Generally great, but when I got a new phone it took a weeks for me to log back into the app. I kept getting a message that the email was incorrect (which it wasn't because it was the same address used to resest my password). Turns out that the new password I chose wasn't acceptable. If the alert had been more clear I wouldn't have wasted so much time trying to log into the app.

New app is HORRIBLE. The default should be "shop in store," not delivery.I'll never use a delivery or pickup service, yet items are placed in cart when they should only be on a list. It's difficult to find the "4 U" deal tab. I don't need a 2FA sign-in, and find it quite annoying. The item icons for clipping deals are too large, meaning it's necessary to scroll and/or swipe more just to see them all. I've been reading reviews on this new and NOT improved app, and see that many agree with me.

If I could I would give this app a minus 10. It used to be useful and now it's just plain frustrating. When I was at Vons several people checking out couldn't even figure out how to use the app to "clip" coupons. I built my shopping list on the app and some items jus disappeared. I ended up making a handwritten list. In short this app is a colossal waste of time.

Update: The app has been rendered mostly useless because you can no longer add the items from the digital weekly add categories to the shopping list! This means going through the ad and making a pen and pencil list. I tried contacting the app and got back a response that I could use the Just for u button to add items, which isn't what I asked. Prior review: This app would be more helpful if it was more like the Sprouts app that shows item prices and a running total of what you will spend.

The update is terrible to the point that I've decided to shop somewhere else. I used to be able to sync a grocery list with my wife, clip coupons if I cared enough, and quickly shop. The new app is so unintuitive that after one attempted use, that took 4x longer than it should have, my wife and I have decided to shop somewhere with a better app. Oddly enough this app has gotten progressively less user friendly over the last few updates. Its almost like someone is actively sabotaging it...

This app is awful, constantly monitoring your location. There is no way if disabling this either. On top of that the coupons don't even work, I clip coupons in the app or scan them at the store and the discount doesn't apply at the register. It's so frustrating and holds up the whole line. The app just makes the shopping experience worse. Cut it out with app only discounts, I won't buy the product because it's too difficult to get the discount and I won't pay full price knowing there's a coupon!

The new app is not as good as the old app. I wish they would never change the app. Harder to fine what you want on the websites. You can still get item that show you the aisle number to locate where the item is. You don't have to go all over the store looking for your items. I just wish the store prices would matches the prices from the apps. But it does not always calculate the items correctly at check out otherwise I'd give you 5. Great coupons. Sales not as good as before.

The app, which was automatically updated, is horrible. My list and rewards have disappeared, but worse than that is how difficult it is to use. I want to easily add items to my shopping list, for instance peanut butter. I don't need to scroll through every brand, quantity, regular or reduced fat, etc. I also used the old app for listing items that may not be sold by vons. Now I can't even figure out how to make a list. Please bring back the old app.

Update 09/28/21: The list is back but not very useful. Nothing from the ad can be put on the list, either directly or thru search. And the whole app is too cluttered visually. This is only good for online shopping & delivery now. They removed the list feature, only a cart for ordering. Coupons & deals too confusing and long. They ruined the best grocery app out there. I tried to use the chat feature. A blank page came up each time.

One crucial function seems to be missing from this new (April 2021) version: the ability to email my list of digital coupons. I always print out that emailed list and put it in the top part of my basket, so I can see it as I shop. The last thing I want to do is fumble with my hands on my phone as I shop. "EMail" must return to this app!!

There's a problem with on some items when you press the add button it says coupon no longer available when it clearly states experation on coupon 10-30 days out. If it's not available, why not remove the coupon?? I don't know alot about apps. And sometimes this program is extremely frustrating with how long it takes to go through it. Between this app., shopping and finding all the errors on my receipt, it feels like a part time job.

Offers great deals but having to add deals to my app has increased my shopping time by about 45 minutes! Sometimes I realize I've forgotten to add items and I have to do it in the store, where reception is spotty and it can take 5 minutes of standing still, attempting to add the item(s). I wish they would all automatically add just like the regular Vons deals. Love the extra deals and savings; love the $5 Fridays with $5 off the cart and $5 items - but having to add the Just4U takes too long!

I like the app but whenever you're not on wifi, it's impossible to add things to your cart, always an error code, even with full signal 4G. Same when there's high traffic on the app. So I can't add last minute purchases when I'm in the store, nor plan it in the car. Basically this app does the contrary of what the devs and management want, it doesn't push you to buy more, you just buy what you planned to from the very beginning and stick to your list because nothing else is possible.

I love Vons & the Von's app. However I gave it 3 stars because some things are difficult to find /use. No clear instructions. I would like the list to have the small boxes, where I'm able to just check off the items I need. Also, more clear instructions about the the rewards that are free. I really hope they fix those things in the app. Happy Holidays!

This new updated UI SUCKS!! I've been shopping at Vons more than usual over the years for the deals on the app but I won't be inclined to do that anymore due to this unfriendly user interface. Before, it was simple, quick, and easy to navigate. Now it's a mess. It consumes and waste too much of my valuable time trying to navigate in a reasonable amount of time.

The newest app update (April 2021) deleted EVERYTHING from my shopping list! So very frustrating when I get to the store to do my shopping and find out my list is gone. Not good, not good at all! Update May 8, 2021- I have deleted this app since it is completely useless to me now. It is frustrating to try to add items to my shopping list from the weekly ad; toggling between several tabs is too time consuming. I've sent several emails and no one seems to care. I'll shop elsewhere from now on.

Latency and annoyance are the first words that come to mind. Not to mention the rude and presumptive automatic tip for the delivery person. Previous purchases is also incomplete and at times not sourcing the correct data The original version of the app, was much easier to use. Here's a tip, your customer will enjoy shopping with you more, if the shopping app is easier to use - if the old version of the app is still available, publish that.

The new app is not usable. First problem: If you click on a coupon to try and read the terms and conditions, it just spins forever and never loads. Second problem: The new "grid" format for coupons is very hard on the eyes because you have to "zig-zag" back and forth to see anything. The list format was much better in the old app because you could just read in one direction. Third problem: It's impossible to find coupons by category. All the coupons are just bunched together in a huge list. Fourth problem: I used by able to search for coupons by name easily. For example, I could search for "free" and easily find all coupons with a free item. Now that's impossible because search is across all products (not just coupons) and it only seems to search the product names. Fifth problem: When I redeem a coupon, it doesn't disappear from my list of clipped coupons. Now I have no way of knowing what I can still redeem.
