Biggest downfall to indeed is that they took away the option to use one of several different templates for your resume before downloading it, not just a plain blank resume. That was pretty awesome and that got taken away..? Why? Also non active employers and old job listings need to be taken care of. too many lack of responses, too many jobs on here for too long with employers that never check. Some employers post and just forget all about indeed. It's overall worth using.

I am very satisfied with the overall results from using Indeed. The site and app are very user-friendly, and I have not had any issues with it. I followed suggestions given to me from the app and have had amazing results. whether you are starting a new career or changing a current one indeed is the place to be! you won't be disappointed. the resume support is AMAZING! The feedback was honest and to the point.

Been applying non stop since over Summer '23,daily. I haven't even gotten a phone screen call back from any employer state wide or in AZ... til this week! Very frustrating process, I finally saw on an employer application, to be able to 'opt out' of having my resume AI screened. Would be nice if they can have that option for every application but I think this is only company specific? Either way, there you go, yes your resume is already getting screened by AI at least with this app. thank you

*updated review! Since applying for 'jobs' on Indeed. I get many spam callers, clearly no checks are made and many 'fake' job ads for scammers! I feel the search options should be more targeted. Towns are missing and within miles brings up many locations that aren't suitable! Postcode search doesn't always find local jobs! Otherwise it isn't too bad!

The app was working great. But they made a change to the texting service and now I don't receive messages on the app. I'll get a notification from a job but when I go to check message there's nothing new. You broke your messaging system. Put it back the way it was

This app is starting to get on my nerves. It's takes minutes to load, it lies about miles and stuff and it's stays most of the time loading in a complete white screen, I can't do anything and I've tried multiples time in and out but it keeps staying on a white screen and doesn't load.

You can totally trust this site with your information and it won't be given out to anybody! When I've tried other apps to find jobs they always end up getting out my number and my email address. That's what leads to all of the extra phone calls and crazy text messages you'll receive. stay on indeed! They are the best in the business!

The app does not work anymore. Tried opening it in multiple locations, on wifi and data, always "connection error" When it did work, it would ignore that I have asked for jobs that pay above a certain amount or that I didn't want a job that required driving. Also, who knows how many places are posting non existent job openings on here. The market is brutal enough already, now it's even harder to find better work thanks to you Eta: it turns out if you shut off a VPN, it works again. Pretty sus.

Filled with bugs.. I have been using the app 3 months now to apply for jobs. Every time I find something appealing, I get an error message "reason: Request Header Fields Too Large" or some other random text. How to fix this? I'm tired of getting these messages when I try to apply for a job because then it resets my search and I lose the job listing...

It's a great app but is hugely let down by 2 major things. The first is occasionally I will click on a job and rather than give me the description, I get a "Bad message 431" error appear. I have to keep clicking jobs or moving pages until it eventually allows me to see the job. The other issue is the amount of jobs still listed on there from 30+ days ago that are no longer seeking applications. The app needs to update and remove any expired jobs and fix the issues regarding the error messages.

About 2 years ago I was having many bad experiences with this app and used other job search apps for a while. Although they were ok, I found myself missing the many more options that Indeed had. After about half a year, I decided to download the Indeed app again and see if anything has changed. To my surprise, the developer made a number of changes, so I started using it again. Since then, it's the only job search app I use and I couldn't be more satisfied. My thanks to the developer. CHEERS

Filters are completely pointless if the app just ignores them. I repeatedly search for jobs at GCSE level within five miles of my home. I then get suggested jobs that require a masters degree that are 25 miles away. Just don't make it an option if it doesn't actually apply any changes. I'm also keep getting suggestion for doctor roles which, believe me, would not be good for anyone. Having experience in customer service is not the same as performing an appendectomy.

DONT DOWNLOAD. Randomly refreshes, lags to the point where the app doesn't work at all. I'll tap a job and sit there for 90 seconds while nothing happens. Then tap something else and a completely different thing loads, page refreshes, it scrolls by itself. Man all I wanna do is get a new job, not fight an app for 30 minutes to send one resume 🙄 2/5 this needs a lot of help. Update: 1/5. Nothing works, can't even read job descriptions, or search anything, can't save a job, nothing.

Now my searches wont save for the last few days...And now it's back to normal... This most recent update is absolutely terrible. I got over all the annoying pop up questions because I could see the benefit. However, I used to be able to click a "recent searches" tab on the home page and browse through each now it's pretty much reset each time and all my preferences seem to be null and void...updates should be for improvement not back peddling to an inferior experience.

I never review apps but they did an update within the last few days that sucks. I never had an issue with it before but now you can't get to your profile or saved jobs or anything. It's just the home button that brings you to the home page, then there's the search bar and messages. Like wth. How do you update something and make it worse? I actually had to use the browser today. Get it together Indeed!!!

I use it quite often. VERY user-friendly. I WOULD, however, encourage Indeed to modify their app where it can use a "back button." In other words, when I'm looking at a prospective job and forget to tap the bookmark button, I then hit something that changes the screen (happens WAY more than I like), I could tab a "back button" to go back to the previous screen. Lost some job prospects because of this.

It's a good app to use. Just sucks since it changed, and it doesn't filter out jobs that you don't qualify for. For example if it requires a Bachelors degree, it used to not show those jobs if you didn't have one and now it does. So the job searching is a lot more tedious. And it shows jobs that are out of state.

I hate the fact that the default tab is on "Job Feed" instead of my "Recent Searches". Every time I exit one of my searches to view the next search, it goes back to the Job Feed tab. The postings on this tab don't update, so why does it keep defaulting back?! Also, it doesn't let you save different criteria for the same job position. For example, I want to look for remote Accounting jobs and ones near my house. It won't allow me to do both. I keep having to change the filter. So frustrating.
