It will not show that I'm receiving a call, or give me a notification I missed a call until I have the GoToConnect screen open and I refresh the app. My clients end up calling my cell phone because they can't get in touch with me. Also I get the ringtone of the call coming in but no screen to answer or mute the ringing. All notifications are turned on and active. A suggestion for do not disturb: allow people to schedule a consistent do not disturb. For example only ring m-f 9am-6 pm.

I've found quite a few bugs with this app. Frequently when making calls the ringing continues even after the recipient has picked up the call. Less frequently but more than I'd like, the ringing will continue even after I've ended the call. Also, I've found that in receiving calls the app will briefly ring but the call goes to my voicemail without further rings giving me time to answer.

The gotoconnect is in consistent on experience. I have 85 users using the phone system, and the majority of people are having issues. Constant dropped calls while on a fiber based wifi connection. Dropped calls on a stationary LTE mobile network. We have contacted GoToConnect support several times they make a change on the backend and it works for a few days then we are back to dropped calls. Getting a hold of the sales rep is impossible. Considering switching over to another phone system

This is an updated review and adjustment from 3 to 2 stars. While the app has come out with some updates that have help stability a bit, the app is still not past an alpha state in terms of day-to-day usage I have had to silence calls coming from go to connect because about half of them will ring endlessly until I press and call. We also use go to connect in the office and we rarely see updated text messages until we restart the program on Windows 10. Hope to see a megafix soon

Keeps missing calls even tho I'm stabbing the answer button. Does not update call info. Makes calling back a missed call difficult. Bad at taking priority over other apps currently running. Takes an age to switch. Placing a call takes forever. Click the number and put the kettle on. All in all this app is far worse than ones I used years back. Awesome job.

This app will not ring calls through to my phone unless I have the app open. Once the screen goes off, its as though I've exited the app. It will not run in the background, no matter what I've tried. I've missed a ton of incoming calls as a result. All the settings appear to be correct. Reading other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. I wish my office used a different service all together. For the record, I'm using build 651 at the time of this review.

I am editing this review to drop it from two stars down to one period the app is that bad! The sad part is that we are resellers. I'm going to have to talk with my partner about finding another service to resell, one that won't make our customers hate us every time they have to interact with the mobile or desktop app. Both are terrible. As its been a long time i feel the bugs still haven't been addressed. Its a good app but it has so many bugs. Just now i tried to send a message and it would scroll but not allow me to open/send a message. Doesnt always call through on cell phone. Cant end a call on hold and more. Its been a long time and it hasnt been fixed so i felt it was time to leave a review 😔. I need a working app to handle my clients effectively. Not sign me out randomly without telling me so i miss calls.

It's nice to be able to answer my business phone while on the road. However, the app typically rings a full 30 seconds after the line starts ringing. Often times the call rings half a time on the GoToConnect app and then goes to voicemail. It also logs me out every week or so and stops ringing altogether until I notice something's wrong and log back in. Lost opportunities when your business depends on answering calls.

Jive Mobile was bad but this is far worse. When I'm on a regular cell call and a Jive/GoToConnect call comes in, my phone starts ringing at full volume (while I'm on the phone), converts my cell call to a speakerphone call, and won't let me decline the incoming call. Then, I can't switch my call off of speakerphone. NOT working on a Samsung S10. Uninstalling and hoping for an improvement in the future. Very frustrating that I can't effectively get notified of calls coming in for our business.

Extremely unstable app. If I am connected to wifi when o get a call, I have to disconnect before answering so the call doesn't drop seconds later. Issues answering 8/10 calls as the app rings while on silent or will ring but doesn't pop up or open so you can answer the call. Its unfortunate, I felt that the Jive app (70% reliable) just had its major kinks worked out before switching to GoToConnect. I have to use the app for work (sales) so I dont have a choice but really disappointed.

This app hijacks all audio channels and I can't adjust volume of any of them until I force close the app. Because of said issue, I have missed my alarm numerous times this week since when it hijacks the audio, it seems to play it all almost the lowest possible volume and again there is no adjusting the volume at all unless the app is forced closed. The app is also very unreliable for actually reviving calls. Most times I have to open the app to see I've missed multiple calls.

Testing out the app during my trial with GoToConnect. Mostly pleased. Love the fluidity and notifications. Things I noticed immediately: 1. The app pulls contacts from all accounts - phone's internal, Google, WhatsApp, Duo, etc. This results in lots of duplicate phone numbers, all listed as "Other", some have 3-4 records. 2. When opening a contact, only a Call button is displayed - need one for texting, too. 3. Would be useful to paste a copied number into the dialer. 4. Displaying/sorting by last name is a business standard, yet missing. 5. In the messaging window, it would be much easier to follow the conversation with 2-side format (left and right as common in all messaging apps). 6. Since this is a business-oriented app, call disposition codes and notes should be assumed to be available after hanging up. 7. It annoys that to listen to a recording, you'd need to go to the web portal and then few more steps, as opposed to playing right off the call log. 8. There is no way to aggregate all calls (ideally, SMS, too) on one list for a given contact, like in a history of that contact. Looks like this is a fairly new app in active development so I hope such things will be addressed soon. I want to love it, not just like it!

It was perfect before the update. Now it does not ring at all and my incoming calls are declined. I followed the troubleshooting advice and it worked for a few hours then back to the same. I have tried it on my Samsung Galaxy Note9 phone and my Apple IPad. On the pad it only works if it is the only window open. Otherwise my calls are declined. This is unacceptable for a business app. We depend on it to be there for customers and each other. The worst part is being unable to get human help.

Worst company app ever. Often doesn't allow me to answer calls. Calls will come up on screen but the "answer" button doesn't work. No way to block or filter calls in the app, and choosing DND blocks calls to my office phone, too. App isn't connecting to voicemail and doesn't have a feature to call voicemail either. No way to transfer calls in the app.

Needs so much added to make it remotely comparable to competing phone system mobile apps. SMS/MMS, team chats, manage your extension setting, time of day/location rules, call flip between devices, etc. Updated review 1/6/21 App has improved as of build 814. the call flip feature is quite awesome! looking forward to calling over cellular. Messaging has also improved a bit. there are times though when I will see a notification for a message on this app, I tap on the notification to view the rest of it, and it is gone. it appears if you read the message first on your mobile device, the message is gone for the PC and Web apps as well.

I don't think I've seen worse app recently. Instead of calling within the app, it dials from your regular phone. Once you hang up, all you get is a black screen. Enough for me to delete it right away and see how bad it is, not to use a more harsh word. Forgot to add, if you start calling and disconnect, you will see a pop up showing initiating that will stay there until the app is on. Useless app.

Worse than Jive Mobile. Too many issues to get into but here are the two main problems: 1. Keys are not recognized by many menu directing systems (example: "press 1 for xxx" does nothing). 2. There is no way to hang up or access the keypad during a call unless I swipe to go to the Android Home screen, then open the app, and then tap the live call icon. Lastly, if the developers read this review please don't instruct me to contact you about the issues -- I JUST DID. FIX YOUR APP.
