It's quite reliable and accurate. I've never been unable to park due to any app-related issues. Even when I was logged out and didn't have my credentials handy, I was able to quickly get my spot reserved! 👌

Absolute junk, couldn't add any vehicles, just an error message so couldn't park as this was the only option to pay. Had to go home after a long journey. I wasn't the only person that day that had to go home. Worst app I have tried to use.

DO NOT USE! Received £100 fine after making payment with Paybyphone! Paybyphone is an absolute shambles! Paid for 2 hours parking, and did not use full 2 hours. Received a £100 parking fine! I appealed the fine, but was told Parkingeye my payment was not associated with them. After I left this poor review, Paybyphone asked me to contact them to offer help. But put me through to their chat bot, which was no help whatsoever! It looks like I will have to pay the fine + the £3.90 I paid to park!

As far as I can tell, this app is non-optional for anyone wanting to park in Vancouver, so giving it a rating seems a bit odd. However, it's great that it is so intuitive and easy-to-use, given that we DO have to use it all the time. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it seems to randomly allow you to extend your parking beyond the maximum 3 hours at some times and in some parking spaces and not in others, and it doesn't explain why that's happening.

As a long time refuser to pay by phone, preferring to pay by cash or reluctantly card I have been dragged into the 21st Century due to the increasing shortage of coins. I have to say I've seen the light and been converted. Easy to use. Plus the reminders and option to extend stay are really useful. Minor niggle is today for the first time I've had to get out of the car to get within reading distance of the pay machine for the location code as it wasn't on the map,(first world problems).

I had stepped away from my car and forgot to note down the location code from the signs. I expected to be able to look up the code simply from a map, but there was no such feature! This is an awful experience that seems to almost be intentional so as to scam people as much as possible.

Installed in preparation for a visit to a place where I'm told this app is the only way to pay for parking. Tried to register - apparently I already have an account. Clicked on reset password, which says it will send a code by sms and email. No code received. No other way to reset. So how am I going to pay for parking next week? Rubbish!

Flakey at best.. Despite having been given full location permissions it says no local parking locations. Go to the map which does correctly show my location and you see you are right in the middle of a zone. Hopeless... All other apps with maps work fine at the same location. The worst parking app so far but you don't get a choice.....

Was fine but now unable to email a receipt. Click email and it goes to preview. You then used to click on the mail icon and send it but that now just takes you back to the previous screen and there is no other option. Edit: So the developers response is.....we know we've broken it and we aren't going to fix it but why don't you just keep using it. There is a certain level of dense you have to achieve to become an app developer.

I will constantly bombard your reviews until I get help from you. I go online and I can't even speak to a human, it's some automated robot and when I try to call your help line after a few minutes I get cut off. Your customer service is diabolical!!! Now for the second time, MY CARD KEEPS ON GETTING DECLINED! There is nothing wrong with my card or the details I have entered as I use it daily for other transactions. I've been using this card with you since 2021 and now theres suddenly a problem!

It hangs every time on the initial image. My phone is a Pixel 6 running Android 14, the latter of which is very new. Maybe that's why? In any case I had to call the phone robot, and register because I may have never actually used it before, and if you've ever done that you know it's a very painful experience.

Up until today I would give this 5 star. The app now tells my Android 8 is no longer supported. Updating the OS is not an option on my Sony phone that I'm aware. I'm not upgrading the phone just for PBF to work! You've heard of climate change, right? My local council uses this app for it's parking machines. At present I can still use the app although it's not supported anymore, but I'm sure that won't continue. I won't be logging onto your web site from the phone as that's too much of a faff.

It is so easy to use and reminds you that parking is about to expire. I found it very convenient, straightforward, and handy to use. I'll definitely recommend you download this app. No more fiddling for coins or queuing to pay at the pay machine. Simply park your car and pay on your phone as you walk away or whilst still sitting in your car.

Worst payment experience ever. On being told that I had entered the wrong password, I attempted to reset the password multiple times, but the text message allowing me to do it never came, nor did the email message. I tried phoning them as a backup. I had to reset my pin and was told I had succeeded multiple times, only for the subsequent login to fail. As my third attempt, I went to their website and succeeded in paying as a guest. Whole thing took more than half an hour.

Worst experience!!! As I forgot my password, I chose the 'text a code to phone' option. It did not send it. I tried it at least 10 times. The phone call option didn't work either. In the end, after all the frustration and the wasted nearly half an hour, I had to miss the event I was going to go to, and I drove back home!!! Really frustrated!!! Also, when I last used it, it asked awfully lots of questions and the whole process just took ages.

Utter rubbish. I am not sure why I need to find a 'location code' when GPS, Glonass, BeiDou & Galileo have been able to globally provide location services. This was in a large MBTA parking lot with tons of spaces open. The sign stated to press a "PARK" button on the app which is not even there or in the menus. It seems like not only is testing seldomly done best but ergonomics and usability are barely considered. It would up taking between 10-15 minutes to pay at MBTA Riverside. And by then I had so little faith in the app I saved a screenshot just in case it was needed later. To get the location code I had to use Google which it still refused to take for a few minutes. The App worked well in the past but now it does not always seem to work. If you are able, save your money and park elsewhere when you see "PayByPhone' signs. Unfortunately some of these lots are tax payer funded and instead of hiring someone to work a booth they get to keep more of the parking fees. I will give them back 1 star for following up with peoples reviews. However some of the other negative reviews mention similar problems with older dates.

TLDR: You'll find a better parking spot long before you figure out the registration process. Just pay manually. The coding is bare minimum for what is probably a data mine. I never received a text confirmation. I checked and rechecked my registration information. The app has no user friendly features like autofill. It can't even figure out multiple phone number formats (you have to key the hyphens, and no, it doesn't tell you to do that).

This app almost never works for me. As soon as I hit pay, it gets stuck on the loading screen until I eventually force-close the app, restart it, and then MAYBE it will work if I try it a couple more times. When it works, it's very convenient, but I can almost always just buy a regular parking sticker before the app works for me.
