Whenever I have been in need of a hotel last minute, HotelTonight has been helpful. When I had a bad situation with a specific Hotel that I had booked thru them, they were able to make good on the situation. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, due to the fact that they do not vet hotels before accepting them into their listing. Had they had an on-site inspection policy, they would have never added a handful of dirt-bag no-tell motels to their availability. Just be sure to read reviews!

Lifesaver! Our hotel in New York city Manhattan got cancelled without notice after our flight was cancelled and rescheduled 1 day later. Couldn't find rooms after calling over 20 hotels and hoteltonight came through on the first try. The price was very reasonable as well. Great experience!

Booked a condo styled beach hotel with special instructions of how to check-in past 6pm. Spent couple of hours trying to check in, no luck (totally unresponsive hotel). Then couldn't get my money back because reservations are non-refundable)) called the hotel, which claims they didn't get paid because I didn't check in. Hoteltonight refused to refund. Basically charged me for services they never provided.

Easy peasy. I've had no trouble navigating the app. It's easy to use, lots of options, hotels of all different luxury levels from basic to ultra luxury and great deals, especially if you book on same day!

Best experience possible. This app has never failed me for cheap rooms in Atlantic City area. I would tell you about a couple of my experience that he never went to. It depends on what your willing to pay for love I guess bc we've all been in that situation about how much do we feel like paying people to leave us alone

I'm not really sure what the point of this app is. The hotels are still extremely expensive and you can find better deals by just doing a Google Maps search. Many hotels charge a "destination fee" (huh?) which you have to add into the price yourself

Worst hotel experience of my life and ruined my vacation. Found a used crack pipe in my bed, spent over 6 hours on phone with hotel tonight trying to get my money back. They instead canceled the remainder of my stay at current hotel with an in app credit of remaining $ to find a new room for 3 nights, last minute, in New York city over the weekend in August. The credit did not cover any 3 nights so I was out of a hotel room suddenly. Missed dinner, show to be on phone. Made me pay full price.

I have had this app on my phone for a while and had not used it. I needed a less-expensive Hotel outside Detroit, as I was going to a conference downtown. I had my car. Lo and behold, a special deal for a 15-minute time window came up on this app that I could not pass up just 19 minutes north in Southfield. And this was a very good hotel. I could not believe the deal I got for 5 days. Love this app.

The app can be great in some cities where they have very good deals negotiated. At other times, in other cities, there's absolutely nothing special about their rates. Also, if you are planning well in advance, you will find the only allow booking 90 days in advance, and they're offering can be the same hotels everyday

Price displayed at time of booking was significantly less than what I was charged... The price increased by over $40 mid-booking, and unfortunately there is no itemized breakdown of prices from time you submit to your card being charged. Booked for two nights, and both nights had a different rate than what was advertised. Been a member since 2017 and this is not the first time it's happened. Will be deleting!

The customer service is absolutely horrible! I booked a room on the app. The night i went there, i was not able to check in due to the lack of availbility which was a very unpleasant experience. So i ended up staying in a motel 50 mins away from the city. What's most outrageous is the next couple of days i asked them for a refund. They denied by saying the hotel has no note of my arrival... Anyways, I highly don't recommand this app!!

The app starts out as the same night in your current locale. These may change as you review your options and select your hotel. It is very important that you be sure that they are still what you want before finalizing the transaction. One stay was booked 2 days the week after I needed a single night. Another time I never received confirmation, but I asked about a vacancy while on site at the hotel and was told no. In fairness, they did give me credit for the two nights, but not the single.

I've been scammed by all the other apps or sites like zen hotel, travelocity, and more. You book thru them, show up at the hotel & it's going to cost more, or worse, the hotel is booked! Not with this app. I used it in Vegas, so I did have to pay a resort fee, but you get that back. I stayed at the Orleans for $29! I'm totally satisfied & will not be deleting this app! Thanks creators!

In general I am a fan of the app. HT has made finding a room much more fun than endlessly scrolling through legacy hotel sites. I like the tiered rewards system. Things to improve: 1) Slow load time for photos 2) Not enough bathroom photos 3) Ability to read more than 3 reviews would be illuminating. Push harder for room type selection at more venues. Hate seeing pictures of King beds and walking into a double room.

Booked a great inn with this app. Got there on Thanksgiving night only to find out it had been permanently shut down. There was just a notice with a phone number from another inn that was taking their guests. My family had to change our plans and stay at a different part of town, at a much lower quality place. I contacted support and initially they were quick to reply, saying they were analyzing my casing and asking about the closure. Then, they simply forgot me: no follow-ups, no money back.
