Description of The Ants: Underground Kingdom

The story begins with a small ant, which is one of 11,000 species of ants. When the sun shine through, it comes another busy day.

In The Ants: Underground Kingdom, you are the ultimate Ant Ruler to lead the Queen, build your Anthill, grow the colony, and defend against enemies. To survive and reproduce, wars between animals take place frequently in nature. For the glory and prosperity of your ant empire, you must show your own strategies and resourcefulness.

- AUTHENTIC ANTHILL
The Anthill of an ant colony is the same as the castle of an empire, which provides a safe place for the offspring to grow. Anthill layout is strategically crucial, so you should plan your hive wisely, construct tunnels, thus building your ideal ant empire!

- REALISTIC ANTS
Perfectly refered to the ants in reality, the number of ants in a colony represents the rise and fall of an ant empire. For the development of your ant empire, you must hatch as many ants as possible. So, you can lead them to fight, plunder resources, and expand your territory!

- MUTATE ANTS
To plunder resources and expand territory, you must build a mighty Ant Troop. In addition to numerous advanced Soldier Ants, You also need to have leaders for your Ant Troops: the Special Ants. You can get powerful Special Ants by hatching different eggs. Your Ant Troop will gain a sweeping edge with a proper formation of Soldier Ants and Special Ants.

It is a fun game, but there is a very limited number of players per server. At some point, every server faces a choice. Option A: They decide to coexist peacefully. The server remains competitive in SvS competitions and everyone is able to grow, but eventually many of the players quit out of boredom. Option B: They decide to fight. While more fun, the server is weakened and becomes unable to compete in SvS. Players on the losing side quit because they feel unable to catch up to other players.

It is definitely entertaining, I am concerned with spending too much time on this game and not getting back to real life like I should. There is definitely a lot of free stuff given, and way more options to also buy packs and packs of stuff. The prices seem kinda high too for such a simple game. I remember playing games on PC where you bought the game once and you no longer kept getting invaded with the thought of having to spend more. You just got to enjoy the game after that.

It's your standard build and battle simulation. Premise is interesting though! Wish I could rotate my buildings so they'd fit better sometimes. Would also love to be able to turn off world chat as it's annoying and usually has spam messages. Also the tutorial could have maybe covered a bit more or gone more in-depth for my understanding. I did still get a little confused when put on my own for a bit. Everything else is pretty good though and runs nicely!

Very fun game with multiple layers of things you can do. At first it's a bit overwhelming but fairly easy to learn. This can be played solo, however it's a very multiplayer targeted game. There are multiple ways in which players can compete and cooperate to earn rewards. There is a big "Pay To Win" incentive to be the top dog on leaderboards. However the P2W does not unfairly work against the non paying players outside of the ranking and high end leaderboards....

Pretty fun, easy to play and to level up with good graphics. the game offers a lot of gameplay help as well as an ingame tutorial, you can get far without paying but if you do the packs are relatively cheap. Downside would be the amount of resources needed and the super long build times in the higher levels, but then again there's speedups available to help its just a tiny bit annoying

Its a very fun game! Oddly addicting as well, to which makes it a lot more fun. The only issue I'd have is the inability to friend an individual of a different server, or more so relocate to a specific server while also remaining with your progress. This is only a tiny peeve, and doesn't really hinder on the experience.

Initially addictive. Haven't dealt with the toxic pay-to-win players yet, but it's probably coming. Interface is overwhelming at first, but becomes relatively intuitive. Indepth tutorial might become overbearing if you can't skip it if you start from scratch again. Will probably add or subtract a star within the next couple of weeks depending on how long-term gameplay goes...

Im back, with a fresh perspective. Again, all I said before this review is what i think is good about the game, that being the amount of content. However, the game is VERY grindy when it comes to Evolve. I can only evolve one thing at a time and it can take forever, plus there's multiple things to evolve to the point of it being more annoying than fun. Also, the constant pop up of "Buy This" everytime I log back in gets infuriating, especially if the pop up is $99.99. Overall, just average

Okay, I like that there aren't any ads (for once) but the leveling is kind of lame. It doesn't show different animations for time driven upgrades. If the player has to close the app everytime he or she makes an upgrade then the least the creators could do, is add unique animations and styles to each upgrade. Takes way too long eventually upgrade the queen which never changes esthetically either and waaay too long of a tutorial which should be optional. Cool idea, but not enjoyable to play at all

It's a richly detailed, beautiful game, but I absolutely hate being forced through a lengthy, controlling tutorial that gives you no choice in what/where to click. More than 5 mins. The extensive details & rules don't stick or matter to me if I can't get a taste for the overall gameplay first. There's clearly a lot to explore here & I may revisit when I have more time to dedicate to a phone game.

If you are seeking an easy-win idle game, then seek elsewhere. However... the complexity in this game and the attention to detail is excellent. I like the style, albeit, it took an adjustment to understand many of the mechanics and the layout of the game. It's a challenge to learn right out the gate, but once you start grasping how to do things, it becomes rather enticing and addicting!

This game is like other city builder mobile games. It does have the cool twist of being an ant colony. The pictures are awesome and I do like the mechanics. Probably won't be a active time filler, but I think it'll still be a bit of fun. The tutorial does a pretty good job of increasing your level while showing off each part of the game, bit by bit. It can get overwhelming, would be helpful if you could zoom out farther. Other than that though it's pretty fun 8/10.

I like this game. Very easy and fun to get around. Though when it comes to going outside of the hill and you have to kill the bugs, but there's no organization. There are bugs all over the place in different levels and it tells you that you have to beat this level bug to go on. If you guys can make a list of the bugs that you choose to kill and showing other bugs like it in different levels and show how long the distance is in between them, I may change my rating.

Game has surprising depth and pretty visuals. I can't really justify some of the pricetags on microtransactions. $100 is too much to spend on in-game currencies in my opinion. However the game can be f2p. The game could definitely explain a few things a little better during the tutorial, but you pick things up as you tap more. It's quite generous with resources and the tech trees are pretty developed. All in all, I'd say it's quickly become one of my staple games very quickly.

Very comprehensive tutorial that leaves you feeling confident and a Task/quest system that helps you figure out what to do next. Alliances tend to be friendly and only a little bit of drama from lots of ant-people trying to become the biggest hill on the field. Server vs. server challenges are fun as well, with everyone working together to accomplish specific tasks. I've been playing for over a month, and no monotony nor pressure to spend any money to reach a goal.

I would 100% pay for a simplified version for the Playstation or Nintendo Switch. The graphics are beautiful, the music is soothing. I almost feel like I'm learning about ants. There are too many ants to learn and the mechanics of the game may be a bit too detailed for me, but I do wish there was a simpler console version. Also, there needs to be a "back" button after getting a reward. Sometimes the image lingers and I can't get back to the game without using my phone's back button.

Good game, kinda addictive. I think it needs more activity in certain areas of the game. And more ways to get supplies for building and upgrading. Cause eventually you will find yourself having to raid others, or needing to buy packs... But overall it's a descent game. Very time consuming. But will lead you to get bored with it in due time. But I do like where they are going with the game in certain things the lady bug challenge could be a lot better maybe it should be a battle royal instead.

Decent game, but it has a couple of issues. For one, the amount of speedups you get is unreasonable. I have 50 5 minue speedups, and I don't even try to get them. Also, it's like the developer forgot about water, every resource has multiple ways to farm except water, which is way more limited. There's a lot of visual clutter, boxes and buttons to press everywhere and it's often confusing. But it's not too bad, after all, I'm still playing it.
