why, the app is horrible with this Oct update. everything is moved. I can't make edits to an estimate until I go online and edit the tax rate. no way it seems to adjust it from the app. NOT user friendly or intuitive at all. I'm sure I'll find a ton more problems as I use it. over an hr now trying to set the tax rate and still can't write an invoice.

Can't send invoice through text. Freezes up then you lose all progress on work. I had a three page estimate that i had to start over. There is NO save button. You have to rely on auto save. Which doesn't work all the time. Lack of customization of invoices and estimates. Estimates won't hold created Estimate number and continue sequence. Quickbooks online sucks! The desk top version is so much better. But you don't get it on the go...

It seems the app is completely disconnected from the online software. A while back, I noticed that I couldn't login to Quickbooks online. It said my account didn't exist (after using it for 3 years). After calling 4 times, they claimed they found a security issue and closed my account. After many more frustrating phone calls, my account was reopened, but the app did not recognize this change. The app still says my account doesn't exist, yet I can log in on desktop. I'm beyond frustrated.

QBO is great... however, the app sucks! The info on the home page is rarely if ever correct. Paid invoices show as still do, P&L info is incorrect compared to what it shows on the website. Now I can't edit downloaded transaction to add an image of my receipts. Plus, it's no longer showing all of my accounts when I go to categorize a transaction. What the heck happened?!

Hi! It is very difficult to choose items back and forth. I would like to have the opportunity to choose all what I need at the moment (pressing the item by item) like use to make it in the Ipad, but it change, too. Now, for me and my sales force, Quikbook get back years and make us loose time and money. Please, review your system. We like to continue with Quikbook, because we know it, but go ahead, not back in time. Thanks!

It has issues. When I turn on the milage tracker I later find out that it turned itself off and never tracked my miles. I thought it was just me but it did it a few times over weeks. They offer a discounted monthly price for uber drivers but it is more than what I already pay for it. My bookkeeper has other issues with it so I have to find app thay can do things without all these issues.

Constantly having new issues pop up. I have contacted the developer via email as advised with no response. I am no longer able to send invoices or estimates. Services and products selection is required, but am unable to select those options. The buttons are darkened out and unable to select. About to move on from QuickBooks. Even desk top version is constantly changing and not for the better...just when you think you have figured it out...poof...start over!

A great app. I am a trucker running the lower 48 states so this app is essential for keeping real-time tracking on trips that have paid out and expenses incurred. I would, however, like to see features such as account to account transfers, recurring expenses, bill pay and access management as is available with the desktop version, hence the 4 stars.

I have the same issues many others seem to have. I run a mobile repair business and rely heavily on the app to create and update customers and invoices, receive payments and signatures, etc. This app is constantly letting me down. I'd say at least 95% of the time it only loads a few of my many customers and invoices. The invoices it does show will not load any details or let me edit. When I try to create an invoice it says there's an error and to contact support, who hasn't been able to help me.

Been using this app for three and a half years and it works minimally well. But it often loses company information and I have to resync that takes forever. It has alot less ability than using the browser version. All in all I find myself using the browser when using mobile and it isn't anywhere close to being optimized for mobile and it's still easier to use. You'd think a company the size of intuit would have their act together and produce a workable app.

The interface is really cute. On my laptop, online has consistent data. I have used this for over 3 years and one thing that seems to be VERY consistent is the phone app is boo boo. It never pulled data accurately. Whenever I need to pull overdue invoices for a client, the app fails (it will not show them). I have to pull over and pull out my computer. That's stupid. Intuit has tremendous resources and they always have various bugs and the app has always been slow.

Just started using Quickbooks Online thus year. So far so good. Great for my small business. Being able to bill paperless and accept online payments gives me a more updated professional look. Plus I love the ability to scan all my receipts in and it keeps track of everything. No more hand written invoices. Customers have been very receptive. One suggestion I'd like to see that many other apps have is the ability for customers to tip. I provide services and would definitely be a plus to have it.

I'm finding there are enough differences between the PC based experience and the mobile app to make the mobile app almost useless. On top of the $30 monthly fee I'm seeing I have to wait weeks for deposits to clear. ( Oh they can be one or two days for %1 fee) . Given the numerous difficulties I'm faces with QB it's not worth that investment and I'm going to be looking for a new software program. Yes even if it costs more I rather have one that is put down in a cut and dry fashion.

The app itself is very limiting and is not from my bookkeeper standpoint as very convenient. The only thing I typically do on here is view information. I can't even update an invoice with a discount line item because it won't let you input a negative amount in the app... that is just the tip of the iceberg of features lqcking in the mobile app. QuickBooks Online could be great, but just with the pop-ups and ads on their web platform it's enough to make me want to go back to the desktop version.

App has become unusable. I used to be able to use the app to quickly categorize transactions but that function has completely ceased to work. It won't pull up any employee names and only pulls a partial list of vendors. Sometimes the expense type category is completely blank and sometimes it's partial as well. On the rare occasion I can categorize something, I get an error message when saving. I can use the app to track mileage and that always works. Otherwise, the app has turned into garbage.

It's convenient for some things, but really it's missing one of the most important features of the online portal - there's no way to track billable hours in the app. Edit: someone was nice enough to respond that the quickbooks essentials subscription did have time keeping ability. I do have the essentials subscription, but time keeping is still not available in the mobile app. That was the point of my first review.

I've been trying to use this app for months and months. It doesnt work, and nobody has done anything about the problems even though there are numerous complaints and bad reviews. I'm getting ready to stop paying for QuickBooks and find something else. I mainly wanted to us the app for taking pictures of receipts, but due to the syncing issues, I can't submit more than one receipt picture without the app hanging or freezing. I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache, etc. with no luck.

When this app works, it's fantastic. It's so much easier to use and faster than the browser version. That being said, I consistently encounter too many issues that make it unreliable for me. The app will often freeze or hang when saving invoices. Sometimes, my customers don't load properly, so I can't search for them. The most egregious failure, however, is when I've taken all the steps up to taking a payment, and instead of allowing me to swipe or enter card details, I arrive on a white screen.
