Provides great info, but I do have some suggestions that would make the app a lot more useful, which mostly surrounds notifications: -have custom notifications, where you can choose the parameters for when you'll get notified of possibly seeing an aurora. The app tells what the cloud coverage is; it doesn't matter how high the KP is, if it's cloudy it's not worth me getting out of bed to check out. -also have your minimum KP option so I'm not receiving notifications for 15% chance. -dark mode

Decent enough app. Since the last update however Norton reports it now has access to the Sim card and voicemail number that can be used for "data mining purposes". I'm not sure if this is a false positive on Norton's part or, if true, why the app requires these new permissions.

I have successfully seen the aurora twice thanks to this app. I wish I could set the notification settings to wake me up at night but I think that's a phone setting issue and nothing to do with this app. Thanks for creating this amazing app!

The app doesn't actually send out notifications! I have seen the northern lights a few times since getting the app, and the app didn't send out a notification. I have the app set to send out alerts when I am supposed to be able to see auroras. The app is useless. Don't waste your time getting it.

very misleading for new aurora watchers. Doing away with the "chances" would make the app much better. When there is 100% chance of aurora and is currently being seen, the app might say 2% or 10%, basically whatever it wants to say. Also, remove the cloud cover. Even with some clouds, aurora can be seen.

This thing is completely and constantly innacurate to the point where I'm sure everything it says is completely random. During 99% likelihood of lights obviously there was none, it constantly says there's clouds overhead, total overcast, even when there isn't a single cloud in the sky and we can clearly see stars all around. TL/DR: it's just extremely innacurate.

Worked really well for me on a trip to Northern Finland. I have used other aurora apps previously and I liked this one because it also took into account cloud cover. Thank you for developing this app - the adverts were not a problem, it was easy to use and we were lucky enough to see Northern Lights twice based on predictions from this app.

Very useful app! It was extremely helpful while chasing the North lights. Pretty accurate and I loved the alerts when the chances to see them in my area are high. Thanks to it I managed to plan and see them 😍 It would be good to have short intro to what the indexes mean and how to read them, though (e.g. what KP means and what do the numbers stand for)

best app out there! thanks to the app we have caught the Aurora in north wales twice!! it's such a simple view which makes things clearer and easier to understand, I'm always recommending it to friends and family! the cloud coverage makes life ten times easier as I used to check multiple weather forecasts etc but as its all in one place I can quickly see if it's worth a drive to somewhere dark! we are going to Iceland soon and have the app downloaded and ready to go!!

This app said there was 0% chance of an Aurora last night. My local weather forecast said there was an unusually good chance. I went out looking, and was able to see them. They were faint, but there. Busted my faith in this thing. Granted, the Aurora visible was not in the least bit vibrant, but to have no indication from this app was less than stellar.

I really liked this app before 3 months. However now it is unusable. Ads are non stop and everywhere on the screen. You have to be careful as to not touch them by mistake. The app freezes frequenrly and shuts down. The interface is terribly slow.

Two troubles: * It isn't clear in diagrams if the aurora will happen the night to a date or the night from a date * I usually use black-n-white night mode in the evening. The orange and green in the map is completely impossible to distinguish when the nightmode is on. Sure I can turn it of, but the 12% of men who have colourbliness can't, so it might be worth fixin' for them :)

I used this app a lot in Finland, everything was great. After last updating it stopped working correctly: doesn't show viewing probability, cloud coverage and Aurora map doesn't show my current location. Maybe because I moved from Finland back to Russia (but before the updation it worked). I hope you will fix it, because the app is really cool! P.s. I hope you don't have any restrictions for russian regions, like in other apps

Good app which shows Aurora probability pretty well and allowed me to see some nice ones in Sweden. However, I find it misses a key component in the analysis: sunlight. It would be nice to take this into consideration for the analysis. Including the moon would also be nice, but I believe that for now sunlight would be a pretty nice major addition.

I had the most incredible experience 4/23/23!! I saw the Northern Lights southeast of the twin cities. The app was really helpful in helping us get to where we could see it. The clouds were coming in, but we got to watch for about 20-30 minutes, and the clouds cover came in.

So I downloaded the app because I was headed to northern Maine and heard the lights might be visible. And they were! However I didn't get notified because little did I know the app has a "don't send notifications during the summer" checkbox that is checked by default. So I missed the event entirely. Would be better for a user to get one useless notification and have to check that box than to get no notification that would have been useful and miss a fairly rare event in the northern US
