Disagree With the First Two Waivers The first two waivers have to do with ads and localized ads. But there are ads already inside the app, one framed into a permanent view and the others within the pages of the content itself. You can still easily type in a search for your town or city. The waivers don't benefit the app so much that you can't go without allowing your location to be read at all times automatically.

Was #1 in my opinion... Since update, widgets are cheap, inaccurate, and unpredictable. Constantly loses location and puts me in places that I am not, even at home. The problem is that these app developers think that they constantly have to change things. They lose track of the main purpose. Update: Keeps saying "unable to determine your location" says change settings to "allow all the time" even though it has ALWAYS been set to allow all the time. This has happened 20 times in 2 months???????

Website is great. App is trash. The app is constantly crashing, filled with pop up ads, and frequently glitching and freezing my phone screen. The interface of their website is SO much easier to interact with, more user friendly. Where the website is simple, the app is just annoying and tedious, poorly organized (with slow load times.) Either Google accuweather, or get a different weather app.

As I love the design and its fairly accurate - I mean its weather. BUT there are chronic location finding errors. I've tried ALL the usual troubleshooting steps but it's still can't locate. This has been happening for MONTHS now on both the app and the widget. I've had to uninstall it permanently. ARGGGAH ! I tried to get help from the app and that was a huge waste of time. Even after repeating several time "its NOT a wrong location it's a "can't determine location."

Used to be good but steadily getting worse. Forecasts are less and less accurate, and worse, it's almost all ads now. Every time you click something in the app, there's an ad to navigate. Also recently started to push a useless feature (120 minute forecast for precip, with no other information) as the "landing" page, instead of the home page with much more detailed information about the day's weather, including things like air quality and short-term precip forecast.

Deleting this. I purposefully got myself a less powerful phone to minimize distractions, but even on the decent phone I had before, this app was getting very slow and frequently crashed. Just seems unnecessarily clunky for a seemingly simple app. As others have said, predictions seem to be especially inaccurate. Of course weather -- especially exactly where and when it's going to rain -- isn't something we've mastered, but this app seems like it's wrong A LOT. Will try something else.

2 stars because it doesnt crash. But it might as well, because it can't find an Internet connection for days, even though all the other apps connect. Switches locales when you don't want, Doesn't auto switch when you want it to, never accurate unless it's already raining on me.

Too many ads. No joke I go to check what the temperature is and my phone froze up so bad I had to forcibly restart my phone. Also there's no reason you can't just have a tiny ad at the bottom where it won't destroy my phone's ability to function. Also pop up ads are annoying AF and I'm genuinely about to uninstall and find another app.

I'm not sure why but it will not auto update on either 30 minute frequency, or an hour frequency. After a few days, it will quit updating when you hit the refresh button. Something needs to be done. Used to love this app but now its barely tolerable. As of 9/7/2023 it quits showing the weather as a banner. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and cleared cache and data and nothing works

Bought a new phone, latest Samsung model. I thought maybe that would make a difference. Nope. I still frequently have to uninstall & reinstall to make the widgets work. Forecast is very accurate for my location, but the widgets are broken. They work for between a day and at most a week. This is the premium version?! When will this be fixed? So regret ever paying for this.

Love the app but unfortunately it says, "No Internet Connection", about half of the time. It always has an internet connection. I have to use another app to find the basic information,--such as current temperature. I wouldn't consider an upgraded version as others are reporting they are seeing the same issue.

The ongoing notification bar temperature doesn't work. I've disabled and reenacted the apps notifications as well as turned the function on and off within the app. I've had this issue for years. I called customer service expecting my issue to be addressed, but the woman seemed completely unconcerned and seemed to find pleasure in me telling her that I would need to find another app if this one isn't fixed. She actually laughed at me. I'll never use this app again even if the issue is fixed.

Update: Uninstalled...its just too buggy. 1 star. Dev team...wake up! See all the recent bad reviews. Loved the app...used to be the best. One of the recent updates caused massive regression. My wife gave up and uninstalled it. I'm hanging on hoping for a fix soon. Can't find my location all the time...plus it freezes 50% of the time by just clicking a hourly detail. Ads fail to load so the app crashes. Recently a very frustrating experience.

The map is decent but many times there's a huge discrepancy in accuracy when compared to other apps. The downside is having to pay to look at humidity when I can view that in other apps free and them being more on par with actual temps reported in the area. There should be a lifetime use and not per year. No thanks so I'm moving on to a different app with better features

I pay for premium, yet the ads still pop up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled under the same username at least three or four times over the last 6 months. They cannot get it right. While the information on the app is pretty good, expect to have ads pop up regardless of paying for premium. And yes I have contacted customer service many times. They just tell me to uninstall and reinstall and wait a few days. Nothing ever changes.

This app used be the best option out there for reliability and accuracy but they really haven't kept up with the competition. I paid for the "premium" version awhile back, and now they've introduced a "premium+" under a subscription model, so now my "premium" version doesn't even include all the latest features. I am disappointed they shat on early supporters but also don't even allow you to use new things without paying an additional monthly fee.

It's never accurate. The temperatures it predicts are always off from what it ends up being. How is it that they literally just get their info from the NWS (like EVERY OTHER WEATHER SERVICE) and yet they're still always wrong? The whole point of a weather app is to let you know what the weather is going to be. If it's repeatedly untrustworthy, it's useless. Add to that the frequent connection issues (which have been going on for YEARS), and it's just a garbage experience. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Persistent notification is not working, and is the main feature I use tens of times a day. I rely on as up to date weather as possible, which is something AccuWeather is capable of promoting via local channels, but this last update has ruined the cohesiveness of the app. I've already force stopped, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app, the issue is the software. Please fix it, I've been using AW since 2010, and have paid for it twice, I'm obviously devoted.
