Instawork is a legit Job app in the Nashville, TN area and surrounding cities. It's a great way to pick up extra shifts and make extra money. This app is user-friendly and allows users to make a minimum of $5.00 more an hour by referring friends, businesses, etc. I recommend this app to anyone interested in temporary shift work and also if you're trying to find a temp-to-hire job, especially over the holidays.

This app will not update my preferred location settings. It keeps fixing itself to I am willing to travel anywhere for a job which is actually a lie. I want to travel at least 10 miles from my desired location not 100miles. I don't want to work in one or two states away from where I live. I want to see jobs within 10 miles or less. Fix that I will give a higher rating otherwise Instawork will get one.

Easy to get set up and approved to start working shifts. They make it really simple and it doesn't take long enough to get approved for different types of shifts (pending that you are qualified for them). Easily the best app that I've come across when it comes to picking up gigs.

I only work one shift but seems pretty straightforward and honest. I was a little worried at first because I work a shift and then app said "business canceled". So I'm not sure what that means because I already did the entire shift but the payment seems to be going through just fine. I am a little concerned about the payment amount appearing to change. But if it goes through fine I'll add the other two stars. But so far so good. It was an hours adjustment.

If they had more options I would give more stars. I applied for all of the options, did a lot of the orientations, and still only get 2 options which 1 of them will send me home, which will give me a negative report the other is full time if I accept. I got this app with the intent to find flexible work near me. But I'm not seeing many options to start with.

The app itself is pretty awesome and usually works without any issues. When there does happen to be any issues of it freezing up or shutting down its usually just because of the snowy weather where I live it makes my phone in general act up. I highly recommend this app for earning extra money. some people can use it as full time employment but if you live in a rural area as I do it doesn't pull up a lot of work opportunities within a reasonable distance very often. So keep that in mind also

I love this app and have worked a good amount of shifts. It's convenient and helps people make some income. I just don't like how you automatically get disqualified from leveling up for the next month if you cancel a shift. I understand that they depend on workers to show but sometimes canceling is the only option like if someone gets really sick for example. They should at least look at history of gigs worked or something instead of automatically disqualifying for following month.

Essentially a pay to play app. Good luck landing a shift without paying for premium service. And even still shifts are far and few. I live in a large city and see maybe 1 or 2 shifts on a good day. Then to apply for that shift you need to take a million quizzes and your profile is still incomplete which alone is infuriating. Tldr: you need to pay for premium or you're screwed. Even then still not worth it. Too few jobs and too much effort to find them.

I love the gigs I get and enjoy the work and the flexibility. The app itself has tracking issues.. it says I am tracking, then says I wasn't tracking after my shift and keeps counting against my status. I also had last minute cancelation, then all my shifts cancelled, then I got a no show notice and was suspended! I've been trying to get help resolving the matter, but haven't been able to get anywhere. Sadly this issue affected my rating level and my income, so, I cannot give 5 stars.

So far, so great just did my first day of work thru this app. I booked a whole week off work, so hoping the rest of the week goes as well as today went. App had a lot of shifts to choose from, UI is great, very intuitive and all necessary info is available in-app. This is the best "shifts" type app I've found to date. Highly recommend. Only thing I'd add is maybe a public roadmap and/or a way for users to vote on upcoming/next features, and maybe a way to make suggestions too? ,

I hate how it doesn't notify me anymore about an upcoming event confirmation. So it gets canceled. I just checked my gigs and they're all gone. It's very frustrating when you were looking forward to working and getting that money, but end up getting canceled. Also live in the city, the app has access to my location, so I don't understand why the app has to find me event server shifts 30-40 miles away. Literally I have only had 1 gig in the city and 2 others that I had booked, canceled.

Hmmm...describe my experience....a complete waste of my time! It's "bait and switch", simple as that. I haven't had even one gig through this app. The jobs mysteriously disappear when I click on them, which is even worse than not having any jobs post. You think you are about to get a really great gig and then.....poof....it disappears just before you can grab it. People do NOT waste your time on this app!

This is app is great for small gigs. When you need extra income or bored from quarantine, you can rely on the app. The cons are the team takes a long time to reply on issues regarding time sheet, and most of the gigs are long distance. I'd recommend to gigs based on closed proximity. Because most are not willing to drive 60 miles for a $16.75/hr is an scenerio. But overal the gigs I've worked have been smooth and reliable

This app is easy to navigate & offers great shifts for great opportunities to the employee! So far so good👍. Don't like all if the extra things they want you to do inside the app before you can start accepting shifts. Some of it is irrelevant bc it wants us to advertise. I think word of mouth is the best way so there's no need to do all that extra inside the app.

For the most part, Instawork usually comes thru for me in terms of the consistency with which they post skill-specific gigs. I say "usually" because - over the past 2 weeks - in the 15-20 seconds that it takes to open and view the shift details after I receive the push notification, the shift is already fully booked. Every. Single. Time. Over the past 2 weeks. 15 SECONDS! Ive got a 4.91 rating and silver pro status, but I'm definitely no longer receiving priority access to shifts suddenly.

It's beenf amazing. It's a great way to get back into the game and network within the work force of your choice. Start here if your not sure what to do. If you want to try different things and most importantly at your pace. Instwork it's easy to sign up , great for networking, flexible at your convenience and completely your choice. Where when and what is all up to you.

A great way to find work whether you're in between jobs or just looking for extra work. The app is easy to use and is pretty self explanatory, but there is an issue with the app picking up your location to clock in. The businesses need to learn how to clock people in as well for this very reason or you will be set as a no show in the app and suffer penalties.

It's a really good app for flexible work for sure. I was able to get gigs easily every week. Only ended up working one shift and then had to cancel on 2 because of an emergency and then leaving the state. Now I'm looking and can't find anything close and if one does so happen to pop up, it gets taken almost immediately. I live in a small city but the industrial park is overflowing with factories and warehouses. The casino is close so the city is expanding.
