I went to the first Starbucks store Pikes Place Market in WA. I purchased a gift card to load to my account. The funds loaded, but the card photo is blank. I called and after 8 min was disconnected. I did a 20 min online chat and was told to call again. I called and after 13 min. I was informed that there is no resolution because that is the way they make those cards so they won't show a picture. She recommended I fly from CO back to WA and complain to the store, which is ridiculous!

App doesn't work at all. Can't sign in. New Samsung galaxy. Can sign in on the web, but won't let me use points or reload my card. Says "something went wrong on our end, try again later" tried Uninstalling and reinstalling. Restarting phone, nothing works.

Redeeming stars in person is a mess. When I click on it in the app and then order in person, my Stars should automatically be deducted. Instead I have to argue with the barista every time. I was told that you have to tell the barista that you're using Stars. I did that this morning AND explained the issue I've had in the past and she still did it wrong and then proceeded to argue that I did not have enough which was incorrect. Mobile ordering was turned off too.

Won't let me log in or reset my password. Not after the update, and they never send the password reset email. When I try a new email, it just says unexpected error. 1 star is to high of a review. Edit: I actually had to go outside the app to the mobile browser to fix it. Definitely a 1 Stat move.

so easy to use! why not order through the app instead of waiting in line to order and then waiting for your beverage. I feel like a VIP just picking up my drink at the mobile order counter. the only thing I wish the app had was a cancel button. sometimes, shoot happens. like you ordered from the wrong store or you made a mistake on the drink. maybe enable this for up to 2 mins after ordering. otherwise, perfect!

I updated the app now I'm not able to log on. I thought it was the password so I changed it and still nothing. It's sad that I have points and also a gift card with money saved on the app and I can't use it. Very frustrating!!!!!

Maybe I'm spoiled. I love the idea of ordering in advance with the app and 90% of the time it works fine. But sometimes I will order, arrive well after the pickup time listed, and then end up standing around and waiting... and waiting. Even when the store doesn't seem crazy busy. And my orders are not fancy: straight coffee with half and half, that's it. Sometimes it almost seems as though an order through the app gives them a reason to not make the coffee right away.

Constant login issues. This has happened on my previous Pixel before as well and now on my Pixel 8 Pro. For some reason there is always just system errors when trying to log into my account. Otherwise the app is fine, but why is something like logging in so problematic?

It worked fine for a few months, and when the update came, I could not acquire any points. Every time I get it scanned, it still shows zero. I asked the starbucks person how many points it is showing on her end, and she told me zero. Garbage.

SYSTEM ERROR- Listen, my phone is not that old. I would understand if it was. But it's not. Why you won't fix this bug that it sounds like a lot of people have, is baffling. I'm sick of this. Just order online, it's easier and you still get points.

Unable to sign on to app with pixel 8 pro. I get System Error when trying to sign in, changed credentials multiple times and can sign onto web version. Please fix! No other apps have this compatibility issue on my phone! Edit: app is working now, no idea what changed.

UPDATE: Starbucks has fixed the issue only 1 week after the phone and OS release. Thanks! ORIGINAL REVIEW: The app is normally great, but it's currently not working on my Pixel 8 Pro with Android 14. I can't log in and I get a system error. I'm a little disappointed that Starbucks was unprepared for a new OS and major device launch.

Changed to a new Android phone, downloaded the Starbucks app and it failed at sign in, then I reset password twice it still can't sign in. it always prompt says "a system error has occurred, please try again ". I tried the password with Chrome browser it worked and with the iPhone app it also worked fine. Not sure if it's a problem with the Android app in the Playstore?

Google pixel 8: I tried to log in and it didn't work, I changed my password and t ied again still didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled it still didn't work. I tried to log in on their website they didn't work either. Their customer service chat doesn't response and their customer service on the phone were useless. And yes, I still can't log in anywhere.

This app is good, since I've been using it my orders have been correct. 9 times out of 10 when going through the drive thru its wrong and I have to go inside and have it remade, defeating the purpose and convenience of the drive thru. I just wish I knew about the app and rewards sooner, I could have had so many points/stars! So many past orders I didnt get anything for 😭 lol

After the latest September 2023 update, the app no longer opens, it crashes immediately even after clearing data and uninstalling and reinstalling. As a daily user of this application, this is incredibly disappointing. Important note: I'm using the GrapheneOS android version. If Starbucks doesn't respect the Android ecosystem, and I can't use the app, I won't be spending there anymore. I go enough that the rewards and points add up. Such a shame.

Not great overall. And it won't let me change my password. I have tried many different times, and this is an issue I've run into before. Last time I just gave up and waited several months and it worked. I don't want to do that this time. Password reset is one of the most basic features, it should work. Edit: also, as a partner of Starbucks I am supposed to be getting an extra star with every purchase (it even says in the app when you select payment) and I don't. Another issue to fix or stop.

Fix the part where you can swipe through all of the "Order" menu pages except the "Featured" page. You can swipe into the Featured page but not out of it. Oh and also maybe have the app work for longer than 5min before it stops working again. The little things.
