Description of Amazon A to Z

Amazon A to Z gives you access to all the tools to manage your work-life at Amazon. Use the app to manage your profile information, submit time off requests, check your schedule, claim extra shifts, see the latest news, and more.

Getting started:

• As an Amazon hourly Associate, download the A to Z app
• Login with your Amazon login credentials (not your personal Amazon account)
• Update your profile if needed with your phone number and emergency contact
• Verify your direct deposit information
• Configure your notification preferences to stay in the know

After getting the basics out of the way, A to Z will be your portal to everything from schedule management to getting your Amazon.com discount code.

Feature highlights:

• Time: submit time off requests, check your accrual balances, and claim voluntary extra time or time off
• Schedule: view in/out times, upcoming shifts, and calendar
• Pay: view pay, tax, and direct deposit information

For the people who work at Amazon or just want to see what is going on, AtoZ is quite good. A little confusing at first, a new user will have to poke around a bit to get aquanted but overall fairly easy to use. Updates, stories, and events all related to Amazon and its workers.

App great, but working for Amazon is a interestingly robust experience. One time a girl told to that she used to work for Amazon, and after she worked for a while she cancelled all her services associated with Amazon and never buys from them. She also said, only those who work there understand the reasons why she cancelled and avoids buying at Amazon. The final story is that she's happy to not work there anymore.

When I get shift alerts and then click on the notification, it's gone. It lags and takes too long to load when I open the app. From the time it takes to open the app, and the time it takes to load, all of the shifts are gone. And yes, I check to see if the app needs to be updated, and it doesn't.

Good app but could use so improvements. The app is still to slow in my opinion also they should make the app have a notification sound option that you could turn on so when new shifts get posted the app would send you a notification sound that the app has new shifts.

Worthless if you aren't around 5G or Wifi making it impossible to view the shifts right when they are posted. After waiting 5-10 mins after trying to reload the screen to get the error message and by the time it showed the posted shifts they are mostly all taken.

It helps me keep updates for work. I just wish when I get the messages that all the shifts were not gone. I Mean, I have the app opened and the shifts popped up. I open the shifts and it's gone.

8/30/23. So can't view any time off options. Continuely getting a 404 error. Can't do shout-outs at.all. Have been using the app for years. Highly disappointed. Would give it 0 if it were possible. 5/21Currently, I can't view my schedule, a clock in/out option or any of my time. What in the actual heck is going on?? I was able to view it just fine earlier jn the day! I am tempted to uninstall/reinstall and aee if that fixes it.

Since the last update, I have not been able to log on via the app. It is asking for amazon alias (instead of amazon login) upon entering the page just refreshes and bring me back to the same page. I am able to log in from other devices and the browser so the issue is definitely with the app.

Horrible!! I get notifications, texts, and emails telling me about opportunities (shifts) available at premium pay. But but when you go on the app to find them they are not marked. I asked HR about it and they just its only available on certain devices. I have tried on brand new android and IPhones, plus a desktop. YOU CANT SEE IT!! No wonder you have to send out so many texts to get filled, bc people cant find them.

The company uses the app to access your phone. My notifications get messed with, my volume always gets silence and I can't have that because I have a kid with health problems. Ever since I've downloaded I repeatedly have problems with my phone being slow, laggy, photos coming up missing and I have to reset my phone daily leaving work inorder to use my data.

This app is extremely slow to load ANYTHING. Cannot use an older version (which loaded fine) because the app check for older versions. I could hardly use the HR chat option because the app slowed to a crawl then closed the chat window. This needs to be looked into.

This app is absolute garbage for what it should be. A multibillion dollar corporation should have an app that works flawlessly for its associates- it's literally the least they could do. You'd think with how much money amazon has that they'd program apps to run smoothly, but no. This app is constantly buggy and SLOW. Half the time, I can't even get to the parts of the app I want without it buffering and loading for more than TWO TO FIVE minutes. It is unacceptable. And that's just ONE reason.

I mean what can you expect from amazon employee app it's slow and sometimes things don't load. When it's slow it's almost impossible to get any VTO or VET that pops up. The HR live chat I had A LOT of problems with. As I was communicating with the agent it kept crashing and was slow to the point I could barely type. I don't recommend the text chat but the call function is fine.

This app is pretty great when it works properly. The recent maintenance has been going on for far too long and has really messed with the functionality of the app. Also, myself and all of my co-workers, do not appreciate the video ads that can be skipped after a countdown. This is very unprofessional for a work app. We already have a news and notification section for announcements. We don't need these video ads. They pop up when trying to clock in and out, which has caused me to be late.

The app is a little clunky, but it works pretty well and is user friendly. I do wish there was a settings section where you could make UI changes. Such as defaulting to 12 time or 24 time, it's a struggle for me now that it defaults to am/pm or choose what kind of notifications you get a pop up notification for. For example, I'd love to be notified about overtime shifts but we get daily site updates that are largely irrelevant. Otherwise the app has gotten a lot better with some recent updates.

This app was fine before they started using "pop-ups" on opening screen. Was great for clocking in an checking schedule, but can't get past stupid "pop on" screen to use clock in screen or check schedule. Takes too long to do anything when you need to be able to clock in quickly. App was perfect for all those things and nice to have some updates, but adding anything more like "pop ups" that can't be removed quickly or even at all to use has made this app now useless. Get rid of the "pop up"!

It worked well before they started changing it around this summer. Since the last update, about 75% of the time I try to get into the app, I get a white screen that says A to Z is unable to load and check my network connection, even though my network connection is working for everything else! The only way I can get into it when that happens is to restart my phone or delete the app and reinstall. This is ridiculous. Can you fix it?

Can't clock in on my phone using the app anymore since I upgraded to a new Pixel 6 phone. Every time I click on the clock in button it loads shortly and then goes to a screen that says the app is unavailable. I literally have to close the app out out and refresh. Then I can go back in to use the app again. Please fix this bug! Very frustrating.
