Anyone can join a meeting on Meet via an invitation. However, some capabilities are available only to Google Workspace customers.

The new layout has made unnecessary changes and made some features( like the easy access to the list of participants and the chat box) hard to reach. There is also lot of wasted space around the video, the video doesn't consume the full screen, even on landscape mode. This is a step backwards, and thus this is not the way. Please fix.

My mic won't work throughly. And it has a great effect on my study. Very very great effect. Especially this time pandemic where we prioritize online learning. I can't even have a proper recitation. I thought that the problem was on my mic, so I tried having a voice message on messenger and it works properly. Now I really know that gmeet is the one that has the problem. I wish you could fix this immidiately.

Overall really good performance. But sometimes the UI really confusing. I mean we can turn on and off camera in the floating screen is a good feature but if you make it too big, sometimes i turn on my camera without intended to do so. And my biggest suggestion is to make a confirmation message before leaving a call. Because i just literally dropped from a meeting because of unintended touch to the red button.

It's good and all, sometimes the voices overrun each other. But the worst thing, and i can't believe it's even a thing, you can't control volume. Not even individually or generally (on my phone at least). I have to hang only 1 ear plug on the outside of the ear (not even put it in) to be able to withstand a whole meeting in this app. I can't believe such a basic feature isn't in this by default. If it wasn't clear, on phones (at least mine) the minimum volume is insanely loud.

The older interface was very convenient and easy to use. But after the recent update the interface is totally inconvenient. The screen is totally unreadable and the messages cannot be easily accessed and the members section is pretty inconvenient too and it's becoming harder since I have classes going on through this app. Please revert back to the old interface as soon as possible. Thanks!

The previous user interference was the best. It was very convenient to use. The new user interface has lots of problems The screen size has been reduced because of the participants list. We can't see the presentation by our teacher on the full screen as we used to do in the older version. The most disgusting problem is that, whenever someone joins or leaves the meeting , notification comes on the screen which can't be swiped and removed. We have to wait until the message goes.

I started using this app from this year for my online classes. The before version was a little better from the updated one and that was more easily accessible. I even like it now too. I also face some problems during my online classes. Sometimes I cannot see the presentation, sometimes my video doesn't work, sometimes the screen gets blurred, etc. But still the app is good I like it's new background features. Keep it up. Thank you.

Ever since the pandemic, our school has been using this app to do live lecture sessions. It's a great idea but there could be some improvements. Like for one, if we're presenting a video for reportings, and sharing our screen, the audio from the video will not be heard by the one watching it. Bummer. Plus, it's not as smooth and clear as other apps with the same purpose, like zoom or whatever. Hope they improve this even more.

The latest update is extremely hassling. The original version was so much better and easy to navigate. This version is too fancy for its own good. It's infested with glitches, can't go on for a minute without the audio breaking or video turning into a white screen. Meet's simplicity was what made me love it more than Zoom. And now that simplicity, that minimalism has been quashed. The PC version, as simple as it is, is the best version. The old model was pristine, and it deserves 5 stars.

The latest update has been a headache when attending classes. The message box is difficult to access immediately. Also, as most of the classes are in landscape , I cant see the advantages of a portrait layout. It's nice to see dark mode incorporated into Meet. The previous layout was very intuitive and user friendly. Hope you'll take this into consideration. Thank you.

Edit: Thank you for reverting on the previous issue. It is fixed to an extent. When I am on Google Meet PHONE, every time someone leaves the meeting, the notification pops right in front of the text bar, rendering it impossible to type. Please look into it. The "left the meeting" should pop up somewhere else. On PC, the notification appears in front of the captions, blocking its view. That is also an inconvenience.

This app just gets worse and worse each time. Such a poor use of screen space. It's almost unusable from phone. Both in landscape and portrait mode while video is playing, they should give an option to hide and scroll through the participants of the meet. Also the chat box should be given right in front. "Raise a hand" function looks cool, but is almost useless as well.

It is a really nice video conferencing app. Everything is good. But from the past few days, the video quality has dropped significantly. I cannot make out anything in the incoming video. It had also happened earlier, but it was not happening for sometime. Now it had started again. It looks like a bug because both of us (sender and receiver) have good internet connection, but still it persists. In contrast when the sender is presenting, everything is good even the video presented through camera.

I use Google meet since 2021 for online class I mix it with Google classroom to share documents and stay connected with Haitian students. It's an amazing solution. Convenient, time saving, userfriendly. I just hope that they provide soon the recording option.

Hi! I am using an Android 12 phone and installed Gmeet. I can't change my background, but my other classmates can, on their android phone, since we are using this app for our online class. Wish you could make it accessible on more devices. It can be very useful, especially when using camera on public places.

I suggest a new feature. The host should be able to record the session and also give permission for tohers to record if they would want to since some people who use the app face network challenges that feature should be added to help keep records and also help those who missed have recap with the recording been shared. I'd also need help on how to make others co-host . Again, I'm still not Ble to record. It says the feature ain't available even if I'm the host

The app works great for me! I am a teacher and primarily use Meet thru GClassroom. My students have been able to easily learn the new features such as breakout rooms and backgrounds. My only suggestions are to please add a way to transfer over host controls to another teacher/participant and add host settings to turn on/off backgrounds/effects capabilities for students. Thank you!
