App is pretty basic and you can't expect to find everything in a timely manner. I'm a member of Sam's club also and there app is so much more advanced, the scan and go feature is a game changer. Not having to load then unload to scan reload then unload again in the car for the privilege of talking to one of your "friendly" cashier's is nice.

Costco seriously ruined the app! It's not at all user-friend and difficult to find where things are located in the app. I wish they would go back to the way it used to be a few months or more back. I hate it and try to avoid using it if I can. Also, why can't they put the member only savings on the app at least a few days before its effective, not that I could find it. I usually go shopping the day it starts but like to "clip" the coupons as a reminder of what I want but can't do that.

It's Costco!! I've been a member somewhere around 30 years. Doesn't really matter, I very rarely have an issue with anything involving Costco. The few times I've had a problem, they have always stepped up and made it right. Well, the new updates to what can be done with the app are good and I haven't experienced any problems or glitches. So, thank you Costco! Yet again, you've taken great care of your members and simplified some things as well as made looking at past invoices super easy.

Extreme difficulty updating membership card numbers, default locations, delivery and other information. Love the concept, hate that it took me half an hour on the phone with support, in order to use the app for shopping. (That said, the support member was lovely and as confused as I was, as to why this was so difficult.)

The app never remembers my saved warehouse and delivery ZIP code. Every week, I have to re-set it because the app changed it to whatever location it thinks I'm at, and worse, it's never based on my actual phone location but on whatever it thinks my WiFi location is. Another thing that consistently happens consistently is that I'm logged into the app and use the app's Card feature to enter the store, but when I open it again to check out, it logs me out, forcing me to pull out my actual card.

Terrible app! For one it is painfully slow, but my biggest beef with it is the inability to filter. Sure there is a filter button filled with all the fields you need to weed out the stuff you don't want to scroll through, but if you take the time to enter all the fields you're looking for there is no way to enter the fields after so you just go back to where you were. There are so many other issues but just like they couldn't be bothered making a working app, I can't be bothered typing it all!

The app is slow, freezes, crashes, and logs me out all the time. It worked better before the update, but now I have to spend 2 to 3 minutes logging in multiple times at checkout to be able to pull up my membership barcode. When I try to shop at home, it is basically useless and frustratingly slow to use. It took me about 20 tries to change my warehouse, and most product pages refuse to load at all.

The app is great with lots of information about my account, the current sales, and additional information. I like that it has tabs on the bottom, but I wish it was easier to find things. When reviewing warehouse sales, I can add what I need to a list yet the list is difficult to find without clicking through a few tabs or knowing the app fully already. overall, I hope to get the hang of it and I do find it very useful.

Since the last update this app has sometimes been unusable. I use it to show my membership card when entering but the last few times I've been to Costco it wouldn't even come up. Isn't that something that should be stored locally? Sometimes when just opening the app all I get is a white screen. The buttons at the bottom function but where's the homepage? The last instance of this app was way better.

I love my Costco membership and I do get use out of the various features of this app, but the implementation of those features is always troublesome. I use the pharmacy portal a lot, but it constantly signs me out and is only a web view inside the app. The Same-day delivery/instacart integration is somewhat frustrating to do since it just opens Instacart on the browser. Scrolling is often jittery as well, which makes doing things like filling out credit card information very frustrating.

Just updated hoping it would be better. Swing and a miss! Now I only have the spinning blue circle and it doesn't work at all. Costco, I have several friends that are in programming and IT that could build you an app that will actually work, then you could fire whoever you've had trying for years. Feel free to reach out.

The Costco app is a disappointment on many levels. I expected more from a company as big as Costco. I can't plan a grocery shopping trip, like I do with just about any other store that sells groceries: BJ's, Stop & Shop, Target, Walmart. I can't see my local store inventory to see if items I need are in stock or check the price. I can't do curbside pickup. I really expect more from my (Executive) membership. A total revamp of the app & website is long overdue.

This app never seems to work properly and is always needing updates. It rarely loads up entirely and gives error messages all the time. Its extremely aggravating. I just want to order some food and it won't let me!! Basically useless since it works about 1% of time, no exaggeration. It can't possibly be just my internet connection since other apps work fine.

This app is so frustrating. Clicking and adding things to your cart id so easy, then when you try to checkout the app turna into garbage. You can't add different cards without it erroring out every time, you can change your default payment method. Once an account is linked to an email address you can't change it without it erroring out. If the app would stop erroring on actually trying to use it, it would be great. Hope Costco fixes this. It's been this way for months.

App has been corrupted following its update. Once I finally have the items in the cart, the same either won't open, or it continues to reload and fade in and out once it finally does. The furthest I've gotten, out of at least 20 minutes trying, is the shipping choice, which fails to load every time. I've tried uninstalling the app, as well as restarting my phone and checking it's connection.

I can't believe big as a store chain, this is that they can't get their app right. For as long as I can remember now, it keeps picking random locations as my hone store, and when you try to change it, the font overlays another selection, so you can't change it to the store you want.

I've never seen a large company that has such a good reputation overall, but can't figure out e-commerce. This app is not the worst but you can smell the rot. Frequently, my account is completely unconnected so everything is "access denied". That's a not architecture by the way. Then you unnecessarily raise the brightness to full on the account screen. Product photos are slow to load and hard to zoom. I'm just flabbergasted that after many years, you are still in this state.

App doesn't work consistently. One minute my account and member ID is verified, another it's not. Past orders and receipts don't show up like they should, and product search doesn't always work correctly. Using the app is a battery drain/eye strainer, as it cranks the screen brightness all the way up automatically. Probably to scan QR codes? But it makes it miserable to use in anything other than very bright rooms. Definitely disappointing paying membership fees for the app to be garbage.
