Used to be a great app and a great company to deal with, but things have changed. The app is slow and inaccurate and keeps defaulting to the wrong currency, meaning quotes are wildly incorrect. When bookings are made and confirmation emails received there is now period where the app doesn't update and new itineraries are said to "not exist" so you can't check it or change it. If a booking app can't show the correct prices and can't update the itinerary speedily, what good is it??

Good app, easy to use. I really dislike the way Expedia shows the available properties on initial, i.e., unfiltered search, I find it irritating see "their" - Expedia's - preferred suppliers first. I understand why, I just don't like it. I wish there was a search option button to "Show me properties based on price" at initial search. I like their product, otherwise. I've not had any issue with any of my bookings. The interface is easy to use and navigate.

The ability to search using the map function has disappeared. Sometimes when things work, leave them to do just that. Tinkering and altering thingsndoesnt always work out for the better. Like many others here, I am a long term customer but something about this app now doesn't entice me to complete my booking. Bring the map search back please.

Expedia seems ok but I moved to a country I cannot use it at and I need to delete my account using mobile app. First there was no option for that at all and when I updated the app it keeps kicking me out every time I click on Settings. It pops up there is a bug. Settings are a pretty big deal to fail tbh, I am waiting for an update to delete it now because I do not want lost and forgotten account...

App was working ok (just a bit slow) until I updated it, now it's mixing up KEF with EFL airport when refreshing, which is extremely annoying, and if I wasn't paying attention, I might end up in an enyirely wrong coutry! And when I click on my notifications to check the updates on my watched flights, all that opens is a page of advertisement! Wth?? Why bother pinging me for updates if you're no longer gonna show me?! Please fix!!

If I could give a negative amount of stars I absolutely would. Four times in the last two months I have booked and paid for hotel reservations and have gotten to the the hotel only to find out that Expedia has canceled my reservations for no apparent reason. They have literally left myself, kids, husband, and dogs with no choice but to sleep in our vehicle because we couldn't afford to book and pay for the room a second time and wait 10 days for our money to be refunded.

One of the worst apps I have ever used. Sorting options do not sort according to my sorting preference. Traveling options are confusing. For example, if I am traveling to another country by myself, but I will be meeting someone else in the other country and they will be staying with me in the same hotel, where is the option to select that? Using this app is giving me a headache.

Worst booking experince in history. It takes ages to amend any booking. 1 hour call for any change minimum. Also, they ripped me off a couple of times. The photo of hotel room didnt match reality, and I have been told by the hotel that Expedia always mix up photos for diffetent room types in a hotel. I will never use it again for sure.

Too many hidden fees YOU'LL be charged more at the hotel.. I paid $130 for a one night reservation in advance. When I got to the hotel I was charged another $77.00 at the desk for "taxes/hotel fees". Wow Expedia you should know that's happening to your customers and be upfront about how we're only paying for a "partial reservation" on the Expedia app.

Never again! I recently rented tried renting a compact suv (which actually was a compact car in their system) through Expedia on terminal. Turns out it was off terminal and when we finally got there it was a 50+ minute wait and I couldn't cancel my reservation because the cancel button was greyed out. We got an Uber and left to make our appointment, but then noticed a $50 Expedia charge on our credit card. I contacted support about it and they basically said sorry, not sorry.

This used to be one of my go-to travel apps, but recent updates have made the app unusable. I encounter bugs even trying to perform simple tasks. For example, when trying to search for a hotel and typing a city name, nothing autopopulates but I cannot perform a search on what I manually typed either. Quite frustrating.

I will NEVER use Expedia again!!! The worst experience ever!!! I spent 2 hours on the phone with people that I could not understand just to get to the hotel and there was no reservation made but they had taken my money. The hotel was very nice and let me check in until they worked it out. But NEVER again. If there was 0 stars that's what they would get

Absolute garbage. This app for nearly a week now (who knows how much longer) is worthless. Find a hotel that matches your dates. Go to pay for it and get a message: payments not available, please try again. I tried to book 3 times before finally going on the website and being able to piecemeal a reservation. Try to find it in the app? "Something went wrong" looking for a trip you'd booked before, trying to leave a special request note, trying to cancel a booking, same thing. Something went wrong

It's a great app and I travel frequently. The only reason I'm taking away one star (and it may be an issue with Google) is that suddenly my confirmations to not go to my Google calendar from gmail (this is almost certainly a Google issue)...but there is no work around because Expedia does not have any kind of "share" or "add to calendar" function. I think there used to be something like that but there is not anymore. Makes it very inconvenient to have to manually type in all the details

The app is bad - very slow, not clear. I've always found Expedia's prices to be good. But it doesn't matter when you get a $50 price hike before checkout because it took so incredibly long to get through the app. PS Expedia since you're looking into this, all you have to do is refund the $500 I lost for not buying insurance because of the price hike, and I'll give you 5 stars. Let me know ..

The app is always slow no matter my connection. It's barely usable anymore. Whenever I try to add filters to properties the whole thing glitches and sends me back to the beginning and I have to start my search all over. Also, filters do not work on the map. If I search properties and can get filters to apply without kicking me out, when I switch to the map view the filters never apply and still show me all properties on the map view. I get kicked out so much or the app crashes anymore.

Agents are not helpful at all. Booked a one bedroom suite for 4 adults and 1 child instead of a 2 bedroom suite for 5 adults and child. The app which directed me to the website would not let me adjust the amount of people coming even though I had just upgraded the room. I had to cancel the reservation and rebook just to add one more person. Your app is buggy and sometimes hard to navigate when looking for your saved hotels. Also please list extra fees for car rentals! 200 extra!? Come on Expedia

If you don't book the trip yourself the app is completely useless. I should be able to save a trip if I have the itinerary number and not have to use that number and someone else's email address to look it up every single time. Step up the technology.... you can use chatGPT to put a trip together but can't save trips that already exist...............
