AutoMate makes common services available to while you're driving. With AutoMate, you get the right information at the right time, so you can focus on the road.

Visually it's a great looking app, I just can't get it to display in the car instead of Android Auto,. This is on a 2017 Vauxhall Astra. I'd happily use it over AA but not being able to project to show the display on the car screen is a big thing for usage, I even purchased the extras all of them thinking that would do it but still the same,. Just watch if you buy this as I don't think it tells you that you can't connect it to display on car. Audio etc work thru it fine to car just no display

Interface and behavior are really good, however, while it reads incoming texts (you have to tap the message unless you use auto-read, it doesn't ask you), if you try to reply, it loads the voice command tool and records your message, but there's no way to send! Voice command seems wonky in general, I can't get it to play something different on spotify with voice.

Some of the limitations of this app seem to be with how Google manages Android apps. It would be great if this could correctly control the default launcher when in car mode but all driving apps have this issue (except googles own Android auto which the app version doesn't support as many navigation apps.) There is still a long way to go too make this better, but it still is one of the best car dashboard apps available.

I paid for all premium features. The app keeps crashing. The music integration is terrible with it no being able to play or skip music in samsung music. When searching through google maps in landscape the keyboard doesn't dissappear so you can't select the correct destination. The home buttons are too small to use while driving. Whole app overhaul needed but good idea as android auto for phone screens now unsupported

Nice app, it's good however it's often that it will say I'm speeding however I'm not (so app thinks it's 30mph when it's actually national speed which is dangerous in itself). Also, after that, it I'm playing music, it doesn't auto unpause so I have to manually do it myself. Again, that can be dangerous. But nice layout and UI, quite handy however from the above issues, I can't really use it.

So far this is the best non-Android Auto launcher i've found. I am disappointed because I bought this app and it won't let me restore my purchases. When I click restore purchases it gives a error and when I try to buy them again it says I own them :-( ... Also, biggest issue from a programmatic standpoint is that when you update any options in the settings, they don't take effect until a relaunch of the app. I believe this app is very promising, please try to address the bugs, thanks!

Before Android Auto and the updated Google maps, this was by far the best app out. Unfortunately, it just doesn't function as fluidly as it should. Great cencepts but the poor execution of the app integrations are too much of a distraction while driving.

I'm not giving this five stars because I installed a specifically to control my music in a auto friendly way. My car doesn't have the ability to activate Android auto so I wanted to control music in horizontal mode but it did not control YouTube music so I uninstalled. Would have been four stars except for the fact that it defaulted to kilometers per hour instead of reading the current location and setting the initial setting based on location.

Looks good. Doesn't seem to function well at all. Default maps don't locate you then crash the app and using Google maps only works if you stay out of the app making it somewhat pointless as a driving app. Certainly wouldn't touch premium feature on an app that's most basic functionality doesn't work.

This is an excellent app, works really well once you set it up. I especially like the motion detection actions, they are brilliant. My only issue is that I would like to be able to set the sat nav sound to output to the phone only, but still have bluetooth connected to the car for audio and phone calls. This would make it five star for me

This app works (almost) perfectly on my android head unit. The only thing I would request is an option to increase the size of the media buttons on the music screen, they are too small to hit the buttons accurately and safely while driving. Will give 5 stars if this is improved.

Do not recommend. The speedometer does not work, freezes. The map is slow to update,. intermittently unable to search. The speedometer slow to update. Speed cameras slow to update. The phone app cannot end calls without closing the app. Too many bugs for a paid app! In app purchase so no refund. Do not purchase premium! EDIT: I have contacted for a refund as suggested, but no reply. Submitted bug report too.

I love this app. It is very well designed easy to customise with favourite apps. It would be my preferred app to use in the car if only it worked with Google maps it crashes unless you start Google maps first and does not work together in the app. The inbuilt route and map function is not very good as it does not show you a route or alternate choices of route.

I really wanted it to work. I liked the uncluttered, simpler layout. Wanted to set it as default launcher in my head unit. To do so I needed to pay for the pro features which I gladly did, just to find that is not possible to set it that way in my radio. It just doesn't show as an option either in android or the unit settings. Reading user reviews now I know this app is defunct. Too bad.

Can't change playlist/albums without it opening the music app (not ideal when driving) Google maps integration is bad, no synchronization of saved places. Miui related issues (maybe): headsup messages from the system are still visible, automate doesn't show the notifications from apps (like whatsapp). Android Auto isn't pretty either, but still a bit more convenient than this app.

Would be 5 stars but the speed tracker on the maps view works then sometimes each feet it turns to 0 then back to my actual speed it doesn't do it all the time tho so in reality for me it's a 4.5 stars hopefully the speed tracker can be fixed a little but it still works and is very accurate regardless so I'm still a happy customer:)

lots of useful features but for me the location and speed limit never changes from the location where I start my journeys. This means I get warnings of 'speed limit 30mph' on 70mph motorways. it always detects the correct start location, it just won't update until the next journey. Also, the media player has a mind of it's own when choosing which media app to open and which track to play at startup. it almost never picks the track I last had open.

Has potential and looks good, but as mentioned by others, setting a custom map app (Google or Waze for example) doesn't do anything. I also paid for premium functionality (setting the app as my launcher) but it didn't work and heard nothing back from their customer support. Between that and the fact the app's not been updated for over a year, it looks like nobody's maintaining it anymore
