I've been using this app since February and it had been a great service until this past week. Now I'm no longer getting notifications, the app seems to have a glitch where my requests are not being processed, and I'm getting random emails not meant for me. I wonder if it is the newest upgrade? I also had one complaint about a walker but I've received no response. I'm hopeful this can all be corrected because it was great for a few months.

I have fallen in love with Wag. They got me with the free first walk and then I found the service to be so much more helpful and convenient than I expected. Plus, the app is so easy to use! The map of where the Walker went was a huge selling point that made me a repeat customer. The pictures of my dog are cute and nice to have too. The only bad thing is it's difficult to see where the Walker went before you tip, which would make me tip higher.

Great app. However, I dont know if it's the new update that's making the app weird. I would see a on demand walk. Request it. And then when I go back on the app to check on it, it would disappear. Very strange and hard to pick up walks everyday. Also wished the standard base pay for 10mile drive to owner house would be $20 without tip. It just makes more sense to me. Because not everyone will tip their walkers.

Recent update made this app go from a grade of D- to F. The map functionality doesn't work (it used to) messaging is delayed, to the point that it's meaningless for any real coordination. The walkers themselves are usually great, but can have an occasional miss. Honestly, it feels like a decent UX Product Manager and a QAE could be have addressed most of these fundamental issues prior to release. Service itself is convenient, but the app sucks!

I love wag walkers, but this app is totally unreliable! I've called support a few times. Always told that IT is looking into it... the live tracker doesn't work, videos are unwatchable, selecting a Walker for the day is a dead end, trying to look at the route after the walk takes me to a map of central Africa, and I'm in the USA. Many things need to be fixed, please get this back to a five star app!

good app. The only issue I have is that when I schedule a walk it says preferred but doesn't show me my preferred Walker. I would prefer the same person every time but it doesn't do that. It gives me other preferred even though I've never used them. Customer service is great though. Every time they respond promptly and solve the issue with no hassles.

There is no way to cancel a walk if you clicked it by accident. I did this and texted customer support one minute after. they still required me to request a cover. I like the idea and the actually service but the app is awkward to use, is full of holes, and there are a lot of oversights. Update: The walker app spams your phone with push notifications. I turned off all notifications but I still receive notifications. Contacted customer support but no response. Overall, the app is poorly built.

great walkers, terrible app. cannot see walk map before tipping or rating walker. app frequently crashes mid booking sometimes resulting in several requests for walks that cannot be withdrawn, they can only be cancelled once accepted resulting in cancellation fees you have to contact customer service to fix. about 1/3 of the time the app just doesn't work. but again, all the walkers have been great.

I love the people that have walked my dog. I love being able to see the route they take, the pee/poo breaks, And the pictures/videos they send. I love the concept. I tried booking a walk yesterday and today but to no avail. It would give me an error message about not being able to get my information so it wouldn't load and then it kicks me out. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Logged back in. Same issue. Please fix.

I've been able to book walks successfully, chat message with walkers and trainers, and view articles. I've experienced multiple technical issues. 1) virtual training audio very poor quality. Trainer and I had to put the speakers up to our ears to hear each other, and therefore couldn't do visual training. 2) after giving the walker/trainer a rating and tip, the app prompted me to go through the same rating and tip screens again. Once, I was sent through the rating and tip screen 3 times.

Worst Tech Support Ever! I love my walker! And I love the thought of scheduling a recurring walk with the same walker. But if you have to cancel a single walk in the series, due to weather or pet illness/injury, you can't. No matter what you select, it cancels ALL of the walks and you have to set them all up again. App and OS up to date with excellent signal so not that. Tried to get help (all they have is chat) techs had no clue how to fix. Going to close account and hire my walker privately.

App is totally horrible. When I can get the app to function, the service and walkers are great. App has different issue every time. Lately it keeps asking for credit card info for every walk, now after requesting a walk last night. The so won't even open. Just crashes. I've rebooted, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app still crashes so I have no idea if someone accepted the walk or not.

This app is garbage. The messaging feature does not work. They did some updates recently, and now there is no way to do anything in the app until you have given ratings to all recent walkers. When it asks you to give a rating, it does not indicate the date or time of the walk. The recent changes also took away the feature where you can see which upcoming walks are booked and which are pending confirmation. I thought the app was bad before, but they managed to make it even worse.

The app doesn't launch once the code is entered. Instead the app gives a failure alert. I've installed, uninstalled, and installed again and the same issue. I was able to schedule a daily walker, and it's not reflected anywhere in my account. It is clear this app was never tested on multiple operating systems, hence the consistent reviews of poor quality.

They are very bad at replying back through their text message options. The app is not up to date. I have been putting the wag bandana on my dogs during the walk, and documenting it to get the extra 1$ per walk, and I never saw that money. When I called they said they dont offer that anymore, but the app still has the option for it. I was extremely disappointed to hear that. The app glitches all the time and it makes starting and ending walks extremely difficult and frustrating. I am not pleased.

The times I've been able to use wag, the walkers are great, respectful, and friendly! Unfortunately I have also been a victim of their wildly inaccurate estimated times and inability to check status or cancel. It often tells me "10 minutes" but I've waited upwards of an hour with no confirmation. Unable to cancel other than a text or call and a great deal of hope, I've had to answer the door and explain my issues to some confused but understanding walkers. Walkers are great, the app isn't.

Unfortunately the Android app is poorly developed. As others have said there are a number of usability issues that make the app frustrating to use and, in some areas, unusable. For example, I tried to book a service where I chose the caregiver. Every time I tried to book, it automatically chose the first person and booked them without my consent. When I tried to cancel, I was charged a cancellation fee. It seems the iPhone version works fine. Sad to see weaker dev on Android.

Use this app out of necessity not choice. The UI is not intuitive and is incredibly frustrating to navigate. The service is about the same. Their phone system has been failing for last few months so walkers are unable to contact users which is kind of important. Edit: it got even worse. Can't even change the date to schedule an appt more than a day in advance. Update: I don't know how they managed to make the app worse but mission accomplished. You can't easily update CC info.
