Played this as a kid on Armor Games I think. Currently replaying it on Hard difficulty. Now as an adult it is just as fun as I remember it being. Like others said, no ads, great gameplay, lots of little humor sprinkled throughout. I plan on playing the other three after this one. Great game to unwind a bit after a long day or on a day off!

This is fun. Amusing character design, bits of dialogue, and appearance. You do have to consider what towers, upgrades, and specializations will help you win. Plenty of upgrades and helpful equipment to buy. I liked trying to get three stars (for upgrades) and gems (for coins, lives, bombs) on every scenario and never used payments to get the other heroes or conveniences. Great timepass during the past month. When I finish this game I will happily buy the next installment.

Nearly unplayable on newer phones. If the application loses focus, it freezes. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when it's so easy to make the switch applications gestures, which is enough to kill it and lose all progress. Look for a dev update on this one. The gameplay seems good. Microtransactions haven't been an issue an hour or two in on the hardest setting, but I expect to hit the microtransaction roadblock at some point. I'm hoping for paid version without microtrans.

Good tower defense game. The towers all feel necessary, and the upgrade tree is powerful and flexible. Plenty of different enemies and map hazards to keep things varied. Never felt pressured to spend money, and it would only buy me one-time use items. The options menu is very basic, and could use a few accessibility features like font adjustment. I personally had trouble with enemies that had ranged attacks, and the necromancers as my towers could only focus on the enemies ahead of them.

I love these games. I've played them for years, Origins is my favorite out of the bunch. The heroes are great, many of them do unique things, and they're all used differently. All the tower abilities give these games an awesome level of depth, along side the incredibly interesting enemies. On the early levels, they show you some basic strategies and help you through. But some of the post game levels require a rock solid strategy and lots of precision. Overall I definitely recommend these games.

I love tower defense games! This is an instant classic. It features 4 towers, with 4 upgrades. Once fully upgraded, you can choose 1 of 2 special abilities, unique to that unit. There is a lot of different ways to tackle each level, which makes it fun to replay. After a victory, you are given 1, 2, or 3 stars. You can use these stars at an Upgrade room, allowing further enhancements of each tower before/after a mission. Highly recommend if your a fan of tower defense games.

GREAT Game, don't get me wrong, but there's a pretty annoying issue that happens when you get a call, or accidentally leave the app, that crashes the game, and doesn't allow you to resume where you left off, forcing you to start over... This is extremely inconvenient when you're super far into a game.

The first campaign is a blast! I love it! But then once I finished the sequence, it rolled to credits. More campaigns popped up. And maybe I just suck at games, but these campaigns get REAL hard. And I can't beat em unless I purchase a bunch of ammo with crystals. And those cost money. So it's the end of the road for me with this game. But I'm sure many of you will not find the advanced campaigns hard like I did.

I think this is the 3rd time I've installed this game on a device I own, and I love it every time! Well balanced, fun animations, a story that exists(this genre doesn't require a great story, but an effort is always appreciated), and the challenge of the game scales well depending on your selected difficulty. 10/10 would recommend :D

This is probably one of the best (free) TD games on mobile. It's got really easy controls that you can understand even without a tutorial. It's got a gun campaign that's not too long but long enough to keep you occupied for a 5-4 hour flight and even longer if you explore the harder difficulties and harder activities. I recommend this to anyone who likes the mid-evil setting and has also enjoyed the BTD games.

This game, is so good, without a doubt. At first the stages are pretty simple and you feel pretty bored. Then the game hits you with some intense battles and it provides so much stress but so much fun. Overall, this is a great game with only a few annoying aspects. For example, i wish it saved what wave you were on in a match so that you could exit out instead of having to pause and leave the game open.

Great game, one flaw in the levels: when you get to the level where your towers start freezing up by magic bindings. Devs must come up with a better way the towers can be freed. You basically have to tap on the tower as fast as you can to free it before it freezes and you're lucky to free two before all your other towers freeze. Often the game will think you are trying to upgrade and this is very frustrating. Devs could have come up with a better mechanic than this. Not fun, just frustrating.

Beginning the line of famous TD games, the original Kingdom Rush is an amazing game. What sets this TD game apart from others is that it includes many features. First, the levels are special and are not repetitive with new enemies and new lands to defend. Second, the balance of the game is really good and generally simple to understand, yet allows for differing strategies. Third, this KR game gives a healthy sense of difficulty for the new levels after finishing the main campaign.

Great game. Can get a little tough at first if you're not creating a good strategy but gets better after you get the hang of it. It's still tough but quite challenging and rewarding when you do win a round. Feels like you do needs to spent some real money to get more advantage by buying more items early on before heroes are available. But ultimately I reccomend it to kill some time a day and if u don't mind long learning curves.

Played this game multiple times before, both app and PC version (slightly prefer the latter). Literally just downloaded again to leave this review. This is the absolute king of tower defense games. By a huge margin. Not even close. You're never gonna look at other games of this genre the same. Everything from concept to visual design to sound is just excellent. I actually really enjoy the more playful, innocent optics. This game has character! Whoever came up with this is an absolute genius

Good game that is highly engaging and well designed, with enjoyable gameplay, slick graphics, and complete sound design. However, the problem is that there is just not enough of it. All of the campaigns can be beaten and all of the research tree unlocked in maybe 10 hours of gameplay. That for a game that is trying to sell additional unlockable features and characters is simply not enough content.

One of the best tower defense games out there. The quirky animations and the well balanced enemies make this one of the more challenging games even at the least difficulty level. The unlockables do not require a grind and the currency is well awarded, which nets you the powerups during gameplay. The cartoony animations and their quality (sharpness, color etc.) are to be commended. The stages go up in difficulty within reason and the addition of different heroes only makes you define the gameplay on your terms. All in all, I went into this game thinking it will be one of the more generic tower defense games out there, but it really exceeded my expectations. Great work guys... keep 'em comin'!

The only negative think I have to say for this game is it really requires you to think ahead and learn from your mistakes which is only negative if you want a quick no effort easy win. The game has a larger jump in difficulty than I expected and I absolutely love it. I think they're should be more towers instead of just unique final upgrades but even those keep you interested enough to not be bothered by having only four basic towers. I love the experience and the surprising curve in difficulty.
