Traveling with FlixBus is so easy, there's not much to explain. Just download the free app and try it. For bookworms that need more details, here are some tips to get you started 😉

Choose your desired connection, enter your passenger information, choose your preferred payment method, and pay for your ticket. The advantages of booking through the app:

INFORMATION ON YOUR TRIP
You can access your trip information and ticket anytime via your phone and can follow your bus’s location. Let the app guide you to your bus stop. Important information, such as delays or changes concerning the bus stop, will be shared with you via push notification or a text message, so you won't miss any information. Very important: don't forget to allow push notifications!

BAGGAGE
Every ticket includes 1 free carry-on bag on board and 1 free suitcase or travel bag. Unlike flights or others means of transportation, you can easily and affordably bring more baggage with you on the bus. Bicycle spaces are also available – just choose the option you need during the booking process. Our bus drivers are happy to help you stow them away. COMFORT ON BOARD
With FlixBus, you are guaranteed a seat with a comfortable and adjustable backrest, extra legroom, private power outlets, and we have toilets on board. Terrible experience in Croatia. The app itself is ok (even though I'd prefer to login...). I've booked 10 tickets for a bus and waited for it ad the flixbus platform. We lost the ride because the bus wasn't a flixbus one (all.other buses of other companies that could be bought via flixbus exposed a Big flixbus ticket). The driver told us it wasn't our bus and the client service was non existent. I'm sorry because before this experience I've always enjoyed my flixbus rides. Not gonna try anymore

Easy to book,however, when I want to request a refund, the process is just confusing. For 30 minutes I have been trying to do that without success, going in circles within the app. No easy button to just do a few clicks and ve done. I am tired as I have already contacted the expert, asked my question, then wanted to go back to finding the next connection and when going back to the conversation with the expert, the conversation was cleared up, the app requesting to fill in all the details again

The app come in handy but still a few glitches when trying to contact staff for reporting issues. If you use their service, never ever book a ticket with a transfer. It's very unlikely that you will get to your destination on time so you will miss your connection. This happened to me and they arranged an alternative bus that showed up 3 hours later from a pick up location that was on the other side of the city. Horrible experience and I ended up arriving 6 hours later than planned.

Very unreliable, even after booking don't be so sure you will make the trip. Almost made me miss an appointment, I had to spent triple of the money aid door my trip just so I can make it, Canceled my trip 2 hours before departure,after booking about a week plus for that trip.

Poor App Design Caused Booking Error - My booking for 4 tickets was prefilled with only 2 of the passengers info, and the clunky app caused this to go missed. Rude Driver - Driver insisted I only purchased 2 tickets. They did not listen, but instead snapped "what are you gonna do“, as he literally dodged my attempts to show him the 4 seats we had reserved in the app. Worst Customer Service - 3 chats and 4 emails later, and no help. Edit: They still never reached out to resolve. They don't care.

What a waste of time! The 10€ saved (compared to the other bus companies) was entirely not worth it because Flixbus was delayed by 2 hours! That made me miss my connected Flixbus ride that was paid for in the same purchase as the first connected ride. Instead of automatically asigning a new connected ride, it made my sieve through their website in order to find some form to fill in - which didn't even work on Android or a chat help which didn't work on Android either. I feel very disappointed 😞

There's always issues with payments failing, but the money gets taken out of your account. And you don't get tickets. Understandable if it was an isolated incident but it's happed on 3 separate trips over the span of months.

If you are outside Europe do not use it. My experience in brazil was awful. 1. My buses were 30 min and 1 hour delayed and we were kept standing near the platform. 2. Importantly they charged money for seat selection and in the end I got a message saying "your seat has been changed". I expected an refund of the fee but it was not there. No point in selecting the seats. 3. They have no official counters in the busstops. Both in Sao Paulo and Rio. It's your duty to to find out. How ? No idea.

It's fine to keep tickets but trying to book through the app doesn't work. When searching for routes that come up on a laptop, the app says there's none available. And when I try to search in browser on my phone it just opens the app with no results.

Had a 2 leg trip from Bari to Venezia, the first bus arrived 30 min late, because of that it arrived 20 after the 2nd leg had left (that one left earlier than schedule). There is no 24h customer support and we were told we had to just buy another ticket and request a refund. Have been trying for the past hour but the app is not useful for this. Im already on the extra bus i had to buy (it was late aswell) and will try in person. Overall really bad experience with the app and the company.

Why do my trips cancel? I purchased a round trip with 2 tickets 4 days prior to the trip to SF. The trip (without explanation the day before) to SF canceled. They gave no explanation but I was able to order a pricier transportation to SF by train. When there, the trip back got canceled. I was left stranded there yesterday. Thankfully the pricier one saved me again and got me back today. I ordered these tickets way ahead with the capacity in both less than 50%. Why did they cancel? Unreliable!!!

Worst company ever. First of all , they're always late, it's way too hot or way to cold. They crash the cars very often, the drivers are rude. If you have to exchange two buses the second one will not even be a bus,just a bigger car. Just take other companies or the plane if you want to travel in Europe or outside of it. Also they don't do refunds how it's supposed to be.

I can't believe this thing happened to me. I booked the return ticket from London to Leicester. In total, it cost me about £14. But unfortunately i have to postponed that plan so i manage my reservation after a week which makes my ticket value about £18. Again due to the work schedule, i cancelled my trip which was my big mistake. They dissolved my £18 and in return, handed me the useless voucher of £3.5. No any details about money. Worst customer service. I will pay more and travel in NE. 😡😡

Flixbus service is really bad, there are always delay. When you try to change the departure time, even though the price is same for new schedule, they still charge stating price difference, however if check through new booking, price is same as previous booking. They literally faking the price.

The system error bought me two tickets for same round trip. I wanted to cancel the 2nd trip but the only option is to get a voucher to be used in 12 months, and I am a very rare traveler. I need my money back for the 2nd ticket bought for the same trip due to system error. I visited Braga bus station to see flix bus office staff to resolve it in person, but the office was locked and full of dust, meaning it is inactive since long time. I will appreciate if you can refund me my money back. Ty

The app works fine but cannot give a physical address location as to where the bus will pick-up and drop-off.if text conversations via chat always timed out before an agent would return with a answer to my question. Unable to reach anyone by phone. No Wi-Fi and no way to charge devices on the bus. Sadly, this was one of the selling points on the website. Flixbus is an economical way to travel specially for those who have no other option. I would probably pursue an alternative to flixbus .

The app does not send crutial notifications. Received an SMS that the bus was an hour late. No notification. The bus came and left 45 minutes late. No SMS and no notification. No change on the ticket in the app. Would have to keep on checking on another tab on the app to see the actual arrival time - bad design. I missed my bus. On top of that, I was charged double

Using this app has been a terrible experience. I tried to book twice and was charged both times, however both showed declined on the app. When I call the customer support line it gives the busy signal. Even the reps with the chat option did nothing but give a copy and paste response about updating the app, which is up to date. They didn't give the slightest care they charged me over $700 and now I have to go to my bank about it. This is ridiculous and should be illegal, they don't care at all.
