Find the most beautiful hiking trails in your area or create personal tours with our route planner and track all your outdoor activities. Precise GPS navigation, detailed hiking maps for the entire Alpine region and other useful features bring you safely to your destination.

Find hikes or ski tours that suit you
The bergfex tours app contains around 200,000 hiking trails, ski tours, running routes and mountain bike trails throughout Europe. Detailed tour descriptions, topographic hiking maps for the entire Alpine region and filter options make it easy to find the ideal tour.

Tour planner and hiking navigation
You haven't found the perfect hiking or ski tour yet? Then use the bergfex tour planner. In just a few steps you can create your personal hike and let it navigate you to the summit. The precise GPS hiking navigator won't let you down even in the mountains.

Detailed maps
Our maps for the entire European Alpine region come from OpenStreetMap (OSM). This means that when planning your route and while hiking, you can be sure that you will find the right route thanks to regularly updated maps.

Tracking hiking routes and trails
Track the distance covered while hiking, ski touring, running or mountain biking and get comprehensive statistics such as duration, altitude metres, elevation profile, distance and speed. A heat map shows you all the activities you have recorded so far.

Route and fitness tracking combined
Keep track of your fitness level and activities! Optionally, you can wear a Bluetooth heart rate monitor while hiking, ski touring or other sports to get even more detailed information about your fitness level.

Garmin Connect, websync and GPX-import
Your hikes and planned tours are automatically synchronised with your bergfex account. Tracked activities are also displayed in Garmin Connect and Polar Flow. Self-created routes can be exported and imported via GPX file.

"A problem has occurred" everywhere. Can't download gpx, can't rename a route, sometimes can't even save it :/

works even offline! information is the best available. unfortunaltely UI for me is pretty random. i dont know how i got what i get and what i need to do to get it again or how to get straight to the bits i am looking for right now.

this app is way good and help me terraform the downtown North area all across the city and if you ask me we called in multiple levels of mapping on this one we're trying to improve people's walkabouts and provide safety is wherever they go so it's still important to get out and about so break out the mukluks shop at creations on main Street support the local population pizza for a change it's better than Boston Pizza better than any pizza known to mankind as far as I am concerned

Terrible terrible terrible, this application has no sense for the user, i can't create a tour, i have to insert by myself the level difference??!?!?! Whaaaat????

I am more than willing to purchase an app, even if it's more expensive than the average competitor, but I refuse to pay for the same app again and again every year. No matter how good an app is, I will not get conned into a subscription.

Works very well to track hikes. We have found some nice hikes using this app. It would be great if it would work in more regions.

Very good app and great map material with a lot of details also in not so high frequently accessed areas. Nice feature with a warning if you leave a planned track.

Tracking does not work on my Oneplus 6. Have turned battery optimisation off. Unable to zoom in map past a certain level. Cannot see track overlay or my location

A buggy app that shuts down frequently. Insufficiently reliable as a hiking app, thus not worth the price for the pro version. Developers, I recommend you sort it out!

Good app but it would perfect if it is possible to have a widget for the screen with the current location and choosen emergency numbers in the case of an accident.

It is not stable. Tracking stops without any reason and without notifying me. It happened many times. In this way I totally lost my trackings for many days.

could be good but very laggy and freezes way too often. oftentimes it says "activity tracking" and shows position and path on the map, but when I finish the hike only the first few minutes were actually logged.

For some reason the the map becomes invisible when zooming closer.. was really annoying on the trip, especially because i made it offline available... Also the tracking didn't work properly (Xperia 5)

It is sad that I have to give this rating, because the content of the app (and website) is really good, but: - The app freezes my phone very often. - Sometimes the route description loads, sometimes not. - The favorites are not always stored, even if I'm logged in.

The map itself is a good one, perfect for Hungary too, but the search feature cannot find ANYTHING and there is no voice navigation. Komoot app is ten times better.
