Slightly laggy, along with the other complaints about the game totally not being as shown in the ads. It's almost like the mobile strike games where you have to build up your buildings and armies, but also has a match 3 concept to it as well. It's not horrible to say the least. Just disappointed because the game the app advertises looks like it would be pretty fun!

The game can be fun at times, but mostly frustrating. The only reason I've kept the game is because the people I've met in the game. Otherwise crafting a weapon you'll never get more than a common computer, while everyone is crafting 2-4 epic weapons in a row. Showdown you get ridiculous personal quest you couldn't complete without spending hundreds of dollars and speedups. Crafting are good but not good enough to keep the game installed and keep wasting thousands of dollars on a game.

Forget the ads. Bog standard match 3 game. It does have more to do than some of the others but by the time you reach Chapter 8 in the main quest it becomes pay to win You'll never be able to recruit characters strong enough to carry on and it takes forever to assemble the resources you need to upgrade the meager ones you can get at the tavern, when you actually get one instead of a fragment or a useless item you won't be able to use because you aren't leveled up enough to use it.

This is one of the most over tutoralized games I've ever played. I can't get into it because the game keeps stopping me to force me to do something. Let me explore on my own. Have a ask for tip button if you think people need it. It's barely even a game art this point. Just click what the game tells you too. not to mention the ads have near zero to do with the game play.

Tutorial is WAY too long, there is a lot of "features" that intertwine in an inconvenient methodical sort of way. Looking at the game store all of the purchase items is like looking at a legal crime. With all of their ads it makes sense of why. The only reason someone could continue to play the game is that the player has a fetish for losing money, time and respect for one's self.

The matching mix with a build and conquer concept works well. The game can be played as free to play with no need to spend. However there is a huge incentive to spend on the game to do so. Ads are thankfully non existent. And it is possible to join an alliance and make some really good online friend. That said the reason for my 2* is the game is glitched with constant drops has made it unplayable. It seems if you have a sanctuary in more then 1 state on the same device. It becomes unplayable

A NIGHTMARE. I actually really like this game; if you like RPGs & games like candy crush, it's great - gem matching meets zombie survival RPG. BUT I can't recommend it, I spent a lot of $$$ & SO much time, then the game froze, crashed & no longer works. I've a great phone, this never happens. Apparently this was a problem they had to patch last year & release notes on how to fix it. Still happened to me & no fix worked. It opens, the first screen shows, it crashes. ALL progress & ~$40 gone.

It really pisses me off that it forces you to do things. I understand it wants to show you how to play the game but at least give me an option to skip the tutorial and at some point the tutorial has to stop. I've been play for over 30 minutes and it's still pointing at stuff and I can't click on anything else but what it wants me to do. Really annoying. Already annoyed it isn't just a puzzle game like empires and puzzles but a mix of that game and zombie survival.

I saw an ad for this, and I thought, "Wow. Something entirely new and fun. Very original." Downloaded the game and was very disappointed. It is nothing like the ad at all. Its just matching colors and battling zombies over and over. I got rid of it. If it was adventurous like the ad, would be a phenominal game. Otherwise, boring as hell.

Like so many other games, if you think people want to play a game like the one you advertise, make that game. This is nothing like advertising. I "played" it for 10 min. Got tired of just clicking where it told me to. I already know how to match colors, dont need the help, and didnt intend on playing a building/hero collecting/upgrading/ and some matching game. However, some people probably like it. Not a fan when it offers to sell me upgrades before I finished the "how to" phase.

The game is nothing like the ad, I would absolutely love to play a survival game where you actually have to survive by solving puzzles as you come across new obstacles. Just make it that people have to restart every time they die, so you have more encouragement to Ace those puzzles. I was hoping for different choices and storylines that you could unlock but it's not like that at all. It's just another bejeweled featuring zombies.

after 45 minutes I wished I had my 45 minutes back. the puzzles are boring and stop-and-go while you wait for zombies to attack. theres a zillion little blinking bits and bobs constantly trying to get you to click on them to tell you the same thing it told you 30 seconds ago. the characters have no character. it tries to do too much and doesn't do any of it well. at least I didn't get bombarded with ads every minute! thats always worth at least one star!

Would you like to play the card game War? You only start with Aces and Twos, but you can unlock a higher card every month! We promise it's a strategy game! I've been playing this game for 180 days. I have done reasonably well, placing in the Global top 5% of events, and top 25 of free for all events. Here are the pros and cons: 1. Logistics - There's a fun aspect of resource management/gathering in the game. You gather and buy buildings, research, and upgrades. Yay! 2. Events - Once you learn how to manage your sanctuary, you can start timing gains with events, allowing you to get more points, gains, and advancements. This is an addicting part of the game, and one I enjoy figuring out how to do the best at. 3. Puzzles - There is a story campaign that starts, but has no closure. When you reach the end, there is no story, cinematic, or other ending to the 24 levels you fought through. The story drops, and starts over at a harder version of level 1. What's more, the puzzles seem like a challenge until you realize your NPC enemies are either grossly over your power level, or easy enough to be able to be taken by the autoplay function. Sure, you can eek out a manual victory against a hard level once in awhile, but most of the time it is a matter of how much you have upgraded your heroes. 3. Theme - All over the place! Zombie game? Mutant spiders/scorpions? Godzilla mods... puppies and kittens to rescue?! What the hell is going on?! They could do a lot by leaning into the zombie theme and making it immersive, instead of having bits of 10 different genres. 4. Combat - Back to my 'war' analogy. If you are fighting someone who has more stats than you, you lose. There is no strategy, just a greater than/less than result. They do have a Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic where Riders/Fighters/Shooters have a weakness against one and an advantage over another, however after a certain point that benefit becomes negligible. If you are fighting someone a sanctuary level or two higher than you (I am level 51, Sanctuary level 27), be prepared to lose 100-200 troops for every 1 you take down. When you lose a fight badly, they pop up an advertisement to 'avenge yourself', selling you a bunch of resources and healing speed ups. However, there is absolutely no way you will beat that target. There is no strategic lever to pull, you are just going to lose again. This means in the Alliance vs. Alliance events, or free for all events, there is not a strategy to implement to get ahead, you just have to stay in your lane, picking off the weaker sancs while trying to stay out of the crosshairs of larger ones. 5. Inconsistency - There are some weird bugs in the rally system. You can team up with up to 5 members of your alliance to take down Zombie Lairs. This seems like a cool team building event. However, there is a break in the game the devs refuse to acknowledge (despite screen shots being sent). The way you beat these is to have one person take the primary spot and send a strong troop. Others each provide 1 troop to take part and get rewards, but not have an impact. If you have the 2-6 spots send full troops, you'd think you'd take less casualties and do more damage. However, your casualties will go from 2-3K to 80K+, and damage dealt will be somewhat larger, but not worth the extra loss. This is one of many weird bugs. 6. Pay to Win - I have gotten reasonably far in this game without spending a dime. I like to play on skill, not my wallet, and am okay with others who can buy an edge/time with a few extra bucks. However, there are powerful heroes and equipment that cannot be earned in game. You have to buy them. Then once you buy them, you have to buy upgrades for them. When you get into the PvP arena (Hero Battles), there is no filter/search to challenge people at your power level. You are presented with other players who are 10-50% stronger than you, and get a small reward for losing. To compete, you have to pay. 7. "Customer Service" - An absolute joke. They brush off questions/concerns, and even wave off screenshot evidence.

First off, to be clear, this game is not all like any of the ads I've seen recently for it. You will *not* run away, either in 2d or 3d, from zombies, while solving puzzles to clear obstacles. It *does* involve match 3 puzzles, but most of the game is about building your city, similar to State of Survival, Evony, or the like. That said, so far, it is decent, if you're into that.

It's a nice game, definitely addicting but there should be some kind of level limit for attacks. Being a level 15 and getting attacked by a level 38, you're not given any chance to survive. Also, maybe throw in some elective ads for people who can't afford to pay to play. They don't need to be pop up, but just an option. It claims gathering supplies is the best way to up your supplies, but that takes hours unless you pay for stuff to take less time.

After having to reload the game and download the 39MB update twice, the game still kept starting over. There is no way to turn off the idiotic "help" mode that tells you how to play and I had to repeat the first level 3 times to complete it, then it frozale and started over again. This may as well have been designed by Microsoft. Worst puzzle game experience ever. Do not get.
Damion Sortek
Okay, let's be very clear here. This is NOTHING like the advertisement. Not even a little. They only got two things right from the advertisement, it is a matching game with zombies. That's it. Everything else is false advertising. Intriguing choices based on puzzles? No. Escaping a building overwhelmed by zombies? No. Getting better gear to survive situations through puzzles? No. This is a pure example of false advertising just to play another city building game. Shame on you.

Not a great game. I played for a while and could comfortable rate it a 3. The experience is NOTHING like the ads presented it to be but the user interaction made it worth playing a bit longer. Now, it's a 1, possibly zero as the came has a "network error" message and i can't get in the game at all. 2 days now. No way to contact the developers, can't reinstall, nothing. I wouldn't say it's trash but for all the issues and bait & switch, I'd rather play a bubble-pop game.
