Not bad but it could be better. I have chosen eWelink for my home, got some device which work well. Then need to use water valves to automate my garden irrigation, and no way to find a decent valve to operate under eWelink. I have then adopted smart home. Last upgrade 17/10: I can't get anymore "dark mode" no matter what i set on my phone, most of apps implement dark background but eWelink, and a night time or inside home, looking it make me blind!, thats why 3 star only. Fix the bug.

LAN Mode - works sometimes. Timers - only work with internet connection. Scenes - only work with internet connection. There's no battery-powered RF / WiFi button interface option for connecting mechanical switch. There is no ability to add http stream API doesn't work well.

I'd love to say it works great, but it really doesn't. And can anyone tell me why a simple light switch app needs a subscription model? It's a dam switch!! But has more updates and 'new' pointless unreliable features that a vast majority won't use after a few days so I give up, there are better solutions that don't try and force your wallet open 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good app, but scheduling by time on Redmi note 8 doesn't have any actions to do. Can you fix that? - the problem that I tested once turn off scheduled event and that just disabling in my phone app without any actions.

It works, all sensors and data is reported correct. The big downside in this app is te inability to disregard heartbeat signals from door/window sensors. If a door is closed and you turned on the alarm function, don't be surprised to be alarmed a couple of times a night because the door sensor reports the door is still closed. Also, no missed heartbeat reporting (sensor down).

"Failed. Network connection error." Error persisted after force stop and even rebooting the phone. Resolved after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Thankfully I didn't have to re-pair anything.

App works ok, but some devices like the sonoff micro USB refuses to connect, suppliers replaced it twice with same result for no apparent reason, just keeps asking me to connect to the devices WiFi and it connects but something is not communicating properly

This is still my most sluggish Android App. It's still taking at least 5 seconds to populate with my Sonoff kit - Google Home shows my Sonoff devices in a fraction of the time, surely your purpose-built app should outperform Google Home? I'm on full fibre with decent wifi speeds and I can't understand why the app can't 'remember' my setup - if I just close it for a few seconds, it hauls itself up by its bootstraps in the same slow manner. Can we expect snappier in the future?

Worst app/devices ever. Devices FAILED to pair. After days of trying one paird but FAILED to go online. Other switch that was already online FAILED to update firmware either at 20% or at 90% . If you try to use an old ewelink app to see if you can fix some pairing issues it will say let login FAILED. And the feedback in the app is not being sent ever keep saying FAILED to send and to try later but never gets sent. Should I continue? I dont think I ever encountered an app worst then this.

Used eWelink for few years. Its so slow, asks to login again too frequently, almost in any scenario its quicker to get up, walk to device and switch it manually tab wait for eWelink and login. Switched to the Google Home app, it works much faster.

What is the point of having all notifications on, but never get any. I have the sonoff device to let me know the open/closed status of my garage doors. All alerts are on, but I have to manually go into the app to see when my doors were opened and closed instead of the push notifications telling me. Very irritating, very useless.

Temp status doesn't refresh automatically when app opens, must pull down every time to refresh! Garbage, 6 schedule limits for a week is a joke, very poor input design all taking 10 times longer! Linking with Fb so unprofessional, smart options very poor with no further development, buggy and unreliable, sensors have much more potential which is completely wasted. Now they've added additional adverts in home view, is that to thank me for spending over £100 on your gear? Never again! GARBAGE!!!

Hi When using loop to delay the entry of current, it does not work well. When we start build now on scene to do notification if the electrical switch is off, it does not send the message on time. Sometimes he sends it, sometimes he doesn't, and some send it late.

I have the led strip and the firmware updated and now it won't connect anymore. Im not able to connect via the ewlink app.. It says connection failed. I see the device but I'm not able to pair with it. It worked fine and when it came on again I see an automatic firmware update was done. I am on a 2.4G network and everything is as it is supposed to be but now it doesn't want to pair. This is very frustrating. How do I fix this?

AVOID IF YOU CAN. Extremely complex app to use and unintuitive. All support guides refer to long since obsolete versions of app so are of no use or help whatsoever, worse that they add to the confusion. As a challenge, try and link the app to Samsung or something other than Google. Good luck. SUMMARY, a demonstration of poor programming and failure to further support and develop the app.

Handy app to controll my irrigation system and pool pump. SUGGESTION: For irrigation I have to adjust each week depending on rainfall and forecast. Sadly I often forget and water too much or forget. Would be awesome if the app could integrate with one of the weather API forecast services to autoadjust irrigation or at least make suggestions or reminders to adjust. Could be a great selling point! "Simple and smart irrigation that watches the weather for you and saves you money!"

When I try to download the consumption data by tapping the download button in the top right corner nothing happens and there is no evidence that anything ever gets downloaded. I looked for new files in my storage but saw nothing. I also cannot use the eWeLink 'Help and Feedback' option to report the problem because there is no option available to do so.

Had everything set up with Ewelink and IFTTT. Now both apps require subscriptions. I pay for too many subscriptions as it is. If this is the future of modern technology, then I guess it's time to chuck it all and pull out my old x10 modules. They still work just like they did 30 years ago. The least you can do is add a date (month and day) setting to the scheduler. I'm sick to death of greedy app developers!
