Welcome to State .io, the epic strategy game that lets you conquer an alternative world! In this cell battle game, you'll command your troops to capture all the states while challenging your logic and reaction time.

State .io is an abstract real-time strategy game, a tactical clash of dots, and an exciting countries takeover. Decent idea, but a two aspects lead me to uninstall after only about 10 minutes. I believe it's only single player (and the campaign is far too easy), but more importantly there's a 30 second ad after every 60 second game. Not to mention, when presented with the choice of watching or declining an ad for bonus rewards, if you decline you are still forced to sit through a full length ad.

Genuinely so much fun. The strategy is very simple but very fun. Just a lot of fun. Unfortunately though, like most mobile games, ads run rampant. One after every game plus one to unlock your "gift" after beating enough stages. That second part is abs awful. I do not want to sit through an ad when I earned that gift by conquering a whole country! And 10 bucks to get rid of ads? I would've paid if it was five, easily. Overall, I look forward to seeing it prosper, just wanna see ads toned down.

It's a simple concept of sending troops back and forth, but it quickly becomes repetitive. Not to mention enemies can just destroy you if they rush you (and even though they don't often, it's still a risk). A multi-player mode might improve some of the redundancy, but otherwise this game is pretty simple and therefore is apt to be boring after awhile.

The game is nice to pass the time. Not too difficult and has a decent challenge the longer you play. But for something that's very clearly computer-generated, the inability to play offline drags it down significantly because the ads are SO aggressive. It comes off feeling like the game only exists for the ads, even though the game play is actually pretty decent. If you can't stand ads after every tiny little thing, don't download this. It really is THAT aggressive.

Some aspects are fine, but you get bombarded by ads even if you don't choose to take any bonuses. In addition, you cycle through the same 30 levels or so, making the game get boring after you loop back around. The only part I enjoyed was the unique and interesting maps, but as mentioned earlier it cycles back, ruining that aspect of the game. My only wish is that maybe they up the difficultly and tone down the ads.

Easily the worst take on the 'send bigger numbers than the other guy has' genre I've seen. Enemy scales way faster than you can possibly keep up with but the ai is so unintelligent that you should have no problem winning anyway. The ad quantity is also one of the worst I've seen in a game. Every action is an ad. Victory? Ad. Defeat? Ad. Back to the main menu? Ad. You get gifts for winning three rounds, but you have to watch an ad to get them and if you decide to not get the gift and move on? Ad.

I really enjoy the game, but there are a few problems with it. Having a difficulty setting would be nice, being able to turn it up and have a more intense game would be fun. An actual problem is the heavy reliance of ads even after paying the $2 for the ad renewal. The game needs so many more maps before it can be rated higher, it seems so short. Also adding more colors and buildings would be awesome. I would gladly rate it higher after adding more and larger maps

Fun game, but the adpocalypse. After every match. What reeks of predatory ads, though, is the "claim" video at the end of every level, with the "no thanks" showing up a few seconds later. Makes it look like the only option is to watch a video if you want to click right along. The amount of real estate used for ads and store stuff on the screen is exhausting. I understand the ads are needed to keep it free, but with a 20-second round of the game followed by a 15-second ad, the balance is way off

The ads are intrusive and they expect way too much money to get rid of them. The gameplay gets old real fast. I was hoping at level 100 something would change or happen, but no. Same simple, repetitive formula. Clearly not worth any money, really. Was fun for about 2 hours, and that's it. Not enough content to warrant any more stars, and then they expect $10 just to not have ads pop up after every match, and have a bottom border ad? Ha. No. An incomplete game that ripped off Risk. Fun for a bit.

I've made it to level 100, it's a fun game, but ultra repetitive, and the AI is pretty terrible and easy to beat. It's a fun distraction for a while though. Although I took one star off because at the end of each mission, it asks you if you want to watch an ad for x3 rewards, even if you select "no" it plays an ad anyway. So be prepared to watch an ad after EVERY mission.

It's an alright time waster. There's very little depth to the gameplay unless you deliberately make it harder for yourself by not taking any upgrades. The ads are a bit on the malicious side, but they're not that bad. In-between every round is a lot though. There also aren't many levels before it loops back to the first one but with bigger numbers. I went through 2 loops to confirm so maybe after that there are new levels but I doubt it.

The base game is decent, but every so often there's an invisible pop up that renders the entire bottom part of the map unclickable. When you click on the pop up, it forces you to watch an ad in exchange for an airdrop of troops, ruining the strategy portion of the game. If they can remove the invisible pop up or make it visible and able to cancel it, it would be a solid game but right now it's nearly unplayable. I can't recommend it until that gets fixed.

The amount of ads in this game are unbelievable you will spend more time watching ads then playing what would be a decent game to pass time. At the end of each level there is you have the choice to watch an ad for more points(which is fine by me) . If you choose to skip it you are still forced to watch an ad which is slightly shorter than the optional ad.

The overall idea and mechanics could be a lot of fun, but there's almost no strategy involved. You don't have to attack adjacent territories. I think I played 130+ levels and lost twice. It's a little bit addicting, but not in an enjoyable way it's just kind of mindless and the ads are brutal. If the AI and gameplay were improved and ads were toned down it's got a lot of potential.

I think the game was really fun and the ads were at a level thats fine. However, the offline grind is a bit too over powered and now the game has little to no difficulty. I could just restart the game and not do that, but that'd be a pain. I think adding a boss mode with no level requirement where each level has a massive increase in power could be a partial fix. Maybe an idle system where you have a bot auto complete levels for you that it'd be capable of, if possible, to reach levels that fit.

I love the concept of this game, however, there are some issues that I hope the developers take note of. Mainly, that IT IS WAY TOO EASY. I'm already 50 levels in, and I don't even have to think to breeze through every level. Not to mention I am not even upgrading my stats just because I want the closest thing to a challenge. If the level difficulty increased quicker and the ability to upgrade your stats was slowed down, the level pacing would improve immensely!

The game itself is fine I guess, but the ads are downright feral. I have no problem watching an ad every so often, or something. But after a match this one promptly tried to string 3 or 4 ads at me in a row before I could move on. I say 3 or 4 because I'm not entirely sure -- it crashed the app and I had to force close it. That was a quick uninstall from me. Stay away, it's just an ad platform with some gaming buried in there every so often.

This game is worth four stars. It's fun, it's simple, it's free. It's a good game. But oh Lord there are so many ads. I will have to watch 1-2 ads between each game I play (each game lasts about a minute or less usually). Another problem is the wheel of "chance". If you land it on the 4x (highest), it just resets the spin. I've gotten it three times in a row and still nothing. It's the greediest, most useless mechanic. If they could atleast fix the last issue mention, that would be great.
