Why another auto-booking app?


Auto-hailing apps have made our lives easy, but the high commissions have dug a hole in auto drivers' and customers pockets.
Drivers' earnings are badly affected due to high commissions, and drivers can't operate sustainably. This has resulted in the unavailability of autos during peak time and poor rider experience. And somewhere, we all believed there was no solution to this problem.

Looks like the auto driver are misusing the fare based on meter pricing approach. In my case the auto driver dropped me in some other location telling the app is showing that drop location later I had to use Google map to guide the auto driver to my actual drop location. By doing this my initial fare inflated when I reached the final actual drop location.

Worst app ever! Don't download. The app does not have customer care or anything in case of help or emergency. The fare displayed is different than the fare at the end of the ride. A simple wrote turn or longer distance by the driver and you will be charged extra. I just had a abusive fight with a driver now who threatened me & he dropped me half way. I could not reach out to anyone on the app for help. There are a log of bugs and no one is fixing them. I even mailed to customer support & no use

While this app is great for booking. It does not proceed from the opening screen. Everytime I have to clear data and then login back for it to work. This happens on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

why are there prices higher than alternative apps if the whole cost goes to the driver? and sometimes drives take longer routes which affects the prices. i used to prefer this and actually share this with my friends to support auto drivers. but lately I've changed my mind.

It was very tough to get a captain at the peak times. Even though it shows many captains in the app, none of them will take us to ride. Fare is something very economical and reasonable at any time. Rides are much safer and vehicles are clean too.

This is the worst rickshaw booking app. Started with good intentions, but has absolutely zero customer service or accountability. In spite of being drivers' preferred app, they often refuse the rides. They still prefer charging as they please to desperate customers. There's no option of customer greivance redressal. Nothing

Total money looting app... price shows different while booking after reaching price got increased unexpectedly, also drivers taking longer route intentionally to increase the fare amount. for only 1km route change we have to pay 50-60 rupees...what kind of calculation are you guys using.

Namma Yatri says all 100% fare going to drivers however prompts customers to add a tip for faster bookings. Hilarious! It is like give bribe and get the booking. Worst service, their drivers never pickup a ride during the peak hours and when we most needed them. I waited for 40 minutes on the app booking in the midst of rainy night not a single auto rick was booked. All glitz no substance in the name of startups and customer easement.

The app seems to be designed to benefit Auto Drivers rather than the passengers who pay to use the service. I like the fact that they get all the earnings but it seems like there is not accountability or any regulations set. The prices change from the time of pick up to the time of drop. If you want commom people to use your app you need to regulate your drivers with strict policies, set fixed prices, Driver ratings on the app should matter for something.

This app is really bad with no mechanism to complain against drivers who accept and dissappear. There is nothing tying them back. Notorious auto drivers get wings thanks to this app. It's also more expensive at times then other apps. I would encourage other apps as they atleast have a way to track and complain.

Worst experience and even worse customer support, the auto guy shows up 10mins late,drunk and misbehaves. ofcourse you can't do anything about it because customer support will make u wait half an hour,and there's no way to contact the driver and ask him where he is, moreover the auto guy assigned to me didn't know how to use maps to navigate to my location, extremely dissatisfied with this experience and don't think I'll be using namma yatri again

I don't want to rate single star for this app they have hell lot of location issues high prices for a small ride nd even though high fare with the tip the driver demand for extra amount once ride completed I have used so many app uber, ola, rapido but never faced this worst experience.... Not recommended....

Worst ever app. The drivers accept the ride just to cancel. Funny thing is most of them don't even cancel, they just keep moving in wrong direction. For this kind of a service they even beg for tips, absolute nonsense. Very cheap customer service, they don't take any action on drivers for cancelling the ride. And their drama continues always. Better to spend little more money on other booking apps atleast they are worthy of what they are being paid. If there is minus rating lower than 0 I'd vote

Able to use the app only once after that it logged out and not able to sign in. Post entering the mobile number to login OTP is not getting generated at all. Rest all apps working fine and able to receive OTP. If there is a fix for it it would be helpful.

If there is an option of 0 stars then better use my review for that. It's a pathetic app. None of the drivers accept the booking. I have been trying like crazy for many days ultimately go for Rapido or Ola. They are far better. You will think the rides are cheaper compared to Ola but Not at all. Driver will never accept the bookings. Rather they have added the feature of 10, 20, 30 rs tip if u use your ride fare will be more than Ola that too no guarantee of bookings. Better look for other apps

Not a very great experience with Namma Yatri. It might be convenient for long distance,but for something like 2-4km travel, there's a huge waiting time. Infact, without paying "the tip" no Auto driver would accept the ride. If this is the case, then I see it no different from other cab/auto aggregators. It is just another app to the list of already existing apps on your phone.

strongly recommend you to not to use this app, as they are showing less amount to book the Auto and they charge more which can't expect. When I book the auto it was showing 139-149 Rs. with 8.31 km, but driver taken long route and charged 220 Rs. and telling app is showing long route. When I called to customer care, they also telling the same due to traffic Yatri app itself recommend to driver take long route without user permission. Ola and Uber customer care service is good to use.

First of all I was not getting any autos today, plus on top of that, the driver that accepted the ride was showing heavy unprofessional behaviour, he basically asked me to get out of the auto and take my things because he couldn't even wait for 1 minute, he was a hothead and was saying that he would have charged 200 if not for this app. He couldn't even wait for me to take my things out of his auto. This is highly unprofessional. I expect the maintainers of this app to look into the issue.
