The single most counter intuitive maps app I've ever seen, you'd be better off using a paper map. Nothing is named, it doesn't show which direction you're facing, it doesn't show you moving, it doesn't tell you which bus to catch. The only positive thing is it tells you when buses are supposed to arrive

Generally a Google map user, but since Google map doesn't work well in Korea, I've downloaded both Naver maps and Kakao maps to aid my trip in Seoul, Incheon and Suwon. I found that Kakao map is the best and most accurate in general. However when following calculated routes it can get a bit confusing at times, e.g. arrow pointing in the wrong direction

It's a real mess with a very partial english translation. It's slow, doesn't give much information and there is a lot of place that it doesn't find. Even so, it's stil' better than Line map (Which wasn't hard ...)

No navigation cues, all key information is in Korean. It doesn't even understand an address if it's in English. Mostly had no help from the app when I used this for biking and had to rely on locals pointing me in the right direction. Would also help if the app actually tells me my present location and gives me verbal cues instead of me having to check the screen for directions

Too much bad and no good anymore no English speaker

I have a note 9 and although this app was working fine all of a sudden it doesnt show the map properly. It will either be grayed out or be very zoomed out(even if you zoom in it doesnt give detailed map markers or show roads etc). It still locates me and gives me the directions to go places if i type it in but the map doesnt show. Please fix.

Used this on my trip to korea. It was the first time I used the subways and busses there, but it was very convenient with this app. It even alerts you when it is time to get off and starts to remind from one station before your destination arrives. Thanks to this app i got to conveniently use the busses there without any problem

Was useful while it worked for about a week, then with no updates just suddenly would never connect for directions saying "check network connection" (there's nothing wrong with the network connection) and became completely useless. I did have to use it with Google maps though, since none of the bus stops or train stops it gives are in English. Now I just have to rely on Google maps over my obviously working network connection 😝

When I used the app's road view, it turns out the pin doesn't stay still at the moment of swiping the map below the street image, making it difficult to use if you want to explore the map without moving from the current pin location. For me is rather disappointing

It would have been very hard visiting Seoul without this app. Nice job! One suggestion though (from a tourist point of view) : sometimes is not easy to find locations by name because some places only have their Korean name. It would be great if that could be improved so a location can be found by searching for it using multiple names.

I absolutely love the app. I find it more intuitive than Google maps and being able to see the buses move on the map in real time is amazing. I wish Kakao maps covered other countries! Some parts of the app (for example the notices) are still entirely in Korean, which is the only reason I didn't give it 5/5.

The app has become not user friendly. When I downloaded in March 2023, the transport route showed the stations that the train will pass by in English but now is in Korean. Can anybody tell me what happened?

Great app, very detailed mapping. Restaurants and Cafes are all well captured in the system. However, they could have changed tab labels at the top of the map e.g. "Restaurants", "People's Favorite", "Cafe" etc into English as well if the user has selected English in the settings. Or else, for an English user like myself, I have to depend on guess work to know what each tabs means, or spend the extra time using Google translate to translate it. Other than that, it's a very intuitive app,👍🏻

I love this app. It's UI is cleaner and more intuitive than the competition. It connects well to other apps. I also applaud the English language support which is great for tourists and expats. **But please include a faster toggle between English and Korean. Maybe in the maps settings filters. It's too deep in the settings, when asking for help from a Korean or showing the address to a taxi driver. Showing the address in both English and Korean would be helpful.**

I set in english that i understand well the language but everytime i used the navigation always korean voice language..i need english please,.i try to find where i can set the voice language i did not find it.please help me thank you
