I'm unable to edit scenes, so every time I want it to change colors I have to open the color tab and manually select a color. None of the automation work either. They can only turn my lights various shades of white. Also, as a side note, the app looks absolutely nothing like the screen shots shown here. There aren't even preset colors you can select from and it's really hard to make it the right shade because the color picker is extremely sensitive.

The app does basic stuffs such as switching devices on/off, setting up timers. However it does not work for some advanced featues. I tried to set up an automation - turn on a bug light when it is sunset and temperature > 75F. It never worked for me. Much worse, there is no way to remove an existing condition. i have to delete the automation and start all over again.

The best smart light app out there! I love collecting lights, and I have different RGBW LED bulbs from multiple brands, instead of having a lot of different apps, I can just control everything from here! Not to mention, I can also control other smart items, for example, Security Cameras and, smart outlets! I would just have one thing to suggest, Add compatibility for different types of security cameras, because I had some wifi cameras that wouldn't connect with the QR. Other than that, Great App

Constantly requests permissions it doesn't need. If sensor battery dies, needs to be reconnected & I have to create all alerts again. For data, the graph only displays one point per hour for a whole day, one point per day for a month, or one point per month for the year. This is almost useless if you want more resolution. Finally, the "export" feature is a joke that just emails you an excel sheet for only one day, one month, or one year with no more data points than you see in the app.

There is no way to delete or reset when a device malfunctions. Using a Maxcio smart light switch. Has been functioning normally since January. Today for some reason it's suddenly stopped working. I can still see it in the app and even turn it on or off, but voice function says it is off line. I believe the issue is actually with the device oh, but the only way to fix it would be to reset it completely and start over. The app does not allow you to delete it so you can start over

This was a great app until the last update. I have multiple devices on smart plugs set on a schedule. One of which is a baby monitor; it comes on on time, however, I'm waking up all hours of the night to find the monitor switched off! Very disappointed. Thank you for the suggestion. I have tried deleting the device and reinstalling as well. Unfortunately, now I cannot get the device to reconnect.

Really needs the ability to set a schedule for the alerts. Not a difficult thing to add into the app. Other than that works fine. 2 stars because it is lacking the schedule feature. To clarify, I would like to set a timeframe for alerts for a device. In ither words, I would like to have my door sensor only send me alerts from 10PM to 6AM, but during the day I do not want to receive notifications. I know that I can manually turn off alerts everyday, but a scheduling capability would help.

When it works, it's great. Problem is, it often doesn't work. Smart outlets go offline, and have to be factory reset to be controllable again. Recently, all schedules for all my outlets disappeared from smart life app, but were still controlling my outlets. Tried to re-enter schedules, and ended up with duplicate schedules. One I could control, and one that was still hidden, that I had no control over. Resetting devices then left me where I could not get them to reconnect. Going in the trash.

What's going on?!! I've used this app for over a year. I have 2 outdoor cameras (both made to work with this app) and I stream them on my iPad. For over a month now, I've lost 2 important features. When viewing any camera, it doesn't show it full-screen. I get an image that's about as large as the screen of my cell phone! Also, the multi-screen feature has vanished. Can no longer view both cameras at the same time. These are features I used every day! There has been a few updates but no fix.

The device icons (to control devices) are so small that it would be difficult to use with a stylus, much less a finger. This forces me to open each device, wait for it to load and then control it. Then you have to return to the main screen. Painful. Too many clicks. Makes something that is meant to be super easy, a pain. PS: Same situation on 10" tablet.

I'm using This app for color changing LED lights. This app is quite nice except for one detail: The color bar for lights could use a numerical indicator. It's hard to match colors since the full range is on one little bar. It would be perfect if it displayed 1-300 or something. **Update: Every time I restart the app or the phone, any customization such as scenes reverts to default. For that I'm dropping it down to the lowest rating.

Location could impact connection. I am constantly having to turn them off/on and re-add them. Not always working. Some lights are better than others. Even with only a couple tied to a switch, I still struggle to get them added back from time to time. Alexa will turn them off, but they don't all respond. I have to pull up the app and try to turn some off that Alexa doesn't find. Gets real annoying. when they work, they are great

I cannot schedule an "Off" of a single device . I can only schedule an "On" and later an "Off". I cannot move devices into rooms once if they have already been added to the system. There is some kind of weather report in the app, but it's bizarrely wrong. Also it can't be removed. Half the page is gone with that and some subscription offer, very frustrating . The sensor programming is super basic. Normal function works and schedule works, so I like to use them for holiday lights.

2 items of note: 1. After a recent update, the last letter of the words on some buttons are cut off, for example: "schedule" becomes "schedul" and occasionally an entire word is missing. Is there any way this can be fixed? 2. The "tap and run feature" is a cool concept: it allows you to pick either a color or a scene, but doesn't allow you to pick which color or scene you want, or to create different buttons for different scenes or colors. Without that capability, the feature is rather useless.

Usable, but needs a lot of work. It's hard to change the colors of lightbulbs because the button is tiny. The system for setting routines is very unintuitive and limited; there are very few options for what I can make the bulb do. Overall, the app just feels clunky and unrefined, especially compared to the Phillips Hue app (which is also far from perfect).

This is a very simple and easy to setup and use. I would give it a MUCH higher rating if it did not crash every other day requiring me to reboot my system regularly... Edit: 6-28-2019: Turns out a lot of my problems was my aging router. Purchased a new one and the majority of the problems were solved. I have still had to reboot the system a few times but NOT nearly as much as I use to. One suggestion though. When reprogramming to an updated system, it would be nice if I did not have to go item by item. to get them connected to the new system. A simple change to the APP where I can update the new router info right there would be nice.

I like EVERYTHING about this app. It is stable and works every time. I have used it in the past for Wall Switches at multiple locations. I just started using it for Electric Outlets. It works consistently and doesn't freeze or delay. My only recommendation for the "electric outlet" portion is this: There should be a different color icon for when the outlet is powered "ON" or not powered, "OFF". Right now when I look at the list of all outlets on one screen, I can't distinguish between which ones are currently on and which ones are off. Once you click on each individual icon, only then you can see if it's on or off.

4.6 / 5 stars is an ABSOLUTE LIE!!!! This app is obtuse and does NOT work right. I generally have to physically turn my lights off and back on again in order to use the app. This would be fine if it wasn't, idk, worse than just flipping a switch and having light. If the app worked as intended, this would be a cool concept. Alas, it does not. EASILY SOME OF THE WORST SOFTWARE/USER INTERFACE I'VE COME ACROSS IN A LONG TIME.
