I love this app and have used it for a few years to edit my videos for YouTube. However over the last month I have been unable to edit videos. It crashes after 1 edit. I have to restart app make another edit and it crashes again. I hope this gets fixed soon because I really do love editing with it.

This is a really good app for editing, especially on mobile. Not a very good desktop version, but it's still a really good editing app for mobile. I use this to edit all my videos, and while there is a few quirks here and there (like the preview completely disappearing or when it stops saving) its still really good for its other features, like Keyframes, video overlays, and the basics you'd probably find on something expensive like Premier Pro or Vegas. overall, 9.8/10

Simple to use, more efficient that other similar apps. I haven't had a problem with my videos converting, so that's a plus, and FINALLY!! an app that lets you save to your SD card. That's a plus plus!! Unfortunately, I can't convert into 4K and 60fps, probably need pro, but I'm not complaining too much. I'd recommend this app to others though, no question.

I've used the desktop version of PowerDirector for years with great success so I was excited to use it on my new phone. For some reason it will not let me import any new media. I just get an error message that the file type is not supported. I downloaded a file converter to see if I could convert the files and get it to work but after converting to file types that were supposedly supported it still didn't work. As much as I love the desktop version I'm sorry to say that this version is junk.

2nd year and still loving it. I haven't had any glitches/bugs. I appreciate the regular graphic updates related to social media. There's a lot to explore. The music selection is broad. The formatting time is appropriate. I look forward to the format continuing to progress without the app being opened.

Okay. I didn't like that the app was so so slow. Maybe my internet connection, but this was an app I downloaded to edit a video already on my phone, already transferred to my computer. No need to go over the web. I didn't like that the tutorial didn't explain anything, it's just too loud music not balanced overtop a too quick video that doesn't -say- click this button, this is how you trim, this is how you blah blah. Many more beyond 500 characters. I didn't like it. It was badbad.

Awesome App and Excellent Customer Service. Super easy to use and has helped me to build a youtube channel as well as post my videos on other social media sites. I recently had problems with my subscription and was unable to use the premium features. Customer support worked with me through several e-mails and got my subscription restored. They were very patient and sent me tons of information on how to restore my account. Thank you again.

Nothing special, I downloaded the app, and watched a few videos to use the pro version. There was hardly any enhancements to a video I was trying to clear the distortion. When using the built in samsung video editor I saw better reduced blurring. I am glad that there was an opportunity to watch videos to try it before you buy it. I do believe that there was a bit if distortion reduced from the video, but again, it was nothing special.

Half the time most of the features work and half time none of the feature work. I'm never able to save my project to Google drive. 98% of the text animation templates don't transition properly, I had to literally find the one text template that works by trial and error. Whenever I am editing a video on average the app crashes 3 times, but it saves my work so it's not that concerning. 15-20% of the time I am unable to export a videos due low ram. 20% of the time I can't export for unknown reason

App stopped working for me. I can't add any effects; when I try to do so, I get either a blank blue screen or an infinite loading ring. EDIT: Issue's fixed so here's a real review. I use both PowerDirector and CapCut because each have different effects I use for my videos. CapCut has a slight advantage over this due to a better interface and no watermark, but this one has better special effects and gives you premium free for a few days just for doing small things like making a number of videos.

I had to edit my previous 4-star review. I don't know what's happened to this app but it's become incredibly frustrating to use. Due to constant crashing, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now it's even worse. Simple functions like fit and fill never work. I pay for the premium Android version and expect it to actually work! I just finished a video and now I can't even edit or download it because I keep getting a "not enough memory" error, even after clearing cache on almost all apps.

Used to be great. Loved using this app but lately the editing process is getting to be frustrating for me. The timeliness continues to glitch on its own and when I edit the clips it will revert back, do the opposite of what I'm trying to do (extended or shorten) or flat out delete tje clips without me doing so. I don't know if this is a bug or what but it needs to be fixed or I'll be ending the subscription.

I bought the premium version a few years back and I haven't used this for awhile, but some point they switched it to a monthly billing style rather than a one time up front payment style. Well they took the premium from me and I've gotta pay the monthly if I wanna get it back. It makes sense for new customers but seriously? I already had the premium and it got taken away. Massive L

This is very unacceptable. Then ever I tri to import a video, it will "covert the video for better performance" but right when it reaches 99%, I get a message that says "Powerdirector could not covert the video clip. Try another video clip, or relaunch the app and try again." Witch of course, I tried both those things and they didn't work. Please fix this. I'm very upset.

Basic editing tools, but music was lacking before, but now with Meta it's terrible. Songs without lyrics have been radically reduced. Can't search or sort by BPM or duration, nor can one skip to different sections of each song (scrubbing). This radically slows production. Occasional post production glitches. Wish I hadn't paid for the "premium service". Looking for new app.

Since last update its very unstable when editing. The menu stop working as soon as the video plays, operation freezes it takes forever to catch up. Forced to back out and restart. Whatever you did please change it back!! Editing to add the new music selection is unusable compared to the old that got removed. For the paid version it should be better music and not added glitches while editing. Revert back to the old!!

The UI is pretty straightforward and easy to use and get into doing some really good edits. Only issue that I would say I have is the ad that you cannot get rid of every time you initially open the app. Regardless of if you have the paid version or not. Truthfully I would give it a bit over four stars but that's not an option so four stars it is.

Great editing software. Easy to learn. Easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars, but it has been glitching a lot over the last several months everytime I try to edit a video causing me to have to back out of the project I'm working on. Sometimes several times causing a simple 2 minute edit to take 10 minutes. Other than that I have no complaints.
