Once I heard, good things always ends. I must say it is true. This game changes a lot of things, not in a good way. First they added more levels and champions, now they added much more money-hungry features such as evolution cards and diamond battle pass. They also removed books of books from the battle pass which is one of the valuest thing to buy from it. I feel like I can't continue playing this game any longer to save my money and sanity.

The app overall is a really fun game. I'm giving it a five even though I have a major problem with it. Pay to win people. They spend a significant amount of money on the game and make it VERY hard to beat them and make it much harder to advance when it's becoming more and more common. There should be some trophy refunding system where if you vs someone that has spent money, you lose less trophy's or something along these lines.

The games is 5 stars, it involves strategy, thinking, and planning but the matchmaking sucks a bit. Sometimes it unfair because you may play against others who are overleveled or pay-to-win. Though this problem doesn't matter at max level, it takes quite a while to reach it. It is kinda grindy as it is difficult to get much gold, and there is a daily cap on how much gold you can earn. This game is very grindy for free to play, but if you can always shell out a few bucks to progress faster.

Been playing for years, great just to hop on and enjoy a quick game or two Edit: Changed to 3 stars. I've been playing for 7 years and the game has slowly been shifting over to Pay-to-Win which has destroyed it in many ways. They really hound you to spend your money on upgrades for progression, playing this game for free now will get you nowhere. Luckily, I've been playing for so long I don't need the progression but for anyone starting I'd leave. Great game for those high levelled though...

I have been playing this game for many years (at least since 2018/2019, if not earlier. I used to LOVE this game, I made friends and family download it so we could play together, and it was a blast! I had great times and really enjoyed farming my way up. Since the introduction of the "double battle pass" and evolutions, I think they've been pushing a bit too much into the hard currency rewards / pay to advance mechanics, but what I personally find worse of all is the endless scrolling in the UI

I've been playing this regularly for a few years. It's been great to take a break from work, have a few battles, help the clan etc... except it's progressively become pay to win, and the evolution cards have taken away almost all the fun. You can be having a good, well balanced battle... then the evolution kicks in and there's no point any more. Oh well, perhaps it was time to move on anyway, so am uninstalling. Thanks for the good games, back in the day...

I've been playing Clash Royale for 7 years. When it first started the game require lots is strategy and competitions were really fun. Now, with the integration of evolved cards it has changed the game from strategic to more arcade type. There are just something's that aren't fair, and Supercell knows that those paying and giving them money are the ones with the upper hand. It's just been a 7 year slope of greed increase. And truly make me miss the nostalgic Clash Royale from 5, 6 years ago.

I've played this game for years and always had a fun time. However, the latest update is a big money grab. They clearly don't care about the player base. They want you to spend $100 to unlock the four new level 15 cards and then spend another $10 to upgrade a single card. Otherwise the amount of time it will take without paying the steep price will be outrageous. I'm talking months to max a single card from level 14 to 15. Supercell you've failed us yet again.

I've played this game for over 5yrs and have been a loyal pass holder month after month... now the game lags, freezes and crashes all the time even when i have full service and/or on wifi with full service... I've reached out to supercell many times and there's never a response or fix to the problem... it's absolutely ridiculous to have the game crash in the middle of a match and I really hope they fix it asap but I know they won't bc they don't care about anything but making more money

This game used to be really enjoyable, but now instead of a $5 season pass we get $6 gold pass and $12 diamond pass. What makes it worse is that both passes don't even have book of books or magic gold coin to help you upgrade cards. It's now more easier to unlock champions and no longer need to reach King's level 15. Game's more broken than ever, game keeps crashing still, and it's not so fun now. Ever since April Season Pass update I've stopped buying passes, cause it's no longer worth it.

Every update makes the game more and more unplayable. With the current update, if you were to start playing right now, you will never have an opportunity to unlock the new level 15 cards. This update is by far the worst in recent times. If you save every single coin earned throughout the game, it will still take 2 seasons, or 2 months, to upgrade a singular card to level 15. And you need to be max level 15 before that's even a possibility.

Too many forms of currency in the game. Turtle slow pace of advancement especially after the update to evolution cards and level 15. Pay to play is their way. For the love of God give the player the option to turn off chest animations. Id give two stars back just for that. Used to love this game but I give up stuck at level 13 for so long and XP is so slow. Facing level 15s. So more of the same vs SC always deals out.

The game started out fun, but has become absolute garbage compared to what it used to be. The most recent updates have officially destroyed the game for me. In my opinion, skill is no longer needed with the new evolution cards and this once great RTS has become nothing more than playing against the exact same decks over and over again. And unless you're willing to pay, (or spend way too much time) you'll never be able to overcome the gaps that Supercell has created.

Update: don't play. This is a purely pay to win game. The only skill you need is to pay for upgrades. If you are stuck in a realm, play other games so you can lose & progress in trophy road. Poor balancing makes this a pay to win game. I've been stuck on a arena for a long time. The game is rigged to keep you struggling to pay for winning. There is some chance and strategy but all that can be bought away with higher level cards. Stay away. Don't reward the developers for making an unbalanced gam

Literally unplayable. It crashes every single minute into the game. Nothing makes it better, and it just keeps getting worse. It use to only crash every single match I played. And before that it was every other match. But literally 60 seconds into running the app the whole thing crashes? Dog water.

Latest Update Makes the game unplayable for non-paying players. Evolved cards are just too powerful and difficult to obtain. In the past I didn't mind being a little behind the power curve against people who were dropping money on this game. I could still beat them if they weren't good and eventually I'd catch up. But the evolved cards are too good. I can't beat anyone that has one and I'm nowhere close to having my own. Been playing for over seven years and want to quit now. Bas job, Supercell.

The latest update to the game was just absolutely terrible for the game. The Card Evolution introduction was amazing, but the way they implemented the grind for it was awful. $100 for all 4 Evolution cards is a terrible way to promote the new mechanic to the game. Also, with the addition to Level 15 (oh sorry, ELITE level), this just became the biggest scam in the game's history, probably the biggest scam in mobile gaming history. For everyone's sake, delete the game until change happens.

Been playing the game for over 6 years and never spent a penny. Was always enjoyable but this last update causes me to log in twice EVERY time I open the game. Every time a duel goes into a third round, the game crashes. I tried playing the elite barbarian event and as soon as I played the card, the game crashed. Never had i been this frustrated so unless this is fixed QUICK, I'll have no choice but to uninstall. Updating from 2 stars to 1 star bc the game has gotten worse since I last posted.
