This game is awesome! I love the plants and zombies designs. And I love the music!!! Sadly there is an glitch that stops music tracks when an ad plays like the choose your plants theme and ultimate battle and the only way I found to fix it is to uninstall the game and then reinstall it to get the music back. Other than that It's the classic plants vs zombies video game.

Very fun game! And a timeless classic too. Never get tired of pelting zombies with fruits, veggies, and all kinds of stuff! It never really lags either! Awesome game! Only things are DON'T like is that you have to grind to unlock other modes, get ads after every level and you lose ALL of your progress if removed. There is no way to recover it. Incredibly annoying. Change that, and this game would be perfect.

I love how in this game, unlike most games, allows you to turn off ads. Also, you can do everything that you can do on the paid version for PC. Also to everybody complaining about too many ads, just turn on airplane mode. Nothing in game requires internet. It's sad to see so many people leave this game due to a small issue with a very easy fix.

I'm so disappointed in this version. I've loved this game since it first game out, and the game itself is mostly fine. But the ADS! So many disruptive ads. I even paid to remove them, and it's incredibly inconsistent whether they show up (and more often than not, there are still ads). Its like someone got the code base, stuck a whole bunch of ads in there to monetize, and doesn't even know how to manage that aspect of it. Terrible, and so sad.

This game overall is a pretty fun game. It's a good way to sit down and get your brain working when thinking of strategies unless you play a random style. The graphics are nice and the game is possible to beat. The only reason I've rated 4 stars is because of the amount of ads. I'm fine with games having ads because it's how the creators earn money, but this game has so many. Literally anytime you switch to a different menu in the game you get an ad, usually a 20+ second one at that.

This can be a super fun game, I enjoyed playing it several years ago. Unfortunately they changed it to have more in app purchases (annoying but not the end of the world) but my huge frustration (and the reason for 1 star) is that despite paying for the no ad version I still get stuck watching an ad every level! If they could fix this I would easily give it 5 stars, but not now!

I actually love this game. I bought it on PC when it was first released, then on xbox, then I bought it on mobile, etc etc and so on. The OG is truly fantastic. However, the mobile version is a nightmare of micro transactions & ads which are incredibly frustrating and long and usually unskippable. You can pay $3 to remove third party ads. I'm only giving this version 3 stars instead of 5 bc I actually did pay to remove ads, and it did not work. Still have ads before and after every single level

The game itself deserves 5 stars. It is super nostalgic and is excellent! However, there are just so many ads! It disrupts gameplay, and while it's a free game so it needs ads, I 100% understand, and watching vids to get extra stuff is not only reasonable but genius. And at the same time it'd be nice if it didn't disrupt the game play and take you out of it. Other than that, great game! Highly recommend!

I miss the tree of wisdom, that was a fun little add-on. the controls are a little off, placing plants sometimes doesnt put there where I click and will put them in the next space instead. I've also ended up digging up the wrong plants due to this and has caused me to lose a few levels and start over. Also disappointed it seems they got rid of the mini game Whack-A-Zombie, I got it a few times in watching ads for bonus games but when I go to the mini game section it's not there anymore.

LOVE this game, I've loved it for years. My original app recently stopped working so I had to redownload it. It has ads now that it DID NOT have before, but I love it so I payed to remove the ads and splurged on a couple coin packs. The ads are still there and when I uninstalled and reinstalled to try to fix it, I lost all my progress and the coins I had purchased because the only restore button is for the no ads purchase. I'm very upset, please fix this.

I downloaded this game a few months ago and have enjoyed it immensely. Until the 7/2019 update. The text on some of the buttons and dialogue boxes is now almost impossible to read. It's going to be completely inaccessible for a lot of people. The ergonomics of the game are now absolutely lousy for the left hand. Because they expanded the house and shrunk the playing field, the left thumb has to reach much further into the screen to tap anything, and this could lead to problems for some people. And why change the space the house takes up at all? It literally adds absolutely nothing at all to the gameplay. I really liked the way the old adventure just led you through the game, instead of the player having to choose which level (s) to play like they do now. I'm giving this one star because of the update. If they had left it the way it was, I would have given it five. So hey, Electronic Arts: How about giving folks the choice to play on the classic interface instead of this new one, which sucks?

The game is still good as it's a childhood favorite of mine, but they got rid of the classic, friendly, retro-feeling home screen. It's now cold and everything is smaller and harder to read. Also, quick play is gone because of this stupid-looking level selector that doesn't even let you play any level even though you've already beaten adventure mode. And they shrunk the playable area during the actual game. Why? I have to bid farewell to my childhood favorite and uninstall. So long, nostalgia.

A childhood game that I really loved. When I first installed it I loved that they kept the original look, and everything was kept in the same place. I even loved the free play, since it allowed me to play a small game of whack a zombie, wall-nut bowling, and others as well. THEN. CAME. THE. UPDATE. First thing I noticed was that the retro look was gone lettering got smaller, no free play , things that are placed in more awkward spaces. I do admit I liked the stage level selects but that is all.

I just love this game and the performance across new and older, slower smart phones (mine is slower...). The interplay may seem slow, but it's building tension that's fun to resolve. Has not crashed nor have I seen a glitch or bug in the years since it first came out. That's awesome development and it's uniquely novel, more so than the vast variety of other apps (if.only all would approach quality and user experience with the same enthusiasm). Get it!

Like most games, the ads have made this almost unplayable. There's an unskippable 45 second ad before each game played now and I'm only at level 2. That's 45 seconds and maybe 2 minutes of play time. Was enjoying the game but will likely Uninstall today. The concept is good, but I don't have time for these ads, especially when trying to sneak in a game between clients at work.

It use to be a fun game, but then they introduced ads to it witch killed it and its become bugy. I was on night 3 of the game and getting the 7th slot for plants and it crashed, when I started it back up it brought me back to the very beginning, I really like the game and I grew up playing it, but if I'm going to be hit with a ton of ads and then having to restart my whole save its not worth it. It getting 2 stars because it's a childhood game but other then that it would be a 0 stars. Do better

It's the good old PvZ from the computer, with a couple new minigames and things. I like everything they've added except for one thing: the ads. I get that it's free, but an unskippable, unmutable ad before AND after every level? And those ads are significantly louder than the game, and some of them crash the game. I stop playing this game when I get tired of the ads, which is ridiculous.

Remove ads doesn't work. I don't usually spend money on games to remove ads, but I thought I okay this enough that I would, but I still get all the ads just like I did. And the long ads where you have to hit 4 different close buttons. Between every other flag on survival, anytime i go to the main menu, and every single time as before. I confirmed they took the money out, and the option to buy now on remove ads is gone, so I know I purchased it. I restarted the game thinking it was that, nope.
