Used to be good, now it's not free. Don't waste your money on a premium version of a mobile app, just use something like clip studio paint on PC instead. The only reason I used this app was for doodling and now it's worthless. Edit: I don't care how much you think your MOBILE APP is worth it. It's still a MOBILE APP that will never be as good as actual drawing software

The app is exactly what it promises. Sketches improve as you practice and they are useful. A good source of amusement once you become a bit used to. As you keep sketching, new techniques dawn upon you. Even the eraser function can be used to edit shapes.

Great App! This app is so easy to use for quick sketches, and it has simple features that can be well utilized (a huge variety of colours and the accessibility to change the background with one tap) I used this app to do a quick ssketch of my room layout and since then have been using it frequently to do quick sketches 10/10 would recommend!

Great for doodling out quick ideas! My phone is old and doesn't do well with fancy apps so this app is perfect for me. My only real problem is theres no colour picker or option to import photos (but then again i haven't updated my app in a while so maybe it's been added??). Very good for simple little doodles :D

It used to be free, now it forces you to buy the pro version after the trial period expires. Uninstalled. All i want is just a simple and easy to use drawing app, i don't care about the "many improvements" the devs are talking about in the replies.

Nice. It's very basic—just a single variable-diameter "pen" tool on a solid background. (I hoped there might at least be a tool that made straight lines, so I could write some music with it.) But I suppose there are times when something that simple can be useful.

Before update this was a very basic doodling app, it wasn't amazing but does the job for a free app. Now after update it's now a 14 day free trial for a paid app. Im going to uninstall now and find an alternative. It's really not worth bothering with when there's so much competition both free and paid apps on the play store.

Ohh, I love this app. No ads, all plain and fun. If there was a functionality I would want the devs to integrate, will be the ability to zoom out and also an infinite canvas, you know.....Something which would allow me to scroll away from a previous drawing. Rest assured I really find the app to be great.

Yes, it is a drawing app, and it's not bad! But it doesn't have layers, which makes it difficult to draw the things I want to draw without messing up the drawing. I do enjoy how it's not difficult to use, and the colors are easy to switch between though. So in general, it's not the best drawing app out there, but it's good!

It's a pretty good app, But my problem is that the brush is hard to use. since the app dosen't have an accuracy level it's hard to correct mistakes and it goes quickly across the screen. also there are no lares. sketch lare, line art lare, color lare, shading lare etc. of course this app isn't meant for that though. Since it's ' Simple ' Draw. Everthing i brought up is kinda complex. it took me a while to figure out the lares. but since it's ' Simple ' Draw it's actaully a pretty good app! so yea

This app is exactly what this app says. A simple app for drawing, with a really simple interface and has all the basic things one needs to start drawing digitally, one basic brush with changeable colours and size, and a background with changeable colours and a zoom in/out option. Perfect for the basic and quick digital drawing experience!!!

Look, I respect what you guys are trying to do, and understand you just want to make ends meet, but forcing people to pay for the Pro version of a sketchpad app is kind of ridiculous. The idea of charging people who want to use the new features that the devs worked on is totally understandable. But to deny even the basic functionality that used to be free, that's not right in my opinion. I'm okay with the ads and only barebone functionality. I hope you'll reconsider your decision of forced Pro.

No experience! It's like all other Apps No even " get started" info. Seems it wants me to download a pic but I need a blank Paper because I dont want to edit I want to draw. For the life of me I cannot figure out why folks are making apps but refuse to provide any get started instructions. I loaded this and opened it... it said it was a paint pro app , but even a simple line is as thick as a type box on my keyboard. Insane. nearly all of my screen. And I have a fine point stylus.

Sudden update and now I have only couple days ad free? Why did you change it. It used to be 5 star. Deleted. I started using Sketchpad which same but remains ad free. Thanks for reply, but nope. Put it back to the way it worked for me for the last 2 years. Anyway I also installed PaperDraw which is superior. You should check it out.

This app was originally free indefinitely; there was no payment required. The latest update now forces you to use a 14 day trial before requiring payment. This payment would supposedly be a one off fee but I would not trust this developer to uphold that payment model as they've already shown they're willing to change their terms without notice or consultation. I would not be confident that further future charges won't be introduced to continue using the product.

Complete feature list: -select color from slider -change brush size -save image (three file-type options) -open image (not very well designed, but functional) That's it. That's everything you can do with this app. No ads, no frills, no future updates because this is the outdated version. It's perfect.

Works as advertised xD not sure what else to say. I use it to practice writing Chinese characters, so it's basically quick, rough sketches I do. As for anything above that, I'm skeptical of its utility, but I can't speak to it. If you want an app with minimal features, to be good at what it does, this one is a very good one.
I'm Me
Not having an undo feature makes it a hassle when you're trying to do something specific 😩. It's great if you only need an adjustable size painting point, color fill, eraser, and every possible color (can even choose with the code number).
