they can provide. Each time I leave Magic Fingers Hair Salon, I look and feel beautiful! Keep up the great work!
