Description of Amazon Relay

The Amazon Relay mobile app is for carriers, owner-operators and drivers who want to manage their Relay freight on the go. From the grocery store checkout line to the parking lot of fuel stop, carriers and owner-operators can use the app to book and manage loads anywhere they get a phone signal. And truck drivers can use the Relay app to find the safest route for their Amazon cargo, along with site-specific information about facilities that makes entry faster.

Still no response from dev and with today's update, MORE functionality has been taken away! Now I can't get a QR code or manual check in/out option! So instead of adding features for android, you're taking them away! This is ridiculous! Terrible, horrible, buggy app!

Iphone variant of this app allows for multi scanning whereas Android version scans 1 by 1. Really slow for large volumes of labels

The GPS isn't the worst running in the UK, but since it has been updated it no longer shows an exit number on the display on roundabouts so if you have the voice off you have to glance at the screen to see the whole roundabout as you enter it.. the route planning is almost always wrong when collecting an empty trailer now. It says "live load" when it should say "collect empty trailer". This is a huge annoyance as the new feature which shows the trailers MOT and PMI status doesn't show.

Amazon needs to do something with their life. Because they wasting ours. How you gonna make me wait 401 min for an empty to end my day? This isn't so much the app itself. It's just Amazon itself. They make no sense and they never wanna call you back

I think this has been the worst update that Amazon has done. It will not allow you to move past the landing page to start your workday. It keeps crashing, and no matter how many times you send an email to the developer, they won't fix the problem. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it. Nothing was wrong with the old way the app operated.

They won't show you all available loads in your area on the Load Board, despite being a 100% A+ rated company. When contacted about, they blame the algorithm. Imagine waiting for a load to show up so you can move some freight and make some money, and on your Load Board, nothing is available for the next 8 hours, but your friends with a worse company rating are sending you screenshots with available loads, having the same settings and filters on the Load Board. FRUSTRATING!!!

Explain to me why if you have an iPhone, you can use this app to connect by Bluetooth semi truck to track hours of service, but not on Android -__- !! I speak for every one when I ask you to add this feature to Android as well !

GPS not working properly, always on and off. Many sites of Amazon GPS not detect the arrival. Built-in navigation is useless, take you in off road routes sometime. Can't trust on app navigation. Many technical problems at back ground.

Just wish I still got notifications for load being ready instead of having to refresh on the status screen. I like how gps now says the direction of the next highway though instead of just the number. It does still keep trying to put me in the express and carpool lanes or says to keep right of them every mile at the openings.

The navigation is better then before and the app seems to be working better. Amazon really needs to rethink how they use this AI technology to hand out pick up times and departure times cause draining the hos clock and leaving no time left to find a parking spot is not good for your drivers or your company. They need to bring back the app not detecting arrival button so we can get past these loads so we can continue to use relay.

Edit for Oct 2nd 23. Downgraded to 2 stars. Post a truck has been jacked up this past month or two. UTC time is used and can't edit a already existing open order, only cancel. App is still a bit clunky for my taste. Big red "road restricted" screen warnings that block 1/3 the navigation screen. GPS isn't accurate enough driving in freeway condensed cities and misinterprets what road you're on. . Mobile Load board screen still more difficult to see and book with, without extra button pushes.

The new upgrade has so many steps it's unreal. Since the upgrade I can't do a trailer search without refreshing the app. When you do finally get the trailer in the app the trailer number in relays main page shows the last trailer that you pulled. The Amazon wants to dock you for not doing the run. Also doesn't always give you a Bol on a trip like it should. Fmcsa regulations states you must have supporting documents for the load.

For the most part it's good however it could be improved. It doesn't always tell when you arrive at a location so that's 1 issue. Someone else mentioned the blue cloud making directions more difficult to read in the map is another issue that could be fixed. It would be a huge help if ROC associates could complete payment disputes that are outside of driver control when called. It would only be fair if Amazon awards credit towards score cards when they cancel your booked loads as well. 👍🏾🙏🏽

Update made it trash to use. Doesn't tell hwys to get on. It's almost like it's using Google maps as well. Has you on residential roads and road closures. It used to use McNally software, now it will have you get off the hwy to get on the city route and request you to make uturns and sharp turns. Very unacceptable and dangerous especially with a trailer. The thing is, we use this bc Amazon have warehouses in places we would never be able to find without them pinning the area. It's just dangerous

Overall this is a nice app. The major problems that I have with the relay app is when I go to check-in and I have to leave off of the property to take my ten hour break, because Amazon doesn't allow us truck drivers to stay on the property. Anyway, I wish it had the option to reroute me back to the facility because it's so easy getting lost, or making a wrong turn that will lead me towards low bridges. Also, I wish the app would tell me directions step by step like in route.

Very bad app, and it keeps getting more and more difficult, complicated to use with every upgrade, and it always shows no internet and no data, now its screen doesn't even come up anymore, I have to wait minutes, its so discomfort, I also have to press everything 20 times for it to work, I don't know what they are thinking they are doing, but they are making everything so much more difficult for drivers and everybody else.

LOVE IT! If you're hauling loads for Amazon, this app is a must. It only helps with driver tasks, not dispatch tasks. Almost all communication is done through the app, and it is so easy. OCCASIONALLY, it does something wonky, but for the most part, it does a great job. I LOVE that it tells you when your load is ready early! Def use the routing tool if there are a couple of possible routes. But use common sense or another GPS between interstate and terminal; sometimes it routes you weird.

Don't use their navigation unless you are trying to see where the truck entrance is. The app is not very good.. If you have dual roles it glitches. When you get the scan code, just keep tapping the screen. They really could have made it easier to use this app and going straight to post a truck is confusing. As you learn the app if you make any mistakes, your rating goes way down n it's really hard to recover.
