The app is useful for navigating the re:Invent conference (2019) but is fairly buggy and slow UX response. It usually does not load my schedule without first viewing the larger catalog. It is certainly an improvement over a year ago, for sure.

Barely usable for Reinvent. Trying to manage session reservations is nearly impossible--if it weren't for the web portal this reinvent would be nothing but standing in overflow lines. Other features like the catalog and navigation seem nice at first, but actually using them shows their problems quickly. You're better off with Google Maps and the Reinvent portal website than this app.

Decent but not great. Slow to load and generally sluggish. Notifications are broken. Clicking on one only opens the app and the notification disappears. Should be able to review past notifications. Maps should be more obvious from a 'walking in off the street' perspective (Venetian specifically).

App is pretty bad for someone with resources like AWS. Planner is buggy as heck and lags to all $!&* frequently, stops letting me check session details, gives me errors like "sessions is full" when I'm just trying to find it to line up for walk in etc. Also has to load up the full catalog *every single time* or my planner is completely empty. Filtering has issues returning to its hidden state. Who thought that was a good idea? I expect far better than this junk of an app.

Offers the functions you'd expect of such an app. Worked reliably. Session catalog offered a lot of search flexibility. If I had one gripe it would be the "navigate " function. probably good for a multi-venue event but for re:inforce, simple maps would be better. on second day of event I did find a printed map on site so there's that.

Generally good but there are some issues with the planning section. Specifically there's no schedule caching, so if I'm out of WiFi range then it won't display my schedule. Also selecting a session which is fully reserved just shows a message to that effect, when I actually want to know the location of the session.

This is terrible. I don't know what the heck a POI is. I booked a hotel 2 blocks away. Let me use my location. My calendar and events also seem to be wildly fluctuating all over the place. I've had several events pop up, and also disappear. The app is beautiful, but it's functionality is like 2/10. Don't include features that don't work just because they kind of do.

When it works, it's super helpful, but the time it takes to launch the app and then switch to your planner takes usually between 5-10 minutes. It's nuts. I ended up having to screen cap the events j planned to go to so I could access it faster than the app could.

Very, very, very stupid slow. Reconfigures for local timezones, so if you make a schedule at home, it will be wrong when you get here. Planner app is near useless as you can't see all items or resize the screen. You can't turn the app sideways to gain more viewing space. Did I mention it's ungodly slow?

For the most part the app does what it needs to, but at reinvent 2019 I keep getting notifications with useful information, then when I click them they disappear and I can't read the whole message or get it back. About half the time I load the app my schedule says it isn't available yet and I have to try for a few minutes to restart the app and my phone until I can get it to load.

Although the app isn't as snappy quick as other apps, I didn't experience the slowdowns my colleague and other users have experienced (I use a Samsung S10+). That being said, there were times where info was unavailable, or that sessions I already reserved shows no more seats available. The information provided was very useful, but reliability could've been better.

About 60% of the time I tap the "planner" tab, I get a message saying the "session catalog is unavailable at this time", which isn't great because the planner is by far the most important feature for me. Killing the app and restarting it doesn't resolve the issue; not sure what does. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and not being able to figure out why is pretty frustrating. Other than that, I can't really comment bc, again, it's the only feature I need. UI looks good though 👍

app does not take into account user font size settings so a lot of the text is not visible as it is out of frame

Lots of room for improvement. There's no exit, and back doesn't exit - you have to hit home to get out. I've had to login again so far 3 or 4 times during re:Invent. Session surveys are blank until I navigate somewhere else & go back. Push notifications get dismissed when clicking on them... and it's not notifying about my sessions, it'sother stuff. There's more to be addressed. It does a few things ok, but it's just a bit clunky.

sessions were filled up and not proper coordination...1/2 of the attendees didn't get lunch.....keynote went over time...bad experience all around compared to previous sessions..hopefully better next time
