Too many fees & Instacart keeps your money for stuff missing. Being offer a credit to my instacart account is ridiculous. It means I am forced to place another order in order to get my money back. I already paid $100 a year for this service, plus your ridiculous "maintenance fees" on every order. As a disabled person that adds up to a lot of money. If there is an issue I should have been offered a refund to my debit card for any overcharges or money back for missing items. Walmart+ is better.

Our First experience using app was spectacular. We were staying in a hotel, it was a long Trek to the store with no car. And the bus is only ran every hour. The first person who helped us is very helpful, they were very responsive, they asked us many times when we were shopping about our preferences, asked us if we wanted to add anything else before they left the store. Our first time using the app was incredibly positive!!!

Overall, Instacart makes it simple to shop online and have your items delivered to your home. I'm disabled so I can't always go inside the market or other stores. They help you with your groceries. They also keep in contact when shopping for items on the list and if any changes need to be made. The only dislike I have is the prices on Instacart is a couple of dollars more compared to going to the particular store. All in all, I would recommend this app.✔️✔️

Really love the convenience. I wish you could add the tip after and base it upon the experience each time. Sometimes it's great and other times whoever is doing the shopping is terrible and probably doesn't care. No way the store was out of 80% of the stuff I ordered. Some people are great and communicate well. Others aren't

When items don't show up they refund the price but not the additional taxes, tip, and service fees you paid for the items. Additionally they claim free benefits for a subscription but then charge a service fee for every order placed. So if you order $100 dollars of groceries you are paying several dollars extra, on top of your monthly subscription fee.

Good way to save money. Half of your order is out of stock so your bill is reduced when the shopper refunds everything. I guess when the app tells you it's in stock it means the opposite. It's a good way to get exercise because I now have to find time to walk to the store in 90 degree heat to get all the items I'm missing. The app is good at false advertising. All the items says in stock then you get multiple texts saying it's not

I like to choose subs for each item 1-by-1. No such option in the app. I end up shopping on the site which's painfully slow & traps me in a "security check" loop for over 30 min. Then, the only option I have is "Do not Replace". Extremely frustrating. I don't like leaving instructions or texting the shopper. I like to keep it simple "Get this, if out get this, if out leave out". Can't do that. Also, tipping before getting service is ridiculous. Some shoppers are plain awful!

Less and less impressed. It keeps happening that the app tells me my delivery is on the way. I watch the map, trying to make sure I don't make my driver wait around.... Only for the app to then remove the driver from the map and send me a new estimate with the driver completely elsewhere. Today, I went to greet my driver three separate times. And each time, the driver vanished and the app pushed the delivery out. The experience is soured, to put it mildly.

Shoppers are horrible - I've never gotten a correct order since I started using this app. Missing items, incorrect items, subbed items without my consent, the list goes on. Customer service won't even help me get replacement items to cover what was lost, only credit my account. The shoppers manage so many orders at once that they deliver the wrong items or don't deliver items at all, and there is no way to recover it once the shopper is gone. Horrible user experience, horrible service.

This app's notifications are broken or something. Every time I click the notification the app opens and never loads, I have to then close it and reopen from the menu and then it will work. Every. Single. Time. It's pretty frustrating when you're at work and trying to have a conversation with a shopper. Fix it and this goes to 5 stars instantly. It's not a huge issue but it's so annoying enough to me I have to dock the rating until this is taken care of.

I've used Instacart periodically to buy groceries over the last couple of years. I'm a senior with average tech savvy ability. Even as it offers shopping options at a variety of stores, the app is clear and user-friendly. I've had consistently positive experiences with the delivery of items I've chosen. Substitutions of my first choice of items have been wisely selected, and delivery has always been on time.

I use the app frequently, but there's a bug that makes it frustrating to use. When I'm in the shopping cart, everything but the coupon-eligible items will disappear/collapse. I have to scroll up and down to get the non-coupon items to appear again, but they disappear again randomly, often while I'm trying to interact with something. It takes 5 times longer to check my cart and checkout. Also, stores need to get rid of reusable bags & use hemp/paper. Too many bags that will wind up in a landfill

Hard to use or edit cart. What should be an easy process of adding a previous order to your cart and then customizing it for what you actually need this time is made into a serious chore when every edit results in a "suggested items" popping up and hiding your order, and an ad for the Instacart credit card filling up half the screen at all times. Rather than being able to quickly order what I need, I have to deal with ads for things I have no interest in that interfere with usability of the app

Exceptional experience on the first two orders. Then it went down hill from there. I placed an order and it sat there until I contacted service about it to find out it had been stuck in the system with no progress due to technical issues. Got it fixed. This week same deal, stuck..and in spite of service contact it still has not been fixed. Waited all day yesterday and half of today trying to sort out this order, 3 or 4 service contacts and nothing so far. Was great until these issues. Fix this!

The replacement selection screen is completely useless because they image of the item that may not be available is too small to see, and the text is cut off. And the replacement items are likewise unable to be read or seen either. The spam screens at the end of the order process are quite the annoyance too. But it is better than nothing, and isn't completely terrible. I love that here on this page to rate it there is no "tell us more" question about "does it work well"

The service itself is definitely convenient, but the app regularly ends up in a loop where when I try to place my order it doesn't complete it but instead goes back to the cart. Over and over. And if I try to add a larger tip than the standard $4 it never escapes the loop, so I am forced to go with the default. That is screwing over the shoppers for sure.

I like how easy it is. During my surgeries, it was perfect. My only wish is they would update the items when they run out. Replacements aren't always l the best option especially when it's the reason you ordered in the first place. Most of the shoppers are great, but those few really dampen a dinner party. I ended up putting in the instructions " buy it like you'd eat it" lol it worked.

Love Instacart for many reasons. But I hate that I can't adjust the tip. Conveniently that part doesn't load as I'm trying to check out so I have to skip it and it automatically adds a 20% tip, which is fine, but I'd LOVE to have some control over that instead of having to bypass everything and wait until the end to see the total. It's especially frustrating for large orders at Costco...please fix this.
