The Shell App is designed to help you make the most of your stop!

FUELS DRIVERS
This mobile payment application provides a secure and convenient way to pay for fuel at the comfort of your car, as well as purchasing any items inside the store at participating Shell stations in the United States.
• You can link your Shell branded credit cards, checking account (via Shell S Pay), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or directly add your credit/debit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover.
• There is a NEW way to pay with Shell eGift card. Add or purchase Shell eGift cards from your app!
• To pay for fuel outdoors, simply unlock the pump using the app. Or to pay inside the c-store, present the app QR code to the cashier. Either way, you are back on the road in no time. Everything you need is in the app, including loyalty program integration, receipts, offers, and station locator.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE DRIVERS
The Shell App now supports EV drivers! Drivers using the Shell App can select the EV option to access the Shell Recharge network. The Shell App allows EV drivers to locate the nearest charger, check the station’s charging status, start and stop charging, and easily make in-app payments.

FUEL REWARDS® PROGRAM
Shell Pay & Save eliminates the need to carry multiple cards, reduces the number of prompts you have to answer, and is integrated with the Fuel Rewards® program so you can save automatically on every fill up, every day!
• New to the Shell App? You can earn a one-time 25¢/gal savings by downloading the app and completing your first Shell Pay & Save fuels purchase.
• All Shell App users earn additional savings for continued use of Shell Pay & Save. You can now customize your savings by choosing to redeem only everyday savings or to use your full rewards balance with Fuel Rewards choice in the Shell App.
• New loyalty status added, see potential new rewards to gain with Platinum status.
Participation in the Fuel Rewards program through the Shell App requires you to link a new or existing Fuel Rewards account in the app. See Terms & Conditions for complete details.

Great app, work well. Love the automatic rewards and ready/touchless payment. Only thing for developers, it's a lot of clicks to make from start to finish to confirm everything until you can start pumping. A little annoying and could be streamlined. But going to continue using the app, it's great! Hope you continue to improve!

When i first got the app it worked great. Fille dup using the app payting thropughthe app and now it never works. Can't use the app to pay, can't use my alt id to pay just never works and the support by the team sucks. They have no answers and no desire it seems to solve my problem. I would love to be saving money with Shell but why bother if they can't be bothered. I will just go to another station.

Horrible!! I would never get my discount I always got when swiping at the pump. Then they approved a purchase without me realizing there wasn't the amount in my checking. I immediately put it in my account, they got paid, then I ended up with $25 retrnd chk fee. I called, asked rep if they could give me a one time forgiveness. I thought it was instantly checked to make sure funds are available b4 approving. I was told they tell people to dispute w/ their bank. I did. They sent to collections!

Lately, when using the shell app, my discount does not always get applied correctly. I have Platinum status, and I should at least get 10/c off, but randomly, I get 5/c off. As of today, which is also T-Mobile Tuesday, I should have got 20/c off due to the multiple discounts, and I only got 5/c off. While I love the feature of paying on my phone at the pump, the app has become buggy after the Platinum status update. I tried reaching out through email, but I did not receive any response back.

Pay at the pump has not been working for at least a month or two. I can't even redeem Air Miles for gas (only use now that grocery stores don't use the program). Can't go into the payment methods part of the app, just get the error E000g and a similar error when trying to pay. Edit: clearing app data storage/cache and logging in again, relinking Air Miles got it working again.

I am giving this app 3 stars for now due to the fact that fills from other stations (white rock, Chilliwack) can't be changed from my default station, maybe I don't know but worse is the station attendants don't know either. They are supposed to be the experts of the apps. Is there a path I can go to to temporarily change my default station? Plus, I opted in for Sept rewards before I filled gas at Chilliwack station but the app didn't count it Otherwise, it works good at my default station.

It was fine a first. Not the most intuitive UI and needed semi-frequent cache clearing to get it working again. Lately, carwash cannot be detected properly (it is always busy). Please fix this! This is 90% the reason why I use this app.

I got the app so I could pay without swiping a card at the pump (I've had my card skimmed twice at pumps near my job). Now the app is broken and you can't pay with it anymore. I see thousands of others have had these same issues and it's not resolved and there have been no communications about upcoming fixes. I'm going to find an alternative gas station with a working pay app now.

Does not use my Air Miles to pay for gas. What is the use of this app? OH YAH! The station near me makes it mandatory to pay in advance, and this is the only way to do that without going into the dang store and pay THEM ahead of time. Also, won't work with IGA coupons in Quebec. ALSO, won't link to Shell coupon cards. So again, what is the use of this app?

App no longer works to pay at pump. Last week, it would recognize my location, but the payment feature would time out. This week, my payment information is no longer in the app and it times out when I try to add a payment card. I also cannot access my receipts. The app last worked correctly for me on 10/7/2023. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app. If it works correctly for longer than 2 months, I will adjust my review.

So far, I really hate this app. The first time I fueled up, I got charged full price and I definitely selected my Fuel Rewards when making a payment. The second time, my authorization pin would not go through - it didn't show an error, it just stayed on the pin page. I've reached out to customer service and haven't received a response, it's been weeks.

Design & everything has a lot of potential. If it worked.. At 1st, it worked fantastic, then, pay at the pump stopped working. Restarting the phone helped, but not anymore. So I settled with pay in store. Guess what? It doesn't work in store anymore either. B4 it stopped working altogether, I noticed a trend that it fails whenever a big promo's going on or gas price is low. I suspect their app service subscribed to a limited # of transactions within x period of time. Or they stop it from working

Would be nice if the app worked. For the past 2 wks I haven't been able to pay through the app. Had to walk inside the store, stand in line, and have issues at the register trying to get my rewards attached to the order. Password reset is not working either. Links aren't coming via email now I'm locked out my account for an hour. Looks like we need an update. I miss paying through the app. I don't have these issues with Mobile Gas App.

worst working app ever. Worked once and then never again. Close to impossible to get it to work at the pump without some kind of error, going inside is even worse as most of the clerks have no idea what the heck is going on even if the station is marked on the app.. Horrible roll out and disgraceful way to get people to sign up for rewards program.

Can't even log in and setup app without getting an error message. Time to load screens is really long with full service or on wifi. Sending feedback is and endless loop that will keep sending the same email over and over until you manually back out 4 screens deep. I hope they like the 5 copies of the same email they got from me before I was able to exit.

Not Shell Credit card - sent secure email to shell (Citi) and their exact verbiage, "Although we do not have an App, our site is designed so the information available is the same no matter what device you use to access your account. The only difference may be the location. For example, the menu items across the top on a desktop will collapse to the left on a mobile device. We would like to let you know about the I WANT TO drop down from the main Navigation Bar located at the top of most screen"

Pull up to the pump, open the app, select my pump number and start filling. Payment is easy, even integrated with Google Pay. Also an easy way to take advantage of Fuel Rewards to save some change. The only issue is that sometimes the payment flakes out and the only resolution is calling an 800 number. No thanks. When this app works, it's great!

Everytime I attempt to get into the app, it tells me there is a new update available, and must update the app to continue. When I get to the Play Store, it shows either open or uninstall. The last update shows 7/09/19. Uninstalling and reinstalling helped the first time, then opening it up a short bit later, I'm told the same thing. I need to update to a newer version that doesn't show exists in the app store. I get bugs every now and agian.
