My experience has been the following: This app has too much room for improvement. User experience is the most frustrating of any I've used to date. Help desk isn't helpful and will brush you off when you have a valid issue. The responses are dismissive and don't offer any insight. They've been aware of issues for months; however, they're still unresolved. There are too many technical issues. You'll waste your time and money having to open tickets and return items to the store. I recommend Ibotta

I have been writing to support for help and no one response. When I open the app to scan in stores the screen is blank I've tried unstalling and reinstalling and nothing. This has been going on for weeks. I don't know what kind of an update was done but it was a bad one. I've been scanning since 2015 and love the app, so please fix this problem. My husband is having the same issue. I am missing out on a lot of walk in and in store scanning.

Everything started out wonderfully. Then like most things they went from great to horrible quick. It claimed products didn't match when I scanned them. Purchased items took a bit longer to give points and now videos won't even load when you hit play. Trying to shop online simply says the servers are busy to try again later. Isn't the point of shopping online to save time not keep trying again later. I even tried deleting and installing the app again, not any better. Can't even get in my account.

this is a great app when it works correctly. Great rewards & not much work to get them. The app has issues kinda glitchy won't play videos that offer points. Doesn't recognize the correct product scanned at times. A new issue is that if you don't view each item in discover every day it shows them as viewed when they may have points in them. I love it though.

This app is slow and glitchy. It takes forever for scans to load, which drains my phone battery. Half of my scans seem like they don't work, and it says that it doesn't recognize the product. There's no way to report this issue in the app that I'm aware of. I'm definitely scanning the right products, so it almost feels like a scam. Please fix the scans! That's the biggest issue I have with this app.

Lack luster. Takes FOREVER to earn enough points for a reward. I live in upstate NY and many of the product to scan or purchase for point aren't in my local stores or the items aren't anything I would purchase. I've had the app for almost 2 years and only earned a few small gift cards. Not sure if I want to bother with it any more. Not really worth my time.

Its actually pretty fun and its incredibly easy and straightforward to use. Whenever I'm out I log in to see if there are locations nearby to visit. Going inside to find and scan things is like a scavenger hunt, and you become familiar with products you may have never considered. You get more poibts for buying an item than simply scanning it but you dont have to buy anything at all!

I have always looked forward to using this app weekly. For a while now, I have been unable to get points when clicking on a video. When I click on it, it automatically goes away. I even try to refresh it several times but NOTHING. Can you please fix this glitch or whatever it is? Also, when I click on an item to scan, it says that I am scanning the wrong item. Clearly I am not scanning the wrong item, because I'm clicking the same exact item they are showing me on the app.

I like most of what this app provides, the drawbacks are as follows: 1) Sometimes it's slow to scan an item, even when my internet connection is solid. 2) Some items fail to scan, even though I made sure that its the right product and edition. 3) Some places which give you walk-in points fail..like Marshall's or TJ Max. I have submitted tickets for these but they never seem to fix 'em. 4) Unless you submit receipts, then it takes forever in order to accumulate enough points to get rewarded.

The app kept crashing today so I tried to redownload it. Then it said it didn't recognize my device (same one as always) so I clicked through the link sent to my email and it wouldn't let me click "Next" after I plugged in my sign in info. I closed the app and tried to log in again the same thing happened again and again and again. I have $27 worth of kicks that I have been saving for a long time. Someone needs to fix all of these bugs the app keeps having.

The updated version that I had downloaded has too many bugs and is not enjoyable because of it. The videos are not playing. When I click on the categories under the discovery it alawys say technical difficulties so I'm unable to look through the different products. I used to like this app before I updated. The new up date has a lot of bugs. Please fix so I can enjoy the app like I did before.

Honestly I used to like this app it worked great for a year. But for the past 4 Months it has completely stopped working. I uninstalled and re installed, made sure location and Bluetooth were on like I'm supposed too, and it will not let me get kicks.. I reached out to customer service over 10 times and nobody has helped me fix anything. I went shopping and use my debit card that is attached to it and I'm still not getting the kicks it's very frustrating.

I was having problems not getting a verification email to register my device. I reached out to customer support and they sent me an email with instructions to get my device registered...boom just like that I'm back in. No points were lost, and I'm back to getting kicks. No app is perfect, yes there are changes that have been made over the years that I don't love, but have you looked around in the world? It's changing constantly. I would still recommend using the app.

I was trying to figure out how linked credit cards work for earning kicks, but still wasn't sure even after an email from a shopkick representative. I don't think the directions are clear enough. Too confusing to figure out, and I feel like I'm wasting my time. I was hoping that I could get kick points automatically by just linking my credit cards and making purchases anywhere both online and in store. Fetch app is much better and it's super simple.

Something has changed and it's not good. I'm tired of clicking to watch videos for nothing. I'm tired of scanning an item only to get message it's not right - when it's exactly what's in the picture! No easy way to report anything on the spot, so I move on and eventually just give up because it's just not worth it . . . I realize the pandemic has changed things, which is why I rarely scan in a store anymore, but geez, getting a couple of daily kicks at home is too frustrating amymore.

For those who are afraid it is a scam, it is not! It takes some work, but the rewards are real. EDIT: still real rewards, but have not been able to get walk-ins at Best Buy for over a month even when they show (emailed but no response), and now have to clear the cache between every scan because everything grays out after a single scan, even when it should not. Definite problem with the app right now and would appreciate answers and a fix.

Used to work great, but hasn't worked for months. I can no longer get walk-in kicks. I have tried sitting for 10-15 mins, and nothing. I have tried multiple stores, multiple locations, tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling, used two separate Android phones, and it doesn't work. It works no problem on my wife's iPhone. When we are in the same store she get kicks, but I cannot. I'm not sure what they did to the app, but it doesn't work on for me.

At first this app was straight forward and worked great. I moved to a rural location and now I'm lucky if I can get it to work 1 out of every ten times I go into a store and submitting receipts is even more impossible. Seriously considering just uninstalling it and saying bye. Rapid expansion doesn't help if your app doesn't do what its supposed to.
