I've enjoyed my time buying and browsing the SHOP App. I've discovered some good deals and brands. I like the ease of use and simple layout. I also enjoy how seamless the experience can be when a particular website uses Shop as well for both signing in and placing an order. the rewards system is a very cool feature, and so I love the chance to earn cash back on my purchases. This is a frustrating app. While it does tell me when something arrived, it constantly disconnects from my Amazon account. When it reconnects, items display twice, once with the Amazon logo, once as an unmarked package. This requires that I mark everything delivered by hand. Also, everything on this page is crazy expensive, as is the shipping. More useless than useful.

Started out as a great app. I used it a lot. Now I have to log in to Amazon every time I open it up. Didn't use to be that way. Real-time tracking is also an issue. Might be another example of someone thinking something that works great can work better with this next update. Sadly, it does not, and now they can't/won't restore it to when it was working just fine. Not sure why I am keeping it at this point. 5/26/23-The problem with Amazon has not been resolved. I have deleted the app.

This app used to be great, but they've made several changes that downgrade the experience. The "Shop Cash" button that overlays the content in the app is really aggravating. Amazon tracking doesn't work, even even you can get Amazon connected for a day or so. Tracking doesn't seem to refresh like it used to, so you still have to go in and check packages individually.

It's a good app, but every single time you exit out, it disconnects from Amazon, and then I have to sign in again. Also if a shipment has more than 1 item half the time it shows up as 2 separate shipments and if one shows delivered you have to manually make another as delivered. Some shipments will show its coming from 1 state when it's actually another state.

Having all the tracking info is useful. But there's been instances where the "updates" in the app are incorrect. Had a package that changed from "expect tomorrow" to having unknown eta. A few times the delivered status was not reflected in the app. There seems to be a delay from what the app shows and what shows up with the actual tracking number. This still is the case with the recent update.

It's nice to have everything in one place, but the UI is pretty bad and there's also no option to turn off tracking for certain stores, like Amazon, where I already can easily track and get notifications on the Amazon App. It could be a great app if there was a way to tidy up the feed. Edit things have gotten better

This app makes shopping and tracking items really easy. I'm not sure what's going on but I have to reconnect my amazon account EVERYTIME I go to check my packages. It's not a big deal, but with it disconnecting like that I will not give me the notification of packages that have been shipped or delivered. I would love to give it a 5 star, and once this issue is fixed I will.

I cannot get this app to run on my Pixel 7 Pro. It opens, displays a connection error in an orange bar at the bottom of the screen with a retry button. WiFi or cellular network makes no difference. Cleared cache and storage, same error on WiFi or cellular. Tried reinstalling, same error. Would love to be able to use the barest functions to track orders, but no such luck.

So, this app is pretty simple. You order something... it tracks it. It doesn't record things outside of the US, but FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS... it follows em all! The only thing that might be detracting to some who are in the "NOW" generation, is that it does trail behind on notifying right away... but can you really complain when the service is 100% free? I can't, and I in fact, recommend it for a one stop package notification shop.

The app is occasionally useful. However, it's slow, full of bugs, crashes, spams my notifications and refuses to hold the 'no notifications' slider. It's suggestions for related items is actuallycool. It isn't smooth, or finished. It does introduce me to a grip of small manufacturers I'd never have seen otherwise. I'm a little bit torn.

This never syncs with my email or Amazon account correctly. I only ever get notified of something once it's delivered. As it's in transit it always says "awaiting details" or something like that. It's not worth it with the shopping ads and everything, really complicated things. I just want a streamlined experience when I log in; show me what packages I'm expecting, whether they gave shipped, where they are now, when I can expect them. Simple.

When this app works, it works. Sadly, that's not always the case. If you want an app that will send you update notifications, Shop works fine. But if speed is an issue, forget it. It could take hours before the app syncs with your package. You need to continuously re-connect to Amazon, the app is not compatible with Yahoo, and it tries to guess the carrier instead of telling you wich it is. It's a good app that needs improvement.

Wanted to track shipping on a package, had to download an entire app to do it. Because the only thing I wanted from the order info (the tracking number) was locked behind a third party app instead of sent to my email like most other sellers do, this just felt like a veiled attempt at data scraping/pushing ads for other products in my opinion. Two of my least favorite things that exist. I can see people get use out of this app, and I understand it's merits, but this was just annoying to me.

JUNE 21,2023 GOT WORSE:Used to love this app. And there have always been what I would describe as ups and downs with it's performance. It has terrible trouble keeping its connections with Amazon account, creating the need to reconnect to get updates. It does collect shipping information from the connected email and that helps. It seems now that it is much slower at displaying the data and it shows a number 3 on the icon that I can not get to be a number 1.Wish it would lose the shopping part

I agree w the other reviews that the app tries to sell me stuff- I just look at it like "Oh, these brands are offering these items. That's interesting". But I hate receiving the message my Amazon account disconnected so many times during the week. And how they sometimes can't find a tracking number or locate my package on route. It's been running into a lot of errors lately, and it makes me trust the app even less with every subsequent purchase. Which is a shame bc I used to really love it.

Used to be great, but for the last several weeks, I have to reconnect my Amazon account Every. Time. I. Open. It! So frustrating, and not super useful since I'm essentially back to manually taking everything without the updates. Other complaint is that it automatically adds stores you've purchased from to your "favorites" and I can't figure out a way to remove them. Including things I bought to try and hated. I'll never buy from some of these shops again but they're still there.

This is so close to being a useful app. It usually notifies of shipments but often loses track after that. If users could customize the tracking (e.g., add notes, update the status for delivered items, rename shipments, tag shipments for follow-up, etc.), it would be far more useful. As it is, now, it's very one-sided and user interaction with it is extremely limited.
