Best game ever!!! I just finished reading many, many negative reviews. I too was bothered by all the ads when I first began to play Scrabble on my phone. However, I enjoy playing Scrabble so much, especially playing with friends and family now living too far away, to not play with them any longer. It really was a no-brainer to simply pay the $12.00 (I believe was the cost), in order to continue playing with them and without the ads!!!

I once had this as a 5 star. I have reduced it to 3 stars because my screens or games are constantly freezing up. I have installed the updates. I have to continuously get out of the game and get back in for the board to unfreeze. Letters will not move. I cannot hit the submit button. I have had this game for years and loved it. But its getting to be a hassle now.

Fun but Annoying. This version of Scrabble scratches the itch, but is riddled with ads which are very tricky to close without accidentally clicking on the wrong spot and being sent to a website. It has a rather limited dictionary of acceptable words. The game allows players to "test" words before playing them, eliminating the challenge aspect of the game and the threat of losing a turn entirely. 1st turns can be cancelled and restarted infintely, guaranteeing a starting bingo every time.

It's a good Scrabble game, but there's a lot of scams to look out for. The ads can become a bit annoying. And recently I've been having an issue where the game will freeze and I can't interact with anything without closing the app and reopening it. Sometimes it'll freeze after I just start playing or it'll freeze while I'm in the middle of spelling a word.

A well designed app. But it is so frustrating to use it because you're constantly deceived by bots in disguise and ads. I understand they have to make money through ads but there are too many ads and too many steps to make even to get out of the routine to get the "prizes". In short this is a beautiful app but leaves one frustrated. What a shame!

I keep coming back to this game to see if it's gotten any better...but no it actually looks like it's gotten worse ..(if that's even possible)...The game glitches, lags and freezes so much!!..and it still has a ridiculous amount of ads. Also the monthly charge is way too high for a bunch of bot opponents. Really tries your patience. Uninstalled... again.

The app drowns you in ads. Ads to buy more tiles, ads for other games, ads to remove the ads. VIDEO ads, every other turn! After I recovered from ad overdose, I decided to buy the full version. Guess what - there isn't one! The cost is $8 PER MONTH, or $98/year. The cost of a Hulu subscription which gives you thousands of programs. Nearly the cost of Amazon Prime. To play SCRABBLE! The ads are also tasteless and bizarre, most involve gambling and contain outright lies. Stay away.

The frequency of ads is a disgrace and make the game borderline unplayable. One full-screen ad after every one or two turns in a single-player mode game is despicable, especially when it costs $8 A MONTH to get rid of them, and there are always banner ads on every other screen on top of it. Subscription-based ad-free "memberships" are ridiculous and overpriced. This app has the potential to be fun but the ad overload and FOMO gimmicks turn me way off from it.

I love the game. I play one on one and multi player games. I really like the daily word search. I also do some of the adventures etc. There does seem to be a problem with stats, especially in the multiplayer games. I don't like those cards. I don't even know what purpose they have. It just uses up more time. What I dislike most is the ads. Some are tolerable but it is too often. I keep looking to see if there is a version to purchase that wouldn't include ads but I don't see any.

this is the most excessive amount of ads I've ever seen. I don't want to have a 30 second ad after every move, it's insane. and if I'm not accidentally clicking ad after ad because they have fake close buttons, the app will constantly crash. graphical glitches also make this near unplayable sometimes. terrible honestly

Take a turn watch another ad!! I play multiple games with each friend. The more I play the more I seem to be punished for not playing "ad free". Good grief, ad free for 1 single day is .99 cents. Or you can pay more for whatever else they are trying to pressure you into. Scrabble is fun and a great way to spend time with friends you can't easily see every day. But I feel pressured to the extreme to pay so I can even take another turn quickly. Ads just keep coming.

While I LOVE playing Scrabble with a friend, I've been disappointed lately about collecting rewards. I hit the 'Claim' button...and the reward just disappeared. Repeatedly. Just wondering what's up with that. Maybe a glitch in an update? 🤷‍♀️ Otherwise, you all are AWESOME! Thanks for allowing me to help out a friend going through a rough time by allowing me to give them support and an entertaining distraction. Hugs!

The app is bloated with popups and unnecessary features. You'll receive at least 2 push notifications every single day. The UI is intrusive and confusing to understand. While the minigames are fun and Scrabble itself runs well, everything else about the app only serves to slow you down and sell you in-app purchases. If you're just looking for a way to play Scrabble on the go, look elsewhere.

The smartest part about this game is the variety. It's being able to play the game itself...but theres options when bored. The prizes suck. * (was good prior to "cards" being a prize. Barf), "word search".. that's a big deal when your tired and in bed/relaxing. Lots of different games .💯 to whom created "Show Down"!!! Something to look forward to..no ads! I know there's always a reason.. I get the ads. But there's a better option..I'm sure I'll delete it again.

Started playing 3 years ago. Enjoyed it. Then the cost for help and hints doubled. It went from 10 diamonds to 20. That's ridiculous. I only use them when I'm in a bind, e.g., can't find a move anywhere on the board, or I get a hand with all vowels (which has happened a lot since the cost for help went up). Disappointed at this huge price increase. You lost me as a customer.

Fun to play. But I hope you like ads, because there's one at the end of Every. Single. Move. Usually only 5-10 seconds, but it gets very tiresome. The game seems to be designed to give you mostly vowels. You can exchange tiles, but you have to watch a 30 second ad first. I find myself having to exchange quite often to get rid of multiple vowels.

Ads will drive you crazy! Great games, but after every single turn, you are forced to see ads. Be careful of "buying" to be ad-free. It's a trick. You really only buy 30 minutes of ad-free play, or maybe a few hours. I was duped. Turns out you can pay a higher than most other games monthly fee to be ad free. If you don't mind the constant ads sucking away minutes of your life, then you'll have no complaints with this otherwise enjoyable game.

I love this game!! Though the amount of ads are beyond intrusive, almost harassing to be honest. Yeah you can either watch an ad (go figure) for 30 mins of an ad free experience. And there is the cheap $.99 payment for 24 hours without ads. For those who don't wish to do either of those options, all you have to do is when the ad starts, go to task manager and clear it. Open the game and you will be right back where you left off! No game loading or anything! Easy and quick fix, hence the 5 star
