I would like to change my review because I feel it is needed, before I gave the app I think 5 ☆'s, but I didn't realize at the time that there was a free trial and that after that trial a whole lot is taken from you. After the free trial is over you lose the ability to use layers and the different tools, Which I used the both of those every drawing, I don't pay for apps nor trials, and this is no exception, I am uninstalling the app and looking for another one. I hope this was helpful.

I've been using the app for a while and I am impressed by the features and the 'paint engine' which allows one to get reasonably good brushes that simulate most media types. One huge thing on my wish list is to be able to save to SD/Cloud Storage. This feature would allow me to start a piece on my phone and then continue to work on it at my desktop. This ability to easily wok the same file on devices is sorely needed. This could be accommodate by allowing Cloud Saves (OneDrive, GoogleDrive, iCloud, etc.). Keep up the good work.

I really like the diversity in brushes - I could play with the different textures and other effects All Day. I'm not able to do that though, because after a minute or so of testing mediums and finding what I want, the app freezes and I can't draw anything, then crashes altogether. I'm looking for a complement to my obsession with ArtFlow, but unfortunately it doesn't look like that'll be the case at this time, so I can only give out three stars. I'll change my rating if this ever gets fixed.

I paid for the full version YEARS ago, and have dealt with its many issues on several phones since. While it's been frustrating, I always stick it out because there simply isn't another app on the market with the capabilities of this one. However. It has been getting worse over time with the endless crashing! Some of my pieces I spent hours on, only for the app to crash completely every time I open the file, repeatedly doing this with specific files. It is so frustrating I could cry!

Good app but needs work. One of the biggest issues is the very shallow undo. Only 25 strokes. That's ridiculous for a drawing app and really affects the usability. It doesn't track the note 10 stylus until you touch the display so its hard to be precise even with the guides. The curvilinear grid doesn't actually match the curves you draw and there is no way to adjust radius. Lots of little things like this that detract from the usability. As I said, needs work.

There's way too much crashing and such for the full version to be $6+ However, the brushes are very nice and I enjoy them a lot. The interface is a bit confusing a lot of the time, sometimes I'll accidentally change it in some way and not know how to change it back. Overall it was a pretty good app, but fixes need to be made pronto before I consider purchasing 😕

This app is good, it has a lot of brushes and it is pretty easy to use, but the functionality is a disaster. I can only work on something for about an hour before things go wrong. The app crashes every 15 seconds (I timed it) and most of the time when that happens it corrupts the drawing I was working on and completely deletes it, or merges all my layers together. Either way making me start from scratch. This app would be awesome, but the crashing is extremely frustrating.

it is a nice app and love the variety of brushes and textures that are very nice. But one thing is bothering me, it is very slow. it crashes a lot. Every atroke if a brush takes a couple if aeconds to appear on the canvas. how can you draw something right when you can't see what you are doing? ***UPDATE:*** This app has improved a lot since last time i wrote a review. Now is back in my tablet as main artwork app. It works amazingly compared to the last review. Very well done, developers!!!

Nice app. Even with the basic tools they give you for free, you can do virtually anything you want. Now I can see my trash "art" in digital format! However, the app doesn't explain every little thing so you have to kind of explore and figure stuff out for yourself. Also, for some inexplicable reason it says I last edited my drawing in Dec. Somethingth 1969 even though I just finished the thing the other day 😐. Doesn't affect anything, though, so its fine. just a tiny, yet funny glitch.

I'll preface this review by saying that despite the issues it has, it's still by far my absolute favorite app for digital creativity, a gem of an app for sure and well worth the cost of the "pro version" or whatever it's called. That being said, frequently when I select a new color the layer I'm currently working on just disappears and I have to hit the undo button to get it back. Super frustrating and kinda worrisome. I keep looking it up and finding nothing helpful on the issue. 5/5 anyway.

[EDIT] This app was great for so long. I literally built my business using this program for my art- it was so reliable. Then it got buggy. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix it. Nothing did. I lost so much work thanks to this program being buggy. I honestly just want a refund at this point.[/EDIT] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ My main issue with this app is that it crashes almost every time I attempt to export a project as a PSD. It also crashes intermittently with regular use, though I've never lost work as a result. I've also noticed that your art gets more pixelated the more times you save your work and pick it back up later. Quality goes down, and that's... Not okay, lol. The brushes are to die for- super customizable and just... So, so good. If these bugs were fixed, it'd be perfect.

As someone who uses this on a phone, it's harder to use now than it was. The redo button is gone as far as i can tell, and the canvas creation is far less straightforward if you're making a nonpreset one. I do appreciate that the brush you were using and canvas size carries over, that used to bother me. The app works fine for me, it doesn't crash, however, there's more lag, and the layout is strange. it be very helpful if it was customisable, or if there was a seperate guide for phone layout.

This app is really good at what it's supposed to do (paint), and doesn't have too many features that are strictly Premium features. But there's a bug where I can't open the app anymore. It keeps telling me "Unfortunately, Painter has stopped", so I can't even open the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times, shutting down my phone, whatever. Until this bug is fixed, the app is useless to me.

This app is one of the best on Google Play. I've had it for over a year with no issues until now. Usually it's very reliable & even if I forget to save a project my progress wouldn't disappear when revisiting the app later on. Now saved projects are becoming corrupted. I was working on one and I saved several times at different points, but the app crashed and I lost over 20 minutes of progress — progress that I had saved seconds before the crash. Loved the app, but needs improvements.

If you have too much going on in your painting it has a tendency to freeze, At which point you then can end up with your peace either disappearing as a file altogether or scrambling up really bad to the point where you can't use it and you have to start over and so you end up with your device bogged down with multiple saves just to make sure you have a point to go back to with your art piece. Other than that the rest of it is legit I'd like to see more installable brush will brushes available.

I've been using this a lot lately for sketching on my tab s6. Honestly, out of the drawing apps I love how the brushes work in infinite the most. It has a lot of neat tools and the interface is easy to understand as well. Its glitchy though, it crashes sometimes and things randomly stop working if you have too many layers or things open, usually I'll have to restart it at least once if it doesn't crash itself. I hope they can make it more stable, I don't really want to use a different app!

Should have been good but failed. There is a bizarre canvas duplication that happens every time I touch my finger to the canvas. So whatever drawing was already on there appears twice, but smaller. Different from the Navigation window. There is no conceivable relation to this with the layers, and turning them on and off had completely different results each time. I'm proficient in complex programs, and this isn't one of them, leading me to believe it was either an annoying "feature" or a glitch.

This is from using it on my phone: Will crash once in a while. But, it is a good app! It meets the needs I want for drawing on the go! The pay wall is optional, basic materials as appropriate for on the go work. If you plan to do commission work, it is fairly decent for this regarding layering and material. But it is still better to get a tablet for larger scale works. A phone can only do so much, really meant to be for your leisure use.
