Don't expect to be rewarded from this app. I eat at Taco Bell pretty often, and get plenty of points. The problem is that they start the clock on your reward the day you just stopped there. Unless you're eating there every day (in which case they won't have a living customer for long), the rewards expire before you can use them. I have literally never once been able to use a reward, don't bother with this app.

Contacted taco bell as they asked. They did not bother replying. Reinstalled app it's now worse an issue. They changed something now that the rewards often are not working. I'm not sure what they did, but I spend too much money at this restaurant to have this poor service. The app is alright, but the add button and the cart buttons are in the wrong spot. They need to be swapped out.

Worked great last year. Every update since then has added a new glitch. At this point I am no longer able to pay for my orders, so I guess I'll have to reinstall. Further, number of items on the menu have decreased and all prices have increased (chicken chipotle melt has more than doubled in price since last year), making the app prices barely worth it.

The app was working fine until the forced update today. Now it doesn't work at all. The pages keep freezing, the tabs (ex: "combos", "favorites") don't work. It's unfortunate because I use this app pretty regularly when I don't have time to pack lunch or make breakfast, it allows to me to order ahead and pick up on my way to work.

This app screws up all the time. Sometimes doesn't detect you're at the store, even though it says you've arrived, the store won't get the order. Greedy system charges first, instead of at pickup. So much trouble to cancel. Many times this causes issues. Selecting store is so unintuitive. It's getting a tad better, but one of the worst of the big fast food restaurants.

I was experiencing errors while trying to redeem rewards for quite some time after the update for the coin drop game. While it took quite a while for the issues to be resolved (after the coin drop game concluded), I was eventually compensated with the lost rewards plus additional rewards for the inconvenience. Otherwise, I usually have no problems with the app, and the rewards system is quite enjoyable to take part in.

Loved using the app, made ordering so much easier but for the past year every time no matter which card I try to use the ever so frustrating "oops we're something went wrong" message comes up. I've tried to reach out multiple times reporting the issue but I've never heard back and any and all rewards I've earned just expire cause you can only add them to a mobile order.

Fix your app please. Super buggy. And because one location, which is the closest to me, doesn't have large cups, they remove the option completely to get a different size. And because the thing I want is online exclusive, I cannot get it because I need to select a drink and the app won't let me choose a different size. And I can't order the online exclusive in store. Completely defeats the purpose. If I could give less than a star I would.

Ok, so I've only used it once, but it worked perfectly, and the people at the restaurant got the order exactly right. I hate lettuce, so my food is ruined if it ends up on anything, and all of the items came just the way I ordered them on the app. Will plan to continue using it to order and will definitely revisit this review if the app doesn't work right like all of these other people are saying happens a lot.

app is broken and wastes my time. I can confirm that it does not work correctly. orders often get a something went wrong error. The last time I tried to place an order the app said the closest taco bells were closed. I drove to one. it was not closed. For weeks redeeming a reward has been impossible "oops. something went wrong.". Currently my only reward that has not expired has the option to remove, but not the option to redeem. This app used to work well, but currently doesn't.

App is ok but their locations are always out of stuff and when you show up after placing your order with them, they don't have it and expect you the customer to change what you get. Inconvenient. Also good luck trying to get a refund on your credit/debit card. Their corporate is just as bad as local locations. Good luck trying to reach them.

ETA: DO NOT USE!!! Contacting customer service does NOTHING! Great for getting charged for undelivered items. Disputes can take weeks, if they get resolved at all. The app is also pretty poorly built, e.g.: Certain combos only allow for certain drinks, trying to remove items can be very glitchy, unavailable/upcoming menu items are commonly listed as available. Absolute nightmare, definitely worth the extra few bucks to just use a regular delivery service.

app is not doing very well. Half the time I log in to make an order there's "ghost items" in my bag. Some invisible items that are changing the total. Today it reduced my total by $50 and was telling my my order cost as -$30. Yes, negative, not positive. I finally got the whole thing cleared manually (because who ever heard of a 'clear bag' button). Tried to re-order but every time I go to checkout, it just says "oops, an error has occurred". This kind of error is frequent.

Constant card issues with this app. To a point where if I get an error message, I pull out of the parking lot and go somewhere else. The app will put pending charges on whatever card you use. And then not fully process in the app. You would then say, "Why not just order at the window?" Because I can't cash out my free rewards when the app doesn't work. I feel like it's intentional at this point, to keep people from actually getting free items.

App used to work great but after the updates I haven't been able to get an order to actually go through for months. "Oops something went wrong". The most frustrating thing is despite the order not going through it will still charge my account with a pre-authorization debit that takes 3-5 days before the money goes back into my account. Deleting the app, not worth the time and frustration.

It seems obvious that Taco Bell doesn't want my money. The app won't work. I try to sign in & it goes back to the sign-in page. If I sign in with the wrong password, it tells me. I've tried changing the password, but I never get the email to do so (the same email address since I first used any version of the app). I've rebooted my phone (many times - no change. I've uninstalled & installed the app - no difference. Now, the website tells me my password is wrong (since I tried to change it. )

I used to love the app because it made customizing things so simple. It's been buggy on occasion but now the "happy hour" drinks are listed as $1 in both the selection and on the subtotal page but on the final checkout screen they are suddenly $1.49 +tax, if you want to raise prices that's fine but don't be deceptive about it. Makes me wonder if there have been other up charges that I missed in the past.

If you manage to put in an order that's where the customer service ends. No way to cancel, no way to change the tip based on a bad delivery experience, they forgot 4 drinks and there is no way to make it right. There is a 'contact us' but the form is unintelligent and doesn't recognize your order. Contacting customer care also does nothing. Great app for giving Taco Bell money as long as you aren't expecting all the food you paid for.
