I do not like the new layout. It is too difficult to find my favorites. I cannot sign into my account since the new update, I can only use the website. Keeps telling me my password is incorrect. Tech support tells me to use the website instead of the app. Difficult to sign into the website because of the recaptcha nonsense at every sign in. They fixed the sign in problems. Still can't find my favorites...I have to do a search each time.

This app is great for online purchases. Instore though. I never see anything from it. My card is linked and I have linked the deals but nothing is ever shown. I have used the "missing cash back" feature and all it does is tell me that it could take up to 7 days to see and if I don't to email a picture of the receipt. What's the point of linking the deals and my card if I'm constantly having to go back and send more things in.

Best way to earn cash back shopping at all of my favorite places. They add new stores often and have double, even triple cash back deals sometimes. They even automatically apply coupons/discounts the store may have available at the time so you don't miss out on savings. You can't go wrong shopping with the Rakuten app! Seriously, who doesn't like to get real money back for the things they purchase?!

1. Several of the features which are available on the website is not available in the app. 2. The app doesn't show me shopping older than 3 months. So, it's impossible to track older payments like hotel stays, that remains in pending status until after the stay is complete. However, by the time the hotel stay is complete, that shopping trip is not visible in the "My Account" at all. So, you can't really track if you're actually getting any cash back for that.

The app was good at first. Now a lot of merchants like Amazon are no longer participating with Rakuten for cash back. Also, looking back at past purchases months back, I just noticed that I never received cash back balance as intended. I submitted a ticket to support and got a response asking for tons of information about the purchase (order number, subtotal, total, dates, itemized billing statement, etc.). Forget it. I don't have time to waste just for $2 bucks and change. Uninstalling.

It annoyed me that I had to keep retyping what I was looking for because the is no bar that shows up when you've already typed something in previously. If I typed something too long it would go through, the loading button glitches until you shorten your search. They dont give but less than 50 cents on gun parts which are over priced and hard to find the right one because it won't work correctly when you search it. If I could give no stars, I would.

Rakuten is Great and would be Superb with a few adjustments. Just my thoughts. 1. Allow one to turn off the request to auto-fill information. (I personally don't want my info saved so please stop asking). 2. Allow one the option to save up their money earned and cash in when they choose to. (Now this maybe possible with the credit card but for those who just use the regular services that would be nice). Again really Great app!

Almost unusable at this point. Have been using this app and website for YEARS, and it has gotten progressively more glitchy. So slow to use and shop and often just freezes completely. Not sure it's worth using any longer with similar services available with better usability as it stands currently. If you have stress/anxiety, this will drive you up a wall.

Almost every store on the app freezes while trying shop every single time. Finish line is especially worthless on here. If you can get to check out without serious delays, consider yourself lucky. I use to love it, now it's only a pain to even try and navigate any store. Not worth the frustration. If what you are looking up isn't on the very first page, you will not be able to it no matter the store.

When trying to shop in Old Navy (or any of the Gap brands), whenever I add a product to my cart and click "continue shopping" and then click the back button to return from the product page to browse, the app gives me a "too many redirects" error. In addition, whenever I try to sign into my Gap account, it keeps telling me that I didn't enter my email address (I did). This is infuriating, given we are on one of the biggest shopping days of the year. I may need to use the desktop version to make my purchase and then submit a ticket to get the app cash back amount, since the app is clearly useless today.

App slows down your whole shopping trip. I've messaged them several times about how the app slows me down to almost dial up speed. They always email back excuses and try to make it my fault. None of the other purchasing apps have this problem on my phone. On my last shopping experience the app wouldn't allow credit card info into the secure checkout box. So after over an hour of trying to get it to work I logged into a different app and the purchase went through. It's not me it's the app!!

Missing Shopping Trips in My Account. I really enjoy this app. I watched the commercial for years and thought it was to good to be true. But finally started using it. I've gotten over $200 cash back in the last 12 months! As for the app... I haven't seen my Shopping Trips in My Account for months. In order to access it, I have to go to How to Use Ebates, click the Related Articles, click the My Shopping Trips, Cash Back & Payment History to see my trips. And then the font and look of the app is so different, it looks like a different app. So I updated my app. Unstalled it and reinstalled it thinking I had a glitch and outdated form of the app. But the reinstalled version I just did right now is the same. I do love the look of the newer font and layout in that section. Hopefully that's what the whole app will look like as soon!

I absolutely love this app! Especially during double cash back. So easy to get cash back for shopping. This is the best app I've used so far and I use several. I give it four stars only because I've had a few shopping trips I didn't receive cash back upon order completion but all I did was send them my order number and shopping trip number and my cash back was added. So I do have to keep track of my valid shopping trips. Aside from that issue I've never had any problems.

It's pretty decent if you remember to go through the app each and every time you shop. Which for me is every single time because of of lack of transportation and the pandemic. There needs to be a way to get credit for purchases without having to constantly open this app. Maybe have email scanning or email forwarding an option to get credit.

Terrible on cell phone! I signed up during transition from Ebates to Rakuten. It was good, easy to use. Since it's become Rakuten the cell phone app is so slow and glitchy I've given up on it. Also I've noticed some of my pending rebates just disappear. No explanation. I've started taking pictures of the screen with my pending rebates and information. It's overall quite disappointing because the problems are execution of the site not the concept. It's not my phone nor my OS it's the APP.

I love, love, love Ebates/Rakuten! It really pays you to shop. It doesn't pay in all departments but it does pay. Each small amount adds up....even though the amounts are small...it's more than what I would have received if I didn't use it. I had an issue where a purchase was not showing up, I contacted them with a screenshot of my purchase and they credited my account. Thanks Rakuten, I love free money...looking forward to seeing new businesses added!

The referral program?!? They don't want to pay you. I referred someone over a month ago and we've both been going back and forth through email about a billing address screenshot that has been sent numerous times. And now they've just stopped answering us! The app freezes all the time. I try to use it every time I shop online but it's so slow I just give up and shop without it.

The app kept messing up. I tried several different stores, and none of the items would show up. The filters would not stay in place and several of the screens before I could even really get started were completely blank. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the app and the same thing happened. No matter what store I went to in the app, absolutely NO products would show up!
