Save hundreds of dollars by turning your Android into an RV GPS. No more worrying about low clearances or being routed over an unsafe mountain pass.

RV LIFE is the perfect RV trip planner companion. Our campground locator contains over 10 million data points including 350,000+ reviews covering over 18,800 campgrounds, RV parks, & RV resorts.

Built by RVers for RVers, it's the little details that make RV LIFE standout.

We know internet connections can be non-existent when you're camping. We built our app to work offline. You can download our entire campground knowledgebase including maps so the RV GPS will work, no internet connection required.

Our RV Park & Campground locator is the most comprehensive. It covers all amenities, even cellular coverage. Our reviews are the most detailed. Filters make it the perfect tool for RV trip planning. Allow you to find a campground, RV Park or RV resort that is a great fit for you.

You can filter to see only highly rated campgrounds & sort by the number of reviews to see the most popular. Search for campgrounds by types such as National Parks, State Parks, KOA campgrounds, BLM campgrounds, or even find ones that are Big Rig friendly. Find campgrounds that offer discounts such as Good Sam, Passport America or AAA.

Another useful feature of RV LIFE are tips left by other RVers. With over 65,000 tips you are sure to hear about area attractions, tasty eateries & other relevant tidbits. You can access tips by looking at any campground’s details page.

We teamed up with RV Trip Wizard, the popular RV trip planner. You can access your planned trips & use our RV GPS to navigate safely to your next destination.

No need to buy an expensive Garmin or Rand McNally RV GPS when our app can turn your phone into an RV Safe GPS with our Turn-by-Turn directions that work even when no internet connection is available.

RV LIFE includes access to thousands of articles on RVing. The articles cover a wide range of topics including destination spotlights, DIY projects, RV hacks, product reviews, member interviews & more.

We even have articles where you can learn about other resources like RV Trip Wizard, Escapees, Good Sam, Passport America, AAA, Allstays, RV Parky, Campendium, Harvest Hosts, & Overnight Parking.

If it's about RVing, we cover it.

Tried a 7 day Free Trial first. So glad did, at least I had an opportunity to cancel the auto pay at the end of the trial. The problems I had were many but I will list only 2. 1, Every time i attempted to sign in, I got an error message "INCORRECT PASSWORD" 2. The APP kept shutting down every time I used it. I would say it shut down no less than 10 times within the first 3 hours of use. I have cancelled the Payment and will now remove the APP. It has great potential but at this point it should be called a Beta App and shouldn't be sold.

I use the browser app often for planning and on trips (wifi available). The smartphone app is not up to speed compared to browser (or usage counter-intuitive) - Routing map not interactive! - Unable to interact with Location (e.g., we're in Kansas but app directions think we're in Dallas--which we've not been to!) - App navigation is far from intuitive. E.g., might reach the end of a help section and have no indication about how to get back. RECOMMEND: don't use app. Use browser instead.

It just didn't work, figuring out how to create a trip is not an easy task, I'm still not sure I did it correctly. I told it to avoid tolls and it took me up I95 that had a toll between Baltimore and PHL. I exported the trip to Google and Google changed the route, but at least Google skipped the tolls. This app would be better if it just marked/highlighted bridges and tunnels my rig is too big for and let me build my trip around those obstacles.

Becoming less valuable. RV GPS is questionable. Loads really slowly. Often have to launch and wait several minutes to complete the process only to find a blank white screen. My workaround is to exit the app and re launch. Surely debugging and enhancing the user experience can't be rocket science. C'mon guys, you can do better than this!

Would be nice if the app connected to network. Having full service and 4g, the app won't connect. The map view is an annoyance unless you want to find a rv park every 1 mile of the road. I'm more interested in rest stops along my route and already know where my final destination park is. The filters will allow you to turn on and off futures like traffic, ratings, hook ups, etc. but you can't turn off rv parks. I will be canceling my 7 day trail.

I was hoping that it had improved, but it seems worse than the first time I tried it. I added my filters, and tried checking it out on parks one state over. parks that had showed up the first time, didn't show this time. I will admit, least it did crash . but having to pay for big rig information is not kosher. there are better apps available. RV parky is one of them and is now my go to review site. Keep trying and it may get better.

It is a globestyle map (not flat map so you can't easily widen the map and scan ahead) that gives somewhat turn-by-turn directions (at .3 miles from the turn without exit names or which lane to be in) with routes to avoid low bridges (not low hanging electrical chords or tree-lined streets with low hanging branches). It's only good for checking routes for bridges you can fit under. No detour function so it reroutes to the same closed road you are attempting to avoid. Destination inaccurate.

DO NOT USE THE RV GPS ON THIS APP!!! In the short time that we have used the GPS on the app, several times it has led us away from our destination or has us get off the highway only to drive in circles. At one point, it took us off the highway, into a questionable residential area, to a dead end street. This has got to get fixed. The rigs that all we RVers drive can't afford to be led to places that cannot handle them. This can be very dangerous.

Not a fan of this app. RV Trip Wizard is a decent setup on a PC for mapping out a safe route and looking up park information but the app is pure garbage. The map it uses contains minimal data to help me keep track. The last two trips I took the entrance location to the park was incorrect. However it still helps keep me from getting into restriction trouble so I'll give it that extra star but other than that it's a 1 star app.

3/13/21 Update: Android version on a Galaxy S8 phone - RV Trip Wizard import seems to work, but then crashes as soon as you try to get directions to any of the stops from your current location, which in my case happens to be from the first stop on the trip to any subsequent location. Makes the end of a stressful day on the road even more so. Became a pretty good app but the GPS directions started telling me to make u-turns... crazy! Waiting for an update to download to cure a crash on startup.

I am literally surrounded by BLM campgrounds but none of them show up on the app. Sometimes if you know the exact location of a campground you can zoom in and see a flag on the map. This tells me the site is in the database but not visible in the standard view. I've also noticed that some of the flags on the map are several miles from the actual location. Case in point, the flag for imperial dam ltva outside of Yuma is at least 20 miles off. This would be a great app if it worked better.

Thought to review the updated appz since the older app was very buggy. No difference in new one - non stop crashing. Go to maps, enable FILTER. Click on filter to disable - crash. Asks for permission each time on open. Thousands missing RV parks on map view. I really want to be able to use it as one place to go, but it is unusable, unfortunately.

This has been a great app for Being. The only thing about the RV GPS is that they use the full name of the road which often makes it so you can't see the actual number. This is very frustrt when going thru a large metropolitan area on those mixing bowls. For instance L-35 in TX is the Purple Heart Highway. That is all you see at the top of your screen.
Jeffrey Carpenter
Dropping down to 2 stars from 3 stars. There has been no change to the absurdly unrealistic navigation ETA calculation in over 2 years. The ETA is way too long for smaller RVs. It doesn't appear that the RV specifications are taken into account in the navigation ETA calculation. With this navigation problem remaining unfixed this is a very expensive campground finder app.

I have been using the web based version of RV Trip Wizard and really like it. Thought I would try the app..what a disappointment. It accepted my login but does not import any of my profile or existing trip information. In the profile it defaults to Airstream and that cannot be changed. I was hoping to use this app as an offline method to access the trips I planned and saved on the web based version.

This app was one of the reasons to pay for the RV Life suite. It is a major disappointment. No Android Auto. The iOS app does support Carplay though so we use my wife's iPhone. The app crashes. All. The. Time. Everytime it has to "recalculate" the route, it'll say"recalculating" and then crashes out. We can't even get it to start navigating if we're not already on a highway because it'll just constantly crash until we get on a steady road. Sometimes it'll crash repeatedly when opening. Junk.
DHSLouisiana
Tedious and timeconsuming, especially the initial loading every time you open the app. I just wanted to be able to quickly and efficiently map a route but I don't seem to be able to get directly to that. The trip estimator consistently gives me arrival times that are much later than the actual time. I can't find anywhere to adjust the projected average speed but it must think it's 40 mph.
GM Jones
It is a good navigating system. We used it prior, but at the time it was not realtime, so I still had to use Google Maps for navigating. We are trying again. Although phone settings volume is turned up high, and sound is enabled, DND is off. In app: Voice Navigation: yes Voice volume: loud I still have no audible navigation directions. Shouldn't it have audio? Fyi: I DO have audio on Google Maps.
