The app is great, until you use the digital key. The digital key is super convenient until you go down for breakfast and return to your room to find out you've automatically been checked out and the key no longer works. If you didn't factor in time for an extra trip all the way back to the front desk, waiting in line to discuss the issue, the time to explain the situation, and the walk back to your room, you may end up late for your meeting! Convenience at a cost for sure!

I appreciate the accessibility of the app. I wish the virtual key option was an automatic default for any property that features it. I don't see the need to opt in each time. I also DO NOT prefer a mobility room. This is not the right forum to air this grievance, yet I've exhausted each other avenue. I DO NOT like them and they are actually more inconvenient for a tall person. I also feel guilty for taking a room designed for someone else that may not be accommodated since I'm in there.

Great idea, but didn't work for me. On the app, I was able to pick my room and check in, but still had to go to front desk and do a complete physical check in ( ID, credit card, license #, signature, room keys). Kind of defeats the purpose of self check in. Did get the digital key, on the app, after physical check in. Parked near a side entrance, because it was close to the elevator, only to find out, you can't use the digital key to unlock side entrances to the hotel. That sucked.

This app makes traveling a hundred times easier. No fumbling through emails to remember the name of the hotel then opening up google maps and finding it. No late night messing with front desk check-ins when you just want to finally get some rest. Your phone is your key! No wandering around hoping you went to the right floor for the gym as there is generally a map for the hotel you're at in the app as well. They are all small conveniences, but when it all adds up - it's really handy to have!

Well put together and pretty easy to use. Points and rewards stuff could be easier, as well as the digital key being more frustrating to use than getting an actual key. It would be awesome if the digital key were given automatically as an option rather than having to request it and wait until the next hour. Hit Platinum or whatever it's called in 4 months. Great job development team.

I love this app. The convenience of looking for hotels in certain areas, being able to view their details and photos without navigating away is wonderful. Where this app really shines is check in! Being able to choose a contactless check in (especially during these times) is fantastic. Where they go above and beyond is being able to choose your room though. Love everything about it! I always check in early and knowing exactly when my room is ready is fantastic.

Really like this app. intuitive, straightforward layout with plenty of useful features. love the dashboard for each stay, so you can manage them easily. all the rates are right there when you're booking, so it's easy to pick the rate with the benefits you want! also really nice to be able to adjust your "My Way" benefits directly in the app. Digital key is also really cool.

App is easy to navigate, smooth to make and manage reservations, check in and even pick your room. With this and the digital room key feature you can completely bypass the front desk and go straight to your room if it's been a long travel day. The key was not quite as dependable when first launched, particularly at common area doors, but it has worked quite well for me the past couple of years. You can also manage account settings, etc. Just an overall useful and user-friendly travel app.

Does all that I need it to do, but i wish it had better search functionality. By that, I mean that it will sometimes return no hotels if there are none in the immediate search vicinity. I'd prefer that it, at least, tell me the closest option...even if that option is 300 nautical miles away. Also, I've occasionally found better rates in the app than the one initially listed, by scrolling down through the various booking options. Seems like a minor bug in how the app calculates the best rate.

Being generous with two stars. Had similar issues as others related to the digital key not showing up and now I can't even find it on the app. Also can't find the "check out" button. I do like the concept of the app, but it is slow and not organized well. When I am staying at a Hilton property, a big, fat button should pop up when I open the app that is all about my current stay. Like "contact front desk" or "check out amenities". Finding these take about 3-4 clicks and isn't very intuitive.

The concept of the digital key is great, however, actual use of it is hit or miss. It relies on Bluetooth rather than NFC. Half the time it doesn't detect the nearby lock (room, pool, fitness). I ended up checking in with the app on my iPad and requested the digital key there. It didn't allow me to switch it to my Android phone. I had to share it with myself. Not a big deal since I'm not going to use all 4 share instances, but a pain. It should just show up for my user on any device.

Easy and intuitive to use. Very robust and responsive. Very good content - all info at my fingertips. Love the room selection capability with option to upgrade from all available rooms. Digital key is very convenient, but it needs to stay on a bit longer when in use. Took 2-3 attempts to open the room on couple of times. Overall, excellent app. Saves a lot of times checking in and out - especially for late night arrivals.

Very easy to navigate and find multiple rates in different locations. This app is much more user friendly than other travel apps. App is wonderful when it decides it wants to work. Digital key is either best feature or absolute worst. Some hotels, it works with 0 issues. Others, I stand right next to the door and it won't recognize that I'm in range to unlock it.

Better, But Room For Improvement. This app is good, but lacks a smooth intuitive feel. The focus is on background graphics, not the info and buttons custoners need to conduct busibess. For example, it would be easy to highlight the search button with pulsating colors or something. Its not even highlighted properly for first time users. Hilton is a big company, I don't expect they are agile enough to make process improvements to the app in a timely manner. Time will tell.

Very user friendly. I've booked (and unfortunately canceled) a lot of trips via the app. It's very convenient when traveling as well - the digital key for keyless entry is an awesome feature. I use the app to check in, check out, view/take advantage of amenities the hotel offers, explore what to do in the local area, and can easily communicate with the hotel if I need anything.

It works well. It has a few quirks, though, just like most apps. The quirkiest one is when using the online check-in feature, and then trying to select a room. Tapping and zooming, unzooming and tapping some more, it seems impossible to select the room I want! Then, out of the blue, the room I want is selected! It's a downright annoying process.

The app, which is intended to simplify the process of managing reservations and enhancing the hotel experience, proved to be quite difficult to use and fell short of my expectations.Navigating through the various features and menus felt clunky and counterintuitive. The layout was confusing, and important functions were buried deep within layers of menus, making it frustrating to find the information I needed. The person helping me book had different prices than the ones on the app.

It is so easy to get hotels booked with this app. I like the ability to see all the properties on the map tab, determine which hotel is located where I want to be relative to downtown & other attractions, or maybe just how close to my route it is. The GUI is well designed, a booking takes very little time. BRAVO!
