4 stars, it's a really good animating app, and you can share your movies/videos to people or social media! One problem tho, is that the limited amount of layers are 3, and Flipaclip Premium is a bit expensive for me. Another problem is that I suddenly get kicked out of my project and 1 frame is fully blank, like it was never drawn! Please fix this bug Flipaclip, thank you for understanding.

The app is nice and all but everytime I get a new phone, it makes all my previous projects into movies and I can't work on them. It's like it's wiped itself and all my past project I was actively working on have been moved to the Movies tab and I'm unable to work on them. I've used this app for 7 years and it happens everytime I get a new phone and transfer my old phones info to it. It doesn't matter that I have an account on flipaclip, they can't be worked on again and now I have to start over.

FlipaClip is awesome for animations and tweening. And I recommend it 100%. Ads aren't to much and it's not a pay-to-use app cause even though there are features with premium you can still animate freely :). One problem I'm having is importing audios. It says I can watch an ad but the "watch ad" option is eternally loading, is it just me or is the feature not finished yet?

So a few years back I had gave this a five star. Let me tell you the reason I deducted one, sometimes animation can come on favorite choppy and when you tried to download the movie The graphic quality decreases extremely. Not only that but when I try to use the fill paint tool it won't let me fill in certain separators so I don't have to use black lines to separate the whole entire image. The app is amazing for the most part though it would be much easier and more accessible if you could fix it.

Does not save photo on canvas. When taking pictures. You may be able to save landscapes from your device's gallery and then draw over it. But, I lost hours of art work when my background camera shot was lost. I was left with the layers of drawings and no background. The camera interface took the picture. But, it disappeared when I tried to save it. The developers responded quickly to this rating.

Very greats, I'm able to make wonderful animations with this software and I love that it's free. The only reason it ain't 5 stars is just cuz it can't solve all my life problems, which is perfectly reasonable because nobody can. 😄 It'd be absurd, yet holy if this thing just had (blending modes and) the sort of moving camera ability I've heard other animation softwares use. Edit: It has some blending modes now! Been like a year but I still enjoy those a lot :D

I love this app so much! It's hard for me to give it a bad rating. My problem is that this recent glitch appeared where when I try to watch an add to import an audio for free, it resets the app and takes me out of the project. I hope this isn't a bother, but can you guys find a way to fix this? Overall, the best animation app ever!!!

Fairly straightforward to use, and surprisingly versatile. What really sets it apart from your standard 2D animation app is the ongoing support! They have a show on YouTube, they regularly interact w/ users, a ton of tutorials, contests regularly to keep you challenged, they update regularly and seems they are very open to feedback. By far the best animation mobile app I've ever used, can't really think of any downside... well done, devs.

I love this app, I use this to make videos for my YouTube channel. It's easy, fast, and makes me able to animate anywhere whenever I want. Although recently an issue came across me where I can't even open the app, it stops and my phone asks if I want to clear the cache to make it work but even after that it doesn't open! Says it's a bug so I hope this has a solution.

Hey Flipaclip! Amazing app, and the brush updates are amazing! One problem tho... I can no longer record audio and put it. When I try to record it doesn't pick up anything, this started about 3 days ago. I have a video I intend to get out by this week and importing audio isn't working quite well either. My rating will go back to 5 after some assistance. Thanks :)

The app Flipaclip is easy to use has different brush tools and eraser tools, can add images and videos if you like and you can work on another animation without having to worry about saving the animation you just made but, I had a problem with the eraser tool, it wasn't working as well as when I started to use it because it was making the lines I wanted to erase still visible and it's no fun when I have to use the white brush color bc the paper looking background had a tiny bit of yellow in it.

So it's been a long time since I left a review here, but I do have something that I have concerns about. Every now and then on different animation drafts, while I'm in the process of drawing frames, it suddenly glitches and either deletes some of the progress I made or completely distorts it. This has been going on for a while now and I tried mainy things like deleting cache or even clearing storage space but it didn't work. Other than that though, the app does work as intended.

A good game, you should try it, but I finished one clip and then I can't enter the app, I almost thought I would because flipaclip looked like it was opening, but then I saw a drawing covering the whole screen, then crashed. Please fix this bug if dev is reading this. I tried 3 things, accepting all perms, turning off all apps, and even tried to restart my phone, nothing works and I'm on perfect wifi and internet. Edit: I tried again and it still doesn't let me in. Any fix ideas? Edit: it works

I love this app!! I have it on my phone and my iPad - I paid for it on both. I used it to draw my books and it's absolutely fantastic! You can use it as a canvas or for animation. It is 100% my favorite app, I use it everyday! It plays really nice with the Apple Pencil. Plus with the new brushes it definitely deserves 5 stars, I'd give it more if I could!! My only complaint is that it was originally hard to figure out. But the YouTube channel is really helpful and you can always look it up. :)

It's a good app! Only few things I don't like Is you get ads if you move the frames a lot, I never noticed this until I started paying more attention. 2 it's a little glitcy when it comes to adding sounds (but comperd to other animation apps that's free it's great) the biggest problem to look out for is the bugs you can avoid most ads by waiting 30sec-1min before you flip the frame. The app is easy to use once you get the hang of it plus there are helpful tutorials for that. Ok bye nowwwww!!!

a good app for animating with a lot of good features that allow you to import audio by watching an ad or subscribing to their subscription, but there is one reason that I gave it a 3. when I try to add more layers than 3 it'll take me to the flipsclip plus section. but for my friend it asks him if he wants to watch an ad instead. I don't get why I can't to do the same and it makes me very infuriated.

Edit (7/24/23): Latest update seems to fix brush lag! Eraser is still slow but I can live with it. Original Review: Would be nice to have the option to turn off the new brushes back. When animating, all the brushes are laggy, especially the eraser. It was fine animating with the four standard brushes. On another note, there seemed to be a delay in audio? It would be off-sync in the app but when you made a project a movie the audio would play as normal. I don't know if this was fixed recently so

I like this app, a lot actually, it's one of my favorite animating apps. One thing that does bother me is that there is no blur brush. It would be helpful to blur background scenes in my animations. Character rigging would also be helpful so I don't have to constantly draw the characters movement. But all that aside this app is actually pretty good 👍👍👍👍.
