With the last app update I get logged out multiple times a day and it causes quite a delay having to log back. I have been missing alerts and unable to monitor package deliveries with theft on the rise. This has been ilongoing for a few weeks now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and checked phone settings for "cache clearing" and it still happens. Not sure if it's an android issue, but I've never had this problem before.

It's okay, I bought ring spotlight camera because I thought it would be better than the other cameras I had. Unfortunately it doesn't pick up everything. During the day it picks up things I don't want and at night it doesn't pick up anything I need. I have an individual trying to break into my car but the camera doesn't seem to pick up the action. I have tried everything re adjusting the camera, the zone areas with no luck. I need to find a more reliable camera that works when you need it.

A great app and absolutely excellent products. Ive tried quite a few other doorbell and security systems, some quite a bit more expensive than my Ring gear, and none have the quality of Ring. not only is the quality amazing its also very customizable, easy to use, and any extra protection plans are very very affordable. If you want to feel safe and dont want to spend $400+ on other home security THIS is the way to go. They even offer plans for continuous security monitoring that is wayy cheap!

I'm not sure what the latest update was supposed to do but it causes nothing but problems. More than half of the videos when you try to open them say that they can't be viewed. What good is recording if you can't play back the video? Very unreliable unfortunately. I see I am not the only person to have this issue and I really hope IT addresses and fixes the issues ASAP.

the service is ok. The product is too expensive, considering it starts to break down within just a couple of years. It obviously wasn't designed to be used outdoors, which is hilarious considering it's supposed to be a home security system. Ring isn't worth the start-up costs, especially when you consider jow rapidly you have to start replacing the overpriced equipment.

The last update screwed it up. When I try and look at the last motion it, jumps backwards to the day before. On all of the cameras. Motion zones are messed up as well. When you try to set up motion zones on one camera the view is about 2/3 of what the live view is. It cuts about 1/3 of the top off. It only does it on one camera, and just recently started doing doing it.

Ring is at it again. My live video has started freezing again. Worked great for quite awhile with no issues until an update. I have had it with this company. They just cannot keep things running smoothly. And instead of fixing the software issues they just blame the customers' WiFi networks. I've been with ring for several years and have experienced the same issues over and over. They also gave their employees full access to all recordings which were stored unencrypted. Stay away from ring.

The Ring video door bell we have on Android is very unstable. It is always late spotting someone at the door. They are usually leaving by the time notice is given. We have to open the app twice to get the video part to show. On the up side, video quality is very good, and sound is ok. After the new update, it now has issues with the wifi, even though the router is in the very next room.

When it connects it's works good. That's the problem, you never know when it's going to connect. Open app, refresh, close app do it over again until it finally connects. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to connect and by then you don't need it. Internet isn't the issue because I have high speed Internet and nothing else has issues connecting, Nest, Google Home ECT no issue.

Had my alarm go off for 10 minutes. I didn't get a call from ring. Total waste of money for the extra monitoring. They won't call you when it's important. Also sensors randomly go offline, and you have to manually hit the button because it couldn't possibly reset itself. Connecting to the ring sucks. Wish I would have read review before buying.

Works as it should, I haven't had any issues with it functioning thus far! The only downside is the yearly cost! While not bank draining, it's really ridiculous that we even have to pay for this, I don't even store any videos, I delete any videos that may occur when someone rings my bell after each occurrence. I'm thinking about a new system once this billing year is over, which is coming up! After reading MANY reviews, it seems VERY CLEAR that when any issue arises, Ring blames the customer

Works pretty well but the problem is the number of steps it takes to switch between live view screens in landscape mode on different cameras. I wish you could just swipe left and right to see the different cameras but instead you have to go all the way back to the home page (through portrait mode) then go all the way back into the next camera. It takes six taps to do something that intuitively should take one swipe.

Unstable, Takes long time to respond!. Will indicate lights are on when they are off. If you try to turn on a light, you have to exit and open the app multiple times for the cameras to register the command of turn-on or turn-off lights. By the time I try to answer a doorbell ring, the person is already gone. one glitch afyer another. It's very frustrating. To pay an annual fee for the cameras and the app works horrible! Use to work great the 1st year.. Now it's just frustrating.

Works some of the time. Most motion alerts seldom record and live view rarely works. Wifi range is terrible. When I do get a recording I only catch the tail end of the action. Settings have been adjusted appropriately and still not getting what I need. Video quality of cameras is less than desirable for the latest version. Save your money and go with something else. I'll be looking elsewhere.

I do love it but it don't always alert me when you walk pass it. It doesn't load when you get an alert fast enough someone can break in and take what they want and be gone about the time it starts to work. PLEASE FIX THE ISSUES!!!!! I also have issues with seeing footage unavailable and no one can help saying that you only can see it when motion detected which is a lie these issues just started. As soon as I find another one to replace I'm out

Absolute trash. Had issues with our wifi and had to change providers. When we tried to log back into the main account, had to reset the password. Once we did that, it sent an email with a verification code, only it didn't send a code. It sent a message saying someone was trying to get into our account.... uh yeah! It was us. Told us to log in from a device that had been previously used, did that. That didn't work either. Done. Went in the trash. We had it for years.

(0 stars) This company does NOT know how to design software. My greatest hope after doing any management task, after it *finally* works is to have a little to do with this software as possible. It was a pain setting up the device, when it seemed like each person had to "set up" the device, and it was a pain to link a new phone to it too. Between the app and the website, Execrable.

Video quality is not something to be desired, when they used to have the feature to see what's moving at your door, the video quality, always at first, was like 360P or lower, eventually after halfway through the playback it would go to 720 or 1080p. Not sure if they always didn't have the feature that had playback or they eventually took it out and made it a subscription feature now. Not sure why they thought that was a good move... also the ring almost never lets me know when someone rings it
